Abstract:
The article argues that Uriah died due to Yahweh’s hatred for the Hittites. The Deuteronomist was very interested in telling us how David was very promiscuous and ungodly. However, when an exegesis was done on the study text, it was discovered that Yahweh, as well as Bathsheba, should be held responsible for the death of Uriah. Furthermore, it was proven that David did all he could to make Uriah escape being killed, but Providence being orchestrated by Yahweh made it clear that Uriah was not ready to give heed to the pleadings of David. Moreover, Yahweh hated the Hittites, the tribe of Uriah.

The twelfth session of the International School of Theatre Anthropology (ISTA) held in Bielefeld, Germany, in August 2000, set out to explore, under the title ‘Action, Structure, Coherence’, the relationship between the actor and text – and specifically between actors trained in the Odin and other physically-rooted traditions and texts of the supposedly ‘classical’, text-based theatre of western Europe. David Korish here reports on three encounters between different pairs of actors and their texts, and their several means of developing a dynamic physical score appropriate to the text concerned

In January 1984 the Bank of England Panel of Academic Consultants held a meeting to discuss the economic recovery in Britain in the early 1930s. The proceedings were published in Panel Paper no. 23. There were two main papers, one by David Worswick and the other by myself, Forrest Capie and Brian Griffiths (BCG). Our main contribution was to argue that the recession was largely triggered on the supply side rather than the demand side.

David Graeber and David Wengrow’s The Dawn of Everything offers a salutary corrective to modern political theory, with its choice between two forms of the “state of nature”: Hobbes’s negative vision of bloodthirsty humans held in check only by the violent power of the sovereign, and Rousseau’s apparently more positive vision of naturally equal humans corrupted by the introduction of agriculture and metallurgy. However, the alternative Graeber and Wengrow offer –a world of imaginative and experimental humans freely choosing different forms of society– excessively downplays the political mediati

Measurements derived from remote-sensing research and Held surveys have provided new ice-velocity data for David Glacier-Drygalski Ice Tongue and Priestley and Reeves Glaciers, Antarctica. Average surface velocities were determined by tracking crevasses and other patterns moving with the ice in two sequential satellite images. Velocity measurements were made for different time intervals (1973-90, 1990-92, etc.) using images from various satellite sensors (Landsat 1 MSS, Landsat TM, SPOT XS). in a study of the dynamics of David Glacier-Drygalski IceTongue and Priestley and Reeves Glaciers, glob

Abstract:
The Food and Drug Administration plans to make it easier for pharmaceutical manufacturers to provide doctors with information on the proper doses of prescription drugs for children. FDA Commissioner David Kessler is expected to announce plans today to allow manufacturers in some circumstances to provide pediatric-use information on drug labels, even if they haven't held full-blown clinical trials involving children. The information would be based on extrapolations from adult studies, plus other data about the effects on children.
