ABSTRACTThis article compares the representations of aboriginal people, and especially the Yellowknife leader Akaitcho, in the journal written by John Franklin during his first expedition (1819–1822) and the narrative he published in 1823. Eduard Dallmann, of Blumenthal on the lower Weser, went to sea at the age of 15 in 1845. He took command of his first ship, the whaling vessel Planet, in 1859 on a whaling voyage to the sperm whaling grounds in the Pacific and to the Sea of Okhotsk. The tests were conducted at the Naval Surface Warfare Center’s David Taylor Model Basin in Carderock, Maryland. Abstract:

In internal combustion engines a large portion of the chemical energy held in the original fuel is exhausted as waste heat. This exhaust heat represents a significant potential source of energy to be harnessed. The thermochemical recuperation process uses an endothermic reformation reaction to upgrade fuel into a hydrogen rich gas, thereby converting a portion of the exhaust heat into chemical energy. There is a multitude of seagoing missions such as rescue missions, coast guard and pilot duties, whose success depend on ship-deployed boats. Launching these boats from a mother ship or recovering them by special deployment systems in a broad range of environmental conditions are key operations for a successive mission. The uncertainty of pyranometer measurements should be traced back to the World Radiation Reference (WRR), a standard that is specified by the mean sensitivity of the World Standard Group (WSG). The WSG is build up by 7 primary standard pyrheliometers, operated at Davos, Switzerland.
