Ageing well currently represents a major challenge for consumers and marketers, but this concept needs further investigation. To address this issue, we introduce the concept of Desired Ageing Well (DAW), which refers to the psychological, physical, social and financial objectives of ageing well. We provide a reliable and valid bifactor measurement model (general factor and specific factors) in which general DAW is accompanied by three specific factors, namely, physical DAW, social DAW and financial DAW. Together with age, DAW proves to be of value for explaining consumption in four sectors: e-

We present original fieldwork data as evidence that the Tagalog reportative evidential daw projects, like e.g. presuppositions and conventional implicatures (CIs), in the sense that daw can carry an implication that is immune to entailment-modifying operators. Previous work has purported that evidentials in other languages can project, but after examining these claims, we argue that the data we give for daw constitute the first evidence of a projective evidential. We then give a formally explicit account of daw in a multistratal semantics that is both dynamic and compositional. This semantics

AbstractThe design and performance analysis of a wing tip device proposed within the M-DAW project by ONERA is presented. A proto-design process is described and the device was thoroughly assessed (mainly with Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes simulations). The process was further explained through wind-tunnel tests at both low speed and high speed in the pressurised and cryogenic European transonic wind tunnel in Cologne. The device is a downward pointing winglet designed for a retrofit scenario (the wing could be modified only within the 96% – 100% bounds of the span). It was designed to keep

The dust acoustic wave (DAW), associated with longitudinal dust oscillations in dusty plasmas, can be self-excited from the free energy of ion streaming. It is not only a fundamental plasma wave but also a paradigm to understand the generic dynamical behaviors of self-excited nonlinear longitudinal density waves through optically monitoring particle motion and dust density evolutions over a large area. In this paper, the dynamical behaviors of the wave-particle interaction and wave breaking in ordered self-excited DAW with straight wave fronts, and the defect-mediated wave turbulence with fluc

Making music for a film can be said to be quite challenging for some people with the necessity that music can evoke the atmosphere in the film. Determination and placement of audio aspects into visual form are things done in the music scoring process. Of course, it will be very inconvenient and inefficient when making music must be through recording instruments manually through the studio. As technology develops in the world of music production, making music for films can now be made using only a computer. This can happen thanks to the Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software. This composition consists of manipulative sounds that describe the atmosphere occurring at the time of Subuh prayer in Salayo Tanang Bukit Sileh, Lembang Jaya sub-district, Solok district. This composition includes in illustration music that explores the sounds of nature at dawn such as river sound, cicada’s sound, rooster’s sound, vehicle sound, the sound of people’s reciting verses in Quran, and Shal

The dominant issue in Myanmar throughout 2010 was the elections finally held on November 7. These were the culmination of the ruling junta's roadmap toward "disciplined democracy" but were neither free nor fair. A major development the same month was the release from house arrest of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, which drew worldwide attention. Myanmar's economy continued to underperform.

Munida subrugosa and M. gregaria are very abundant in the southern hemisphere, especially off New Zealand and South America. The specific identity of both species is still controversial and accurate identification is needed for conservation or ecological purposes. In this study we used univariate and multivariate methods to determine the morphological differences between both species/morphs. Analyses of covariance of ten morphological variables regressed individually on the carapace length demonstrated that the carapace (including rostrum) and eyestalks (EL) were longer, and the anterior carap
