Full textIn France, ever since the early 2000s, the discourse on medical shortages has become an issue and the geographical accessibility to primary health care has become a matter of public policy and regional planning. As a result of the gradual tightening of the numerus clausus and the attractiveness of the various forms of salaried activities, the decrease in the supply of primary care raises the question of private practitioners turnover. In addition, the fresh graduates in general medicine, who nevertheless chose a private practice, are turning away from vacant surgeries left by their predecessors, and show new expectations in terms of work organization. This thesis focuses on the issue of the liberal general practitioners turnover. It questions the newcomers' loss of interest for traditional exercise pattern from the new-comers, and shows that their generational affiliation is a possible interpretive key to understand the changes at work in the private practice of general medicine. The comparison between two generations of liberal General Practitioners, the incomers and the leavers, has helped to contextualize the choice of exercise of each group from their respective period of installation. While making a distinction between the socio-historical changes that affect the work sphere plus the family and personal world and those related to the medical field, particularly demographic changes, this perspective has shown how anchoring, in a particular context, shapes a specific link to work for a specific generation, and determines how to practice general medicine. Finally, inequalities in primary care available in Franche-Comté have raised issues that are discussed in this thesis as well as the tools given by the government to solve them. It provided the opportunity to question the representations that both generations of General Practitioners have about collective work, especially the balance between the incomers’ expectations who are taking up the craft and the concept of collective work which is supposed to be tomorrow’s mainstream

Full textIn Tunisia, the massification and democratization of higher education have exploded the number of graduates who have employability problems since the early 1980s, this situation was one of the main triggers of the Revolution of January 14, 2011. As in many countries, causing the unemployment Tunisian graduates lies essentially in the phase shift between training (human capital investment), and business needs (investment in employment). This phenomenon does not fail to have significant sociodemographic consequences. Indeed, individuals with insertion difficulties often experience a sense of marginalization or exclusion, including matrimonial transactions (delay their date of couple formation will affect fertility). Graduates eek to developing strategies to escape unemployment to escape unemployment such as emigration, further education especially for girls or business creation if the financial situation allows. The objective of this thesis is to study and understand the interactions between employment and demographic phenomena

Full textThe research aimed at testing the relevance of 10 attributes of social managerial behavior by founding Managing Directors of young biotech companies. These attributes are sourced from observation of social animals (Wilson, Sociobiology, 1975). With the help of 25 in-depth face-to-face interviews with CEO probing their managerial experience and evaluation of the relevance of Wilson’s criteria upon their success, wedemonstrate the constant reference to evolutionary biology allowing a goodunderstanding of successful leadership and governance of biotech start-ups. All references by CEO to analogies between cell and molecular biology and companiesare listed, supporting the comparison of the firm with living organisms. Our work suggests directions for organizational and personal development arising fromthree key sociobiological attributes of noticeable importance in management: cohesion, connectivity, adaptive demography. Sampling restrained to biotech companies does notallow for extension to all young companies, but provides interesting insights intomanagement behavior by all founding CEO. Our results may help reexamine how CEO are creating and managing their teams for abetter collective efficacy

Full textThis study aims to analyze employment, unemployment and their evolution in Algeria from 1966 to 2014 and their socio-demographic point of view. The study of the Algerian workforce has shown that there has been a profound transformation due to demographic and economic events which stand out as milestones such as: the expansion of informal work, women in the workforce, decreasing public sector employment and the collapse of agriculture. The analysis of studies by the ONS show the impact of these elements on the rate of activity. The latter has shown a large increase during periods of crisis and particularlyduring the 1990's.This demand was the result of the increase of population and the development of women in the workforce. Unemployment reached its lowest level in 1984. This reduction is due to low population demand and the political and economic situation in the 1970's. From 1986, unemployment increased and reached its peak in the 1990's. This rise was due to a number of factors: the arrival of the baby-boomers and an increased number of women in the workplace, low petrol prices, and the political and security crisis. From 2000 to 2013 unemployment lessened. In fact, the high price of petrol in this period created a large number of precarious jobs and a drop in demand. From 2014, unemployment increased while the price of petrol fell. This work also studies the marketplace on a local level via 5 communes in wilaya d'Oran. The analysis of the information reveals a strong female participation, almost half of them have tertiary qualifications. That has influenced the total activity which is higher than the national average. Employment is low in the communes with an industrial structure and more important in built-up areas. The study shows that the level of education for first job seekers plays an important role between the employment of men and women: the age of tertiary educated men and women entering their first job is almost equal, where the level of education of men and women is equal or less than the average, women enter the workforce later than men. The study reveals that the level of job-seekers is higher than the national average. The level of unemployment is higher in the labour pool of the communes of wilaya d'Oran
Pham, Ngoc Thanh Tam. "L'offre des soins médicaux dans l'Union Européenne." Thesis, Rennes 1, 2014. http://www.theses.fr/2014REN1G019.
Full textEuropean Union member states have faced growing challenges in health care provision, such as: an aging population, an imbalance between supply and demand for care, and the rising cost of new medical technologies. Physician mobility could be a response to these challenges in the context of the right of free movement of workers within the European Union (EU). This thesis examines the validity of these responses from a typology of countries representing ideal-type health systems in the EU (France, UK, Italy and Romania). If economic variable (amount of compensation) plays a key role in the migration, it is adjusted according to the characteristics of the delivery of health care organizational models of health systems. Noting the diverse response of EU member states to these challenges, the study offers some thoughts on improving the medical migration flows based on the following key elements of European health law: right to freedom of movement of salaried physicians, freedom of establishment and freedom to provide services for physicians in private practice, equivalence of diplomas and coordination of various social security systems
