Increasing the number of patients at an ophthalmic appointment with chronic eye diseases requires a more detailed analysis of diagnosis and treatment. When analyzing the incidence of patients with chronic blepharitis, the vast majority with demodecous etiology of ocular lesions were revealed. The treatment of eye demodecosis has been sufficiently studied. However, even if patients comply with the recommendations of doctors, if there is a positive trend, there is a high risk of recurrence of this disease. Cattle demodecosis in the Russian Federation is ubiquitous. As a result of studies in the period from 2002–2018 in the Tyumen region it was established that this region is no exception for the spread of demodectic invasion among cattle.
