Abstract:
One of the reasons of chemical explosion is the grease enters the oxygen cylinder when fill and use it. The grease in the cylinder will be oxidized, which can elevate the temperature. The high temperature will decrease the ignition point of grease, and then the combustion and explosion will occur. To prevent such accidents in the cylinder filling process, the temperature of the gas in the cylinders must be strictly controlled. In this paper, the heat transfer of the cylinder wall is studied by the method of calculation and the pressure-temperature law of outer wall of the cylinder is obtained.

The aluminum cylinder shows sharper longitudinal temperature gradients as compared to the nickel and the titanium cylinders, which is due to the high value of the aluminum specific heat capacity. The temperature change of frozen soil wall and the evolution characteristics of the specific heat capacity are analyzed. The frozen soil cylinders form surrounding freezing pipes at initial freezing stage, and the temperature field of frozen soil presents a non-linear decrease. With the increase of freezing time, the radius of the frozen soil cylinder increases and a frozen soil wall is enclosed. After freezing 30 days, the thickness of the frozen soil wall is obtained as 1.7 m. After freezing 250 days, the thickness of frozen soil wall increases to about 11.0 m.

Spray-wall impingement is a widespread phenomenon applied in many fields, including spray-wall cooling system, spray coating process and fuel spray and atomization in internal combustion engines. In direct-injection spark ignition (DISI), it is difficult to avoid the fuel film on the piston head and cylinder surfaces. The wet wall caused by impingement affects the air-fuel mixture formation process, which finally influence the subsequent combustion efficiency and performance. Therefore, the fuel spray and impingement under gasoline engine-like conditions were characterized. Mie scattering technique was applied to visualize the spray evolution and impingement processes in a high-pressure and high-temperature constant chamber. Meanwhile, the adhered fuel film on the wall was measured by refractive index matching (RIM) under non-evaporation and evaporation conditions considering the effects of different injection pressures, ambient pressures and ambient temperatures. Additionally, the fuel film formation and evaporation evolution models were proposed with the help of these mechanisms.

Estimating cylinder wall temperature before start of fuel injection in a dynamic and cycle-by-cycle way is important for advanced combustion mode engine control, particularly during cold-start and transient operations. In this paper, two methods for cylinder wall temperature estimation, based on disturbance observer designs, are proposed. The heat transfer through cylinder wall is viewed as a disturbance in total heat release. With disturbance observers, this heat transfer can be estimated in finite time and thus to calculate the cylinder wall temperature. To handle the high frequency noise is

Abstract A high-order moment method is employed to study the effect of the wall temperature on gas flow past a stationary circular cylinder in terms of the size of the vortices behind the cylinder and the drag coefficient. When the wall temperature is lower than the free stream temperature, flow separation occurs at a lower Reynolds number and the vortex length is elongated with a corresponding reduction in the drag coefficient. Conversely, increasing the wall temperature above the free stream temperature delays the onset of flow separation and increases the drag coefficient.
