Cette thèse a porté sur la synthèse de cycloheptatriènes (CHT) silylés et leur désymétrisation pour l’obtention de mimes de sucres. Nous avons ainsi développé une approche synthétique d’analogues de calystégines et mis en évidence un réarrangement inattendu conduisant à un squelette nortropane original. Dans un second temps, nous avons étudié l’équilibre cycloheptatriène-norcaradiène (CHT-NCD) et mis au point une méthodologie de cycloaddition de CHT silylés avec des dérivés nitroso, efficace et hautement stéréosélective, pour la synthèse d’aminocarbasucres via une cascade : électrocyclisation

Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist die Erschließung eines neuen, synthetischen Zugangs zu linearen und makrocyclischen Systemen, die als Strukturelement eine Cycloheptatrieneinheit besitzen. The one electron oxidant Mn(OAc)3 has been used for years for the oxidative addition of 1,3-dicarbonyls to alkenes to give dihydrofuranes. Since cycloheptatriene is in equilibrium with its valance isomer norcaradiene, it will be interesting to study the reaction of CHT derivatives with Mn(OAc)3 in the presence of 1,3-dicarbonyls. This thesis describes the synthetic, structural and reactivity studies of η- cycloheptatrienyl-molybdenum and -tungsten chemistry. Chapter 1 presents an overview of the chemistry of η-cycloheptatrienyl derivatives of transition metals, in particular group 6 metals. Photoelectron Photoion Coincidence (PEPICO) spectroscopy is a robust tool for elucidating complex unimolecular dissociation mechanisms and for determining thermochemical and kinetic data of gas-phase ion dissociations with high accuracy. A series of cis- and trans-bis(ethynyl)platinum complexes containing dimethyldihydropyrene (DHP) photochromic compounds were synthesized from RDHPCCH (R = H, CH3CO, PhCO, 1-naphthoyl and benzo[e]) and platinum chloride with appropriate ancillary ligands (PEt3, PPh3, dppe, bipy and phen). The complexes were studied using mass spectrometry, NMR spectroscopy (1H, 13C, 31P and 195Pt) and IR. The X-ray structural information for bis(DHP-ethynyl) platinum complexes 44, 45, 47, 49, and 52 revealed that the Pt complexes possessed a square planar geometry at the metal centers.
