Last decade has been a decade (2000-2019) of some of the major disaster occurrences. Majority of these disasters were climate based. Between 2000-2019 there were 7348 major recorded disaster events worldwide as compared to 4212 between 1980-1999 These disasters claimed 12mn lives and affected more than 4.03 billion people (2000 – 2019). Asia suffered the highest number of disaster events due to size of the continents, its physiography and high density of population. In terms of affected countries globally, India with 321 events was third highest in terms of economic losses and loss of lives [1

Hedgerows are as dynamic as the plants that make them, which means it would be fighting a losing battle if we tried to keep them the same size and shape forever. Instead, work out where the hedge is on the management cycle and work according to that. The ultimate goal in hedge management it to create a thick, dense hedgerow. These are the hedges that are most beneficial to landowners as well as for nature. When we cut hedges at the same point year after year, it will produce fewer flowers and fruits for wildlife, it will lose its lower branches and the hedge will become tall and at risk of inva

In the transformation processes that have been taking place in the economic system over the past four centuries, initially in Europe and then on a global scale, the sequential and cyclical nature is clearly visible, manifested most clearly in the periodic development of the so-called industrial revolutions. The essence of these four revolutions generated in many ways by scientific and technological progress are fundamental changes in the system of industrial relations. An important place in these transformations is occupied by changes in the system of management relations, along with technolog

Abstract:
Natural forests may be viewed as containing nested nutrient cycles: an "external" cycle mediated by atmospheric processes, a "soil" cycle of litter production and decay, and one or more "plant" cycles involving retranslocation and internal storage pools. The goal of plantation forest management should be to enhance all of these cycles. Stimulating the "external" cycle by adding fertilizer nutrients is likely to increase "soil" and "plant" cycling rates as well. A basic understanding of how these nested cycles are linked can improve the management of nutrients in forest plantations.

To avoid battery failure and minimise potentially dangerous situations, a monitoring system that ensures batteries function properly in the intended application is required. In terms of lifetime, the shelf storage time or calendar ageing discharge rate for primary cells is crucial because it determines how long you can keep the cell in storage before using it.
