Input Data Management (IDM) is a time consuming and costly process for Discrete Event Simulation (DES) projects. Input Data Management is considered as the basis of real-time process simulation (Bergmann, Stelzer and Strassburger, 2011). According to Bengtsson et al. (2009), data input phase constitutes on the average about 31% of the time of an entire simulation project. Moreover, the lack of interoperability between manufacturing applications and simulation software leads to a high cost to users in developing custom-built interfaces (NIST, 2011). Therefore, a standard structure is needed to

The simplicity of these attacks implies that the security of PDSs, and maybe data structures in general, have not been considered properly from an adversarial perspective. This thesis addresses the problem of classification with uncertain input data using fuzzy neural networks. Uncertainty in classification is produced, in most cases, by overlapping among classes due to noise in the input data. However, there are many examples of classification problems where the classes overlap naturally. Conventional classifier design requires the model to arrive to a crisp decision by minimising the probability of misclassification. A decision surface is fitted and a certain compromise is reached in order to artificially separate the overlapping classes. This study suggests t
