INTRODUCTION: Adult cervical deformity patients can have significant impact on quality of life. Realignment surgery has proven to be effective in a select group of these patients, however despite advancements in the field, complications are not uncommon. Evaluation of outcomes overtime can be insightful on aspects that surgeons have been improving on and those that remain to be a nuance. METHODS: Adult Cervical Deformity(ACD) patients with a minimum 2-year follow-up and less than 10 levels fused were included. In the prethrombolytic era, ventricular septal rupture (VSR) complicated 1%–3% of all acute myocardial infarctions (AMIs). However, since the introduction of reperfusion therapy, the incidence of VSR has decreased, complicating 0.17%–0.31% of AMIs. Despite a reduction in incidence, mortality of patients with VSR remains high (41%–80%). It is important to identify this rare, but lethal complication at the earliest, as it is associated with high morbidity and mortality. Even with early diagnosis, the survival rate is not good. The management of this fatal complication is also a topic of debate.

The aim of this study is to evaluate blood coagulation changes in Ph positive chronic myeloid leukemia (Ph + CML) patients undergoing allogeneic bone marrow transplantation (BMT), T-depleted with the monoclonal antibody Campath 1, and to find a possible correlation between changes of procoagulant proteins, physiological inhibitors and venoclusive disease (VOD). VOD is a major complication in, the early period following BMT.Out of 13 patients, two of them developed VOD. Introduction: Puerperal mastitis is an inflammatory process of the mammary gland that affects women during lactation, due to stasis in the mammary ducts. The clinical findings vary from focal inflammation to abscesses when not treated early. Additional complications may arise, such as tissue loss by necrosis, leading to the appearance of opportunistic diseases. Myiasis consists of appearance of fly larvae in these tissues, a rare condition in humans. When in cutaneomucosal area, there are complaints of intense pruritus and local pain. Abstract:
Delirium is the leading complication in hospitalized older adults associated with increased mortality, adverse inpatient outcomes, and decreased functionality (McCusker et al., 2003). Delirium is a syndrome with various presentations, it can occur over a brief period, and patients may exhibit hallucinations or violence unpredictably (Tomlinson et al., 2017). Prevalence of delirium varies greatly secondary to patient demographics and comorbidities; the elderly and individuals with multiple chronic disease processes have an increased risk for inpatient delirium (Fuchs et al., 2020). Considering the significance of cardiovascular complications in these patients, prediction of such events would be important. In the last decade, the annual incidence of type 1 diabetes in children has shown a significant increase both in Russia and around the world. According to the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), it is increasing by 3% per year. In addition, in all European countries there is a "phenomenon of rejuvenation of diabetes" - an increase in the proportion of children who first fell ill with type 1 diabetes at a young

Abstract:
Approximately 28,000 maternal deaths occur every year in Bangladesh due to pregnancy and delivery-related complications, while many more women suffer major physical and psychological injuries. Available statistics indicate an increase in menstrual regulation (MR) and abortions, most performed by untrained practitioners under unhygienic conditions. Introducing emergency contraception (EC) in the national family planning (FP) program in Bangladesh could substantially reduce unwanted pregnancies and as result MR/abortions should also decrease. Because MR/abortions in Bangladesh significantly cont
