Abstract:
Ageing well currently represents a major challenge for consumers and marketers, but this concept needs further investigation. To address this issue, we introduce the concept of Desired Ageing Well (DAW), which refers to the psychological, physical, social and financial objectives of ageing well. We provide a reliable and valid bifactor measurement model (general factor and specific factors) in which general DAW is accompanied by three specific factors, namely, physical DAW, social DAW and financial DAW. Together with age, DAW proves to be of value for explaining consumption in four sectors: e-

We present original fieldwork data as evidence that the Tagalog reportative evidential daw projects, like e.g. presuppositions and conventional implicatures (CIs), in the sense that daw can carry an implication that is immune to entailment-modifying operators. Previous work has purported that evidentials in other languages can project, but after examining these claims, we argue that the data we give for daw constitute the first evidence of a projective evidential. We then give a formally explicit account of daw in a multistratal semantics that is both dynamic and compositional. This semantics

AbstractThis paper presents a simple description of three-wave decay interactions involving a pump dispersive Alfvén wave (DAW), decay DAW and decay slow wave (SW) in a uniform magnetized plasma. When the ponderomotive nonlinearities are incorporated in DAW dynamics, the model equations governing the nonlinear excitation of the SWs by DAW in the low-β plasmas (β ≪ me/mi as applicable to solar corona) are given. The expressions for the coupling coefficients of the three-wave interaction have been derived. The growth rate of the instability is also calculated and found that the value of the deca

AbstractThis paper presents the nonlinear dynamics of the dispersive Alfvén wave (DAW) in the low-β plasmas (β≪me/mi; known as inertial Alfvén waves) applicable to solar corona. When the ponderomotive nonlinearities are incorporated in the DAW and SW dynamics, the model equations of DAW and SW turn out to be the modified Zakharov system of equations (MZSE) Growth rate and threshold field for modulational (filamentation) instability have been calculated. Introduction: Dental alginate impression material is the most common material used in dentistry. However, dental alginate waste (DAW) is one of the causes of the increasing number of dentistry and medicinal wastes. This research was aimed to discover the effect of dental alginate impression waste as additional fertiliser on the plant yields by determining the weight of cauliflower crop, and towards the quality of soil by determining the soil pH (Ultisol® Jatinangor). Methods: The experiment was using a randomised block design with 4 treatments and 7 times replications. The treatment consisted

In this talk, it will be shown that the Tagalog clitic daw is a reportative evidential. Further, it will be shown that certain utterances with daw have implications that project, although this possibility of projection is context-dependent. Due to these properties, these implications of utterances with daw do not fit into standardly assumed categories of meaning, and thus this evidence has important consequences for the study of the taxonomy of meaning.
