Abstract:

The article is devoted to imagery, one of the fields of modern comparative studies. The research is based on the epos "Kitabi-Dada Gorgud". The prototype of historical figures is determined in the saga. Against the background of these historical figures and events that took place within the historical time, the issues of "one's own" and others are clarified. The historical roots of the conflicts between the Oghuzs and the event of their expression in the saga are clarified with the images of the enemy, such as "Kipchak Malik", "Shoklu Malik", "Black-robed infidels", "Black Takur". Abstract:

National affiliation of ancient Sumerian language is one of problematic problems create serious conflict in the world linguistics. These are the serious fact putan end to conflicts modern Turkic languages ancient Sumerian and dialect of the comparative investigation. The historical dialectological facts is shows being specific place all-Turkish languages and dialects between the dialects of Nakhchivan and Eastern Anatoly. The efficient situation in the dialects modern Nakhchivan and Eastren Anatolyan dialects is one of defining basic factors of the ancient Sumerian language Orhon inscriptions, eposes of the "Kitabi Dede Korkut", in the İbn Muhenna dictionary, in the "Oğuzname", in the work "Divany lugat-it Türk", of the Turkish folk-lore, the century XIX of the literary works and modern Turk dialects classic until words developed is one of defining basic factors position the between all-Turkish dialect and dialects of the Nakhchivan and Eastren Anadolyan dialects. The comparison Sumerian language of the Nakhchivan and Eastern Anatolyan dialects is being affirms of the dictionaries prepared on the basis of the ancient Turkish language.The phonetic, lexical facts be reflected of the ancient Sumerian language in the works Sturtevantin "A Hittite Glossory ve Suppelment to a Hittite Glossary" and the work “The historical connection of the Sumer and Turkic languages by about age of the Turkish” Osman Nedim Tunaʼs, “The Sumerian language is decisively the Turkish” and the work A.Caliloğluʼs to work according to with elucidating passed up to this day and the comparison Nakhcivan and Anatolyan dialects affirms being the most ancient language of the Turkish. Many words in the ancient Sumerian language involves for the attention by the same phonetic composition and semantic meaning adjoining by dialects of Nakhchivan and Anatoly dialects by words in the language of the other ancient Turk monuments: yağı, yu, kul, yığın, yig, çağa, çak, köğüs, gid, fani, yogun, qalın, tügün, bağlam, çin, doğru, eke, üz, kəsmək, süz, tuş, öl, teηri, taη, neη, isig, azuk, sürüg, asgu, kapkacak, kaç, kuru, neme, korı, toku, togıra, dengüş, zevzek, dingilde, cengel, qaqa//qağa, gim, kalıη, ku, öbür and other. Abstract:

The article is devoted to several monuments of the Turkish folklore and literature the formation of which dates back to the time of Seljukids in Asia Minor: “The Book of Dede Korkut”, “The Story of Seyyid Battal” (“Battal-nameh”, or “Seyyid Battal gazavatnamesi”) and “The Tale of Melik Danishmend” (“Danishmend-nameh”).“Kitab-i dedem Korkut”, The Book of Dede Korkut”…is the only medieval epic of the Turkic peoples which has remained in written form until today. “The Book of “The Book of Dede Korkut” according to the Dresden manuscript consists of twelve songs-legends (and according to the Vatican manuscript – of six tales which have been called oguznameh), which tell of the Oghuz heroes’ deeds. The main plot which core is framed by these stories, is the struggle of the Oghuz tribes against the infidels, non-Muslims in the lands of Asia Minor and Transcaucasia, as well as strife among the Oghuz themselves. This text reflects both the events of early Turkic semi-legendary history (not only historical facts, but also a set of mythological beliefs) and later events connected with the spread of their power in Asia Minor and with their contacts with Byzantium. The stories that comprise ““The Book of Dede Korkut” display a clear connection with both the common Turkic literary and folk tradition and more recent strata.Battal-nаmeh and Danishmend-nameh both are monuments of a written epos within the boundaries of oral recently some legends related to the Oghuz epic (both “The story of Battal” and some tales from “The Book of Dede Korkut”) have continued to exist in oral and literal form on the territories of modern Turkey and Transcaucasia.

Abstract:

Recently published in the academic publishing house “Oriental Literature” under the heading of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, T.A. Anikeeva’s monograph is dedicated to the only monument of the book epic of the Oghuz Turks – “The book of my grandfather Korkut”. The main plot-forming core around which the twelve legends of this epic are grouped is the struggle of the Turks against non-Muslims in the lands of Asia Minor, as well as numerous feuds among the Oghuz themselves. Both the addition of legends and their cyclization took quite a long time, approximately from the IX – X centuries (when the Oghuz tribes had just begun their migration to the West from Central Asia) until their written fixation, which occurred much later. Thus, the “Kitab-i dedem Korkut” can be considered one of the most important sources on the social and cultural life of the Oghuz Turks in the Middle Ages. According to T.A. Anikeeva, “in the «Book of my grandfather Korkut» reflected the events of the early Turkic semi-legendary history, and later, associated with the spread of their power in Asia Minor and contacts with Byzantium”.
