Diethylcarbamazine (DEC) is an inhibitor of lipoxygenase, with protective effects in several experimental models of anaphylaxis and lung dysfunction. The hypothesis of this study was that DEC would alter the pulmonary response to endotoxin infusion, especially the prolonged pulmonary hypertension, leukopenia, hypoxemia, and high flow of protein-rich lung lymph. In this work I present a 23Na/51V-NMR study of sodium vanadate as pure compound, and the influence of very small amounts of Sodium substitution by Calcium and Lithium is reported and discussed. โรคเท้าช้าง (Lymphatic filariasis) เกิดจากหนอนพยาธิ 2 ชนิดหลักคือ Wuchereria bancrofti และ Brugia malayi ทางองค์การอนามัยโลกได้กำหนดให้โรคเท้าช้างเป็นโรคทางปรสิตที่ควรกำจัดให้หมดไปภายในปี พ.ศ. 2563 โดยมีแนวทางหลักในการควบคุมและป้องกันโรคเท้าช้างคือการจัดให้มีโปรแกรมการรักษาแบบหมู่ โดยให้ยา diethylcarbamazine (DEC) ร่วมกับยา albendazole แก่ประชากรในพื้นที่ที่มีความชุกของโรคสูง และการควบคุมพยาธิภาวะ ปัญหาที่สำคัญของการรักษาโรคเท้าช้างคือ การใช้ยา DEC ที่ก่อให้เกิดปฏิกิริยาหลังการรักษา กลไกของการเกิดพยาธิสภาพของโรคและการเกิดปฏิกิริยาหลังการรักษายังไม่เป็นที่ทราบแน่ชัดได้ จึงเป็นอุปสรรคที่สำคัญอย่

Thin films of bacterial cellulose (BC) from nata de coco culture system were developed, characterized and investigated for the growth of human keratinocytes and fobroblasts. The average pore diameter and total surface area of the dried BC films estimated by BET were 224 [aungstrom] degree Celsius A and 12.62 m[superscript 2] /g, respectively. With the film thickness 0f 0.12 mm, the average tensile strength and break strain of the dried films were 5.21 MPa and 3.75 % while those of the wet films were 1.56 MPa and 8.00 %, respectively.
