Abstract:
A new potamiscine genus, Laevimon, is established for two species of semi-terrestrial freshwater crabs from Vietnam, viz., Laevimon kottelati, new species (type species) and L. tankiensis (Dang & Tran, 1992). The genus is morphologically closest to Hainanpotamon Dai, 1995, but is easily distinguished by distinct sternal and gonopodal characters. The status of Orientalia Dang, 1975, a synonym of Hainanpotamon, as a junior homonym of Orientalia Radoman, 1972 (Mollusca), is also discussed.

Abstract:
Caridean prawns of the genus Macrobrachium Bate, 1868 (Crustacea, Decapoda, Palaemonidae) collected from the Laotian river system were studied. Fourteen species are recognised in this study, including one unidentified species. Their taxonomy is discussed and illustrated, of which 11 species are new records to the Laotian fauna. The identity of species of the “M. dienbienphuense” group has been remained obscure, and this study, which incorporated the 16S rRNA mitochondrial gene analysis, demonstrated that M. amplimanus Cai & Dai, 1999, M. dienbienphuense Dang & Nguyen, 1972, and M. eriocheirum Dai, 1984 are valid species. The Macrobrachium fauna in Laos exhibited closer affinity to that of the tropical Indo-China and Sunda elements (southern Yunnan Province, south-western China, northern Vietnam as well as north and north-eastern Thailand), implying that the Mekong River system contributes substantially to the regional freshwater prawn biodiversity.

Abstract:
In the circumstance of the Chinesse emigrants going abroad to seek shelter and find new lands, especially southeast Asia, Dang Trong of Dai Viet kingdom has gradually become a point of arrival which attracts them strongly. Depending on geographic position of contigous sea and advantage of Dang Trong context at home and abroad, Chinese merchants and emigrants have come to the central coastal parts (especially in Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, and Phu Yen). Having settled in southeast Asia region as well as in the central part of Vietnam, Chinese emigrants have preseved their traditional culture to gain achievements in this land region. Besides, they have actively integrated into native communities, exchanging culture for prosperity and development. This paper indicates cultural exchanges, integration and development of the Hoa in the central coastal provinces in history and present, which asserts their contributions in the fields of culture, economy and society to build Vietnam nation, notably in the age of present international integration.

Abstract:
Characterization and identification of potent LMEs (Lignin Modifying Enzymes) producing fungi from Dang (Gujarat) was conducted at Department of Plant Pathology, College of Agriculture, Navsari Agricultural University, Waghai in 2021-22, Fungal isolates LD1, LD4, LD5, LD9, LD15, LD19, LD20 and LD39 were screened for Lignin Modifying Enzymes (LME) on ABTS (2, 2 azinobis (3-ethylbenz-thiazoline)-6 sulphonate), Methyl orange and α- naphthol agar and observed that all the fungal strains showed color zone/clear zone on different indicator plates. However, fungal strain LD19 showed the highest potency index on both ABTS and methyl orange plates. Among the 8 selected fungal isolates, 5 produced all the three enzymes viz. laccase, lignin peroxidase (LiP) and manganese peroxidase (MnP), 2 produced two enzymes while 1 produced only one enzyme. Isolate LD19 had given maximum laccase activity at all the intervals and it was maximum at 6 DAI (206.74 U ml-1) followed by LD20 (144.79 U ml-1), LD4 (118.38 U ml-1) and LD15 (113.68 U ml-1). Maximum LiP activity was recorded in LD19 (1.314 U ml-1) at 8 DAI followed by LD1 (0.903 U ml-1) and it was lowest in LD39 (0.725 U ml-1). Maximum MnP activity was recorded in LD19 (428.65 U ml-1) at 8 DAI followed by LD39 (308.13 U ml-1), LD15 (290.18 U ml-1), LD4 (262.16 U ml-1) and MnP activity was not detected in LD1 and LD5. The highest LMEs were observed in LD19. Potential LMEs producing fungi LD19 wasidentified as Schizophyllum commune, by morphological, microscopic characteristics and molecular methods and submitted to NCBI GenBank database with accession numbers MW720154.

Abstract:
Dangha is one of the dialects of Tharu language. The alternate names of Dangha language are Dangaura, Dangali, Dangauli, Dangora and Dangura. The population of Dangaura language was 500000 in Nepal in 2003. And the number is increasing. Dangaura language is located in Raptizone-Dang, Bheri-Bardiya, Banke and Surkhet districts, Seti zone- Kailali district, Mahakali zone Kanchanpur district, Lumbini zone- Rupandehi and Kapilvastu districts. The status of the variety isthat it is a recognized indigenous national language in Nepal. That is why it is important to study on the verbal affixes of it. The objective of this study is to find out the similarities and differences of verbal affixes of Dangha with Nepali and English languages. The study has applied qualitative method. Questionnaire and interview were used for primary data collection. The researcher used non random and purposive sampling design to select the samples from the population. He used Eugene A. Nida's six principles for verb analysis. -a, -i and -ti suffixes are used to mark progressive aspect in Dangha dialect. -a and -i suffixes are used to mark point in time whereas -ti suffix is used to mark period of time. In the same way, suffix -ti is used to mark period of time and point in time in future tense. In Nepali language -tai/dai oreko/eki/eka suffixes are used to indicate progressive aspect while English using suffix to show progressive aspect. Tharu and English have separate progressive aspect marker for point in time or period of time but Nepali progressive marker can be used for both times simultaneously.

Abstract:
Abstract Background: Gastric cancer remains the leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide, ranking fifth for incidence and fourth for mortality. Combining neoadjuvant therapy with immune checkpoint inhibitors has demonstrated improved outcomes for patients with gastric cancer. However, responses exhibit heterogeneity, and the understanding of the mediators influencing therapy response is limited. Methods: In this study, we collected 80 blood and tumor samples from 22 gastric cancer patients treated with XELOX/SOX alone or its combination with Nivolumab (anti-PD-1). Paired single-cell RNA-, TCR-, and BCR-sequencing were performed on pre- and post-treatment samples to investigate the dynamics of immune and tumor cells during the development of response/resistance to therapy. Results: Our findings revealed that elevated levels of baseline CD4 and CD8+ tissue-resident memory T (TRM) cells, in activated and stressed states, are associated with a superior response to combined therapy, and treatment further amplifies this cell population in responsive patients. Tracking T cell receptor clones across pre-/post-treated blood and tumor samples disclosed that the expanded clonotypes of TRM cells are exclusively detected in tumors, and considerable preexisting clones contribute to the expansion of these T cell populations following treatment. The simultaneous presence of TRM, B, and dendritic cells in pre-treated tumors predicted a favorable response, and they concertedly expanded in tumors responsive to anti-PD-1 therapy. Conclusions: Our findings highlight the significance of TRM cells in effective responses to anti-PD-1 therapies and indicate that their cellular communication with B and dendritic cells play a pivotal role in shaping the antitumor immunity elicited by combination therapy. Together, this study illuminates vital immune cell subsets during immune checkpoint blockade treatment, provides biological insights into the mechanism of successful combination therapy, and unravels potential targets for improving treatment efficacy in gastric cancer. Abstract:
Abstract Renal medullary carcinoma (RMC) is a rare but highly aggressive SMARCB1-deficient kidney cancer that mainly afflicts young individuals of African descent and has few treatment options. Despite the advancements in immune checkpoint therapy (ICT) for other kidney cancers, its efficacy against RMC remains elusive. The majority of RMC patients treated with ICT have experienced aggressively progressive disease as the best response. This hyperprogression was confirmed in our prospective clinical trial of nivolumab plus ipilimumab specifically designed for RMC patients (ClinicalTrials.gov identifier: NCT03274258). To elucidate the mechanisms of resistance to ICT in RMC, we generated high-quality single-cell RNA sequencing data on 23,880 cells from 7 patients at baseline and 2 patients exhibiting hyperprogression after ICT intervention. Our analysis revealed that RMC tumor cells undergo a distinct transcriptional reconfiguration following ICT therapy. This reconfiguration is manifested by upregulation of S100A9 and activation of the MEK/ERK pathway, indicating that RMC tumor cells adopt myeloid-affiliated transcriptional circuits, potentially promoting cell proliferation and leading to hyperprogression. Using a mouse model of RMC, we further demonstrated in a controlled setting that ICT causes hyperprogressive disease via activation of MEK/ERK pathway and an increase of S100A9 positive tumor cells. This process can be reversed by inhibiting master regulators of this “myeloid mimicry” mechanism, such as the CEBPB/p300 complex in our mouse model of RMC, thus restoring sensitivity to ICT. These findings provide novel insights into RMC resistance to ICT and suggest valuable directions for the development of therapeutic strategies. Abstract:
Abstract The principle of directionality is an important part of the comparative method: in order to arrive at a reconstruction, historical linguists need a robust theory that informs them in what direction linguistic change is likely to proceed. But any such theory will have exceptions. How are these to be spotted? I examine one case in which a counter-directional change, degrammaticalization, can be reconstructed by invoking the phonotactics of the proto-language. The degrammaticalized form is the Sirva 3sg pronoun be, and the proto-language is Proto-Sogeram. After making this reconstruction, I also demonstrate that it can be used to enhance our understanding of degrammaticalization. Be spawned a small family of related forms, which shows us that degrammaticalized forms can become polygrammaticalized in the same way as other grammatical morphemes.

Abstract:
Dabigatran (DAB) is an orally administered thrombin inhibitor. Both DAB and its main metabolite dabigatran acylglucuronide (DABG) have established anticoagulant effects. Here, we aimed to compare the relative anticoagulant effects of DABG and DAB in humans. Anticoagulant effects of DAB and DABG were measured in vitro using a thrombin generation assay. Additionally, their effects on other coagulation assays including PT, aPTT, TT, and fibrinogen were compared. Both DAB and DABG showed inhibitory effects on thrombin generation in a dose-dependent manner, but DABG exhibited a weaker inhibitory effect than that of DAB. The IC50 values of DAB and DABG on thrombin generation AUC were 134.1 ng/mL and 281.9 ng/mL, respectively. DABG also exhibited weaker anticoagulant effects than DAB on PT, aPTT, and TT. The results of the present study indicate that the anticoagulant effect of DABG, a main active DAB metabolite, is weaker than that of DAB.

Abstract:
Many buildings in Indonesia were damaged during the earthquake, especially non-engineered brick walls building. One example of non-engineered brick walls building is Bendung Village Head Office in Serang, Banten, which was damaged by the 2019 Pandeglang earthquake. This building was built without reinforced concrete beams and columns known as unconfined masonry buildings. In this study, the building will be redesigned with ETABS software to determine the similarities between the structural weaknesses from ETABS and the actual damage. The results of the structural analysis give a time period of 0.814 seconds, a base shear force of 195.5 kN, and a stress on the wall that is 50% similar to the real damage. Then, the same building was designed following the rules and regulations for earthquake resistant buildings in Indonesia so that it became a confined masonry building. The result is a time period of 1.586 seconds, a base shear force of 114.2 kN, and a brick wall that is not damaged when exposed to earthquake loads. However, the dimensions and reinforcement of beams and columns that comply with the minimum requirements for earthquake resistant buildings in Indonesia need to be enlarged because their strength capacity is exceeded by the working load.

Abstract:
Over the past few decades, there has been a significant increase in female inmates entering the criminal justice system. However, in reality, empirical research in the criminal justice system focuses more on male prisoners than on female prisoners. This situation leads to a lack of discussion and debate about female prisoners in literature or secondary sources. In relation to that, this concept paper aims to fill the gap by identifying crime factors based on gender perspective, the impact of women's involvement in crime and the need for a rehabilitation program that is responsive and sensitive to gender aspects. In this conceptual paper, a large amount of literature has been dedicated to understanding women's involvement in crime and the implications of such behavior. This concept paper concludes with a recommendation to introduce gender-responsive and gender-sensitive programs to help female prisoners become productive, law-abiding and able to reintegrate with the community.

Abstract:
On 18 March 2020, the Malaysian government declared the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO) throughout the country in an effort to curb the Covid-19 pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic has become a global health issue as it has had a guge impact on the changing of the way people live. This led to the introduction of the Work From Home (WFH) policy, a policy implementation that has had impacted on the well-being of families in this country, especially in Sabah and Sarawak. Having said that, however, it is unclear how far the policy implementation actually has determined the well-being of families in Sabah and Sarawak. Accordingly, a study was conducted to understand the impacts of WFH policy on the well-being of families in Sabah and Sarawak through the application of mixed-method approach as the data were obtained using survey questionnaires, secondary sources and interviews with focus groups. The data affirm that the WFH policy implementation has had a significant impact on the well-being of families in Sabah and Sarawak. This suggests that the WFH policy is among the key determinant factors in the well-being of families. Therefore, further evaluation the the best mechanism pertaining to the implementation WFH policy is needed as a means of ensuring the introduction of similar policies in the future will not affect on the family well-being negatively.

Abstract:
This paper cited historical facts and legal documents to assess the truth of this articulation and the true nature of the power position of the Malay kings in the past and in contemporary times. The sources of reference from a historical point of view consist of historical texts of the homeland, including Sulalatus Salatin (History of the Malays), Hikayat Raja-raja Pasai, Hikayat Aceh, Hikayat Melayu Siak, Tuhfat al-Nafis, Undang Undang 99 Perak, Bustanul-Salatin, and Thamarat al-Muhimmah (just to name a few). While the sources of reference from a legal point of view include the documents of the Pangkor Agreement 1874, the Federation Agreement of Malaya 1948, the Federal Constitution of Malaysia 1957, the Constitution of the Kingdom of Johor and the Constitution of the Kingdom of Terengganu (just to name a few). Based on the sources referred to, this paper argues that in fact in no time have Malay kings ever ruled. At any time the position and function of the Malay kings in the following five matters: granting pardons, declaring war, imposing the death penalty, determining external (international) relations and the owner of sovereignty. On the other hand, the real parties who run the government are the officials. In the old days they consisted of the Four Chiefs, namely the Treasurer, the Chief Treasurer, the Chief of Staff and the Admiral. While in contemporary times, at the State Government level they consist of the Menteri Besar together with the DUN (Chairmen of Committees), and at the Central Government (Federal) level they consist of the Prime Minister together with the Council of Ministers. Copying these primary (or main) facts is important because it can provide an explanation of the true position of the Malay kings today. The facts quoted explain that despite the various events that happened, including during the British occupation, the Malay kings did not experience a loss of power. This at the same time can remove the ambiguity about the position of the institution of the Malay king which is the basis of the stability and security of the country.

Abstract:
Abstract Metastases from gastric adenocarcinoma (GAC) lead to high morbidity and mortality in the clinic. However, to date, the study of primary tumors with matched metastases from GAC patients has not been conducted, mainly because the collection of such samples in clinics is extremely challenging. To understand the evolution of metastatic cells and their interactions with the tumor microenvironment (TME), we performed paired single-cell transcriptome and immune profiling of primary tumors, matched liver metastases (LM) and/or peritoneal carcinomatosis (PC), adjacent normal, and blood specimens, a total of 68 samples collected from 20 treatment-naïve metastatic GAC patients. Our analysis revealed differentially remodeled TMEs across primary and metastatic sites, in particular, the B, T, and myeloid cells. Relative to normal tissues, the fractions of B lineage cells decreased significantly in primary GACs and were nearly depleted in LMs and PC samples. Consistently, T and B cell clonality decreased significantly in metastatic tumors, and the majority of the top expanded T cell clones were likely non-tumor specific. We discovered divergent evolutionary paths leading to diminished anti-tumor immune responses in the liver and peritoneal TMEs. For example, the Marco_c3 (highly expressed INHBA, SDC2, and CCL20) was highly enriched in LMs, whereas Marco_c1 (highly expressed APOE, APOC1, and C1QC) and proliferative macrophages were uniquely enriched in the peritoneal TME. In addition to TME cells, we defined normal epithelial cell states, quantified, and validated cancer cell state plasticity in paired primaries/metastases, and linked it to site-specific TME architectures. Notably, unlike PC cancer cells that displayed a greater degree of chromosomal instability, most LM cancer cells lost their lineage identity, embracing markedly increased epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition and “mixed” lineage states. Significant correlations between the fractions of TME cell subsets and the abundance of tumor cells in different lineage states were observed, suggesting potential crosstalk between tumor and TME cells. Lastly, we found differential activation of cancer meta-programs and gene co-expression modules (GMs) unique to metastatic tumors. Among them, high expression of GM2 in primary GACs predicts an increased risk of distant metastasis. In summary, this study provides a much needed and detailed understanding of the cellular and molecular basis of the phenotypic diversity of matched primary-metastases from GACs that have clinical implications. The single-cell multi-omics data generated by this study can serve as a valuable resource to the community to advance scientific discoveries. Abstract:
The establishment of waqf funds in institutions of higher learning is increasingly being developed by many public and private institutions of higher learning throughout the country. The phenomenon of the establishment of waqf funds has triggered great innovations in the development of waqf in the country. It is in line with the launch of the UniTP Purple Book Guidelines that has been enforced for use in October 2016 by the Ministry of Higher Education to develop their respective endowment management centers to generate income. In this regard, UiTM Perlis Branch took the initiative to establish the UiTM Perlis Knowledge Endowment Fund (DWIPs). Thus, this study examined the issues and challenges faced by DWIPs in helping the income generation of higher learnings institutions. This study used a qualitative method with a case study at UiTM Perlis Branch. The experience of the authors and fellow authors who led DWIPs from the beginning of the establishment to the present were analyzed and described descriptively and comparatively. The findings of the study found that there are four issues and challenges, which are lack of understanding and public awareness of waqf, management bureaucracy problems, lack of energy resources in the management of DWIPs as well as legal and financial barriers. The results of this study are intended to help spread awareness of DWIPs among the staff and gain attention from the university management. In relation to that, it can also increase the amount of knowledge endowment fund collection and benefit all UiTM Perlis Branch staff.

Abstract:
This article discusses the analysis of a questionnaire instrument that assesses public servants' perceptions of working from home. This study uses the Work from Home Instrument which has been modified from the Work from Home Instrument of the COVID-19 Challenge (WFHI-CvdC; Siti Sarawati Johar, 2021). The instrument was modified from the assessment of the perception of working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic to post-COVID-19 pandemic. To ensure that the constructs and indicators of this instrument are appropriate to the respondent's condition, it has been developed and tested for validity and reliability. Before being sent to the respondents during the pilot study, this instrument was evaluated by three research experts. The pilot study involved 30 employees of statutory bodies, including academic and non-academic staff from various salary grades. For the analysis process, the Statistical Package for Social Science program, or SPSS version 26.0 was used to test the instrument of this study. The result of the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) validity test analysis is 0.762, and the Cronbach's Alpha reliability coefficient value for all items of this instrument is 0.947. This finding shows that the instrument used in this study has validity and reliability that allows it to be used in the study. In fact, each item in this questionnaire is also suitable to assess the perception of civil servants in a statutory body in Malaysia regarding the perception of working from home.

Abstract:
Bentonite and carbon bagasse adsorbents are used to study the effects of temperature and absorption time on the physico-chemical properties of refined used cooking oil. Any extended use of outdated cooking oil will have an impact on the body's health since it causes fat cells to accumulate in various vital organs. Used cooking oil can be cleaned by using adsorbents like bentonite, bagasse, and activated carbon. This study investigated the effects of temperature and adsorption period on the purification results of used cooking oil using activated carbon adsorbents comprised of bagasse and bentonite. In this study, a factorial group randomised design was used. First, there is a 1:1 adsorbent to substrate ratio. Secondly, there are four adsorption temperature levels: 30°C, 60°C, 90°C, and 120°C. The third factor is adsorption time, which are: 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes. Counting the quantity of acids, peroxides, and free fatty acids was one method of data analysis. The best results are obtained when used cooking oil is refined using activated carbon, bagasse, and bentonite at 120°C for 90 minutes of adsorption. The result is an acid number of 0.913, a peroxide number of 2.532, and a free fatty acid content of 0.459%.

Abstract:
Abstract Introduction: Gastric adenocarcinoma (GAC), a global health burden, lacks detail understanding of the evolution-driven cellular/molecular programs that lead to GAC tumorigenesis followed by progression/metastases. How the TME is orchestrated by precancerous lesions, primary GAC, and in metastatic niches, when well understood, may propel us into an entirely new dimension with the hopes of novel therapeutics. However, only a few studies have investigated the immune/stromal subtypes of GAC with the limitation of scope, cohort size, and/or depth or mainly focused on the primary GACs. Here, we present an atlas of transcriptionally diverse TME across the full continuum of GAC by including peripheral blood, normal gastric tissues, premalignant lesions, localized, and metastatic GACs. Methods: We performed a comprehensive single-cell profiling of 68 specimens collected from 43 subjects including a total of 77,392 high-quality cells which revealed 62 unique cell states uncovering varying profiles. We defined alterations in TMEs that underscore initiation of tumorigenesis to eventual progression. Results: We found a striking preponderance of B lineage cells, primarily the IgA+ plasma cells, in TMEs of the precancerous lesions, whereas 3 immunosuppressive myeloid subsets dominated in advanced GACs. Fractions of GZMK+ effector CD8 T cells and progenitor exhausted CD8 T cells gradually increased as GACs progressed to advanced stages. In addition, our analysis revealed extensive stromal remodeling along the GAC continuum, which may have contributed to enhanced angiogenesis and immune suppressive signaling. The observations in the primary tumors could be validated in an independent scRNA-seq dataset. Notably, we uncovered 3 unique TME interactomes and defined 6 cellular environtypes inhabited by 62 TME cell subsets giving GAC to a novel landscape not yet defined. The two distinct environtypes in GAC primaries are validated in three independent large-scale GAC cohorts, giving credence and definition to previously established histopathological variables, genomic/molecular subtypes and clinical outcomes. The analysis of tumor associated stromal cells discovered SDC2 as an exploitable target to pursue. SDC2 was abundant in cancer associated fibroblasts (CAFs), and the abundance is validated in 3 independent single-cell GAC cohorts as well as at the protein level. SDC2 expression was significantly higher in advanced (vs. early) stages and diffuse (vs. intestinal) type of GAC, and SDC2 overexpression was associated with shorter survival in all 5 large-scale GAC cohorts. Lastly, we assessed the functional effects of SDC2 expression in CAFs on tumor growth in vivo in xenograft models and found SDC2 overexpression in CAFs contributes to tumor growth. Conclusion: This study provides an atlas of GAC TMEs from tumorigenesis to advanced GAC that could be further developed for novel therapeutics but also serves as a community resource. Abstract:

Abstract:
Swale drainage is a broad and shallow drainage that is able to filter runoff before flowing to the main drain and river. This study is focused on the effectiveness of the swale drainage compared to concrete drainage, in terms of pollutant removal and its relationship with the infiltration rate. The chosen site is at Astaka field, in Selangor. The water quality of the outflow was tested to determine the water quality classes when compared to the Interim National Water Quality Standards (INWQS) for Malaysia. Chemical oxygen demand (COD), total suspended solid (TSS), ammonia nitrogen, pH and turbidity are the five parameters that were tested in the water quality test. The study of infiltration rate of swale outflow was done by using the Mini Disk Infiltrometer and was compared with that of the field without swale. Swale proved to be effective to remove about 40%-60% TSS, 10-70% COD and 30-80% ammonia nitrogen compared to the regular concrete drain. The water turbidity of the outlet is higher than that of the inlet for both types of drainage. Results show that swale has negligible effects towards the pH value. The pH value obtained shows signs of alkalinity of the water outflow. The water quality of the outflow at swale outlet achieved Class II according to the INWQS for Malaysia. Swale at Astaka field had a rate of infiltration of 1.8-2 cm/hour which indicates a smaller rate than the field without swale.

Abstract:
This study aims to examine the rate of student satisfaction with the bus transportation in the university campus and the recommendations for the development of e-Tracking application. Both aspects are related to two important activities involving student time management that related to attendance of lectures and co-curricular activities. To date, most of their presence has been supported by the existing bus transportation facility. However, there are some issues related to this transportation such as delays, safety, convenience, and comfort. As a result, it may create the unsatisfactory feelings among the students. In addition, the bus transportation for students is an important matter and it directly has an impact on academic performance and co-curricular activities. Delay or non-attendance in these two activities within a certain period can contribute to the depreciation of student performance. Therefore, this study was established to get the students' perspective on these two aspects. This study was conducted in a quantitative method to discover about student satisfaction based on three constructs, namely safety, convenience, and comfort. A total of 500 undergraduate students answered the questionnaire via Google forms sent via email and Whatsapp. The study data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS software and the results were translated with a student satisfaction index valued from zero to one. The results of the study showed that students had a low level of satisfaction with the three constructs with a value of 0.46 for safety, 0.53 for convenience and 0.51 for comfort. Meanwhile, students strongly agreed if e-Tracking application could be developed as a measure to improve the transportation system. It is hoped that the application can support students to manage time more effectively and in turn have an impact on their academic performance.

Abstract:
Bledug Kuwu is an area that has a fairly high salt content, this is caused by sea water trapped in the sedimentation process around the 18th century. Microorganisms that are able to live in extreme areas tend to have typical metabolic activities and can be utilized in industry. The purpose of this study was to characterize microbiologically, bacteria isolated from Bledug Kuwu, Kradenan District, Grobogan Regency, Central Java. The method used in this study was isolation on LB + NaCl media with NaCl levels of 10%, 12.5% and 15%. Characterization was done by Gram staining and motility test. The results obtained in samples from 3 sources, namely teak water, salt water and mud water, obtained 8 pure isolates. The seven isolates have the ability to grow optimally at 10% NaCl concentration so that these bacteria can be classified as moderate halophilic bacteria with the majority of species being coccus, Gram positive, and non motile.
