Abstract:
Construction delays are a global phenomenon. Factors causing construction delays in construction projects differ from country to country, due to different prevailing conditions. The prevailing conditions that could exert an influence on project delivery time are: political, economic, and physical factors as well as level of technological development; management style, and construction techniques. The construction industry is a major player in the economy, generating both employment and wealth. However, many projects experience extensive delays and thereby exceed initial time and cost estimates

When a package is shipped, the customer often requires the delivery to be made within a particular time window or by a deadline. Drug delivery plays a crucial role in the chemotherapeutic treatment of cancerous solid tumours. A drug, no matter how potent, is only truly effective when it can be delivered to all targeted cells. In recent years it has been recognised that the poor response of tumours to chemotherapy is in part due to inadequate drug delivery. Numerous strategies have been developed to overcome this issue. Of particular interest to the present work is the application of ultrasound and cavitation, which has been shown to be capable of enhancing drug delivery in solid tumours. Study 1 which used a two-factors 2 (product type: utilitarian product, hedonic product) by 2 (purchase situation: gift situation, self-use situation) design, investigating the delive

Nevertheless, if the demand continues to decline and companies fail to make the breakthrough, they may explore themselves to a very high degree risk of bankrupt. This research considers a case company that faces large demand fluctuations and rush orders caused by the recession environment. In order to increase the company’s competence, the case company not only continues to create innovative products, but

It has demonstrated its feasibility and economic potential for services involving millions of users. A fundamental challenge is to minimize average finish time, TA, of completing data delivery from a single source to multiple receivers with a constrained capacity for propagating data. When a network has n users and heterogeneous capacity, we have 2n possible deployments in the network, and the problem of finding out the best o

Wholesalers, in order to improve service quality, usually provide distribution services. There are, however, many different kinds of retailers, each of with different business hours, and wholesalers must deliver goods in different time windows. This presents a typical VRPTW problem. On the other hand, vehicles deliver goods at different times, meaning traffic flow will be different, and this affects delivery times. In order to meet the actual demand, we add the time dependen

Abstract:
The Speedy Delivery (SD) waveform does not undergo dispersion in transmission lines. The waveform was first introduced by Dr. Robert Flake in US Patent 6,441,695 B1 issued on August 27, 2002. Use of the SD waveform allows for high precision time domain measurements on transmission lines. High precision time domain reflectometry (TDR) and time domain transmission (TDT) measurements are described. An example measurement is presented. The design of the experimental apparatus is detailed. Voltage bias adjustments are made during measurements to increase the repeatability. Voltage bias adjustments
