ENGLISH ABSTRACT: In the Hebrew Bible, there is no wish for a heavenly existence among human beings; God and his angels on the one hand and human beings on the other, normally maintain a safe distance from each other. Divine beings are potentially deadly for humans, and dead humans are the strongest source of impurity that threatens to encroach upon holy places. With the ‘ontological’ transformation in antique Judaism and early Christianity that opened up the possibility of an eternal life in heaven, followed a reversal of the value of death-impurity in a manner that resembles Indian Tantrism;

To judge from sources from the Early Church, this apparent dichotomy posed a serious challenge to the claim of the goodness of God, which had to be defended accordingly. The present article investigates different Early Christian views on the relationship between animals and humans. SUMMARYIn arid and semi arid areas, water is the most limiting factor of crop production. Germination is susceptible to water shortage. Experimentation was undertaken to study the effect of water stress on germination of seeds of three sunflower genotypes (Oro 9, Mirasol and Albena). Six PEG 6000 osmotic constraints were tested (0, -0.4, -0.6, -1, -1.2 and -1.6 MPa). Results showed no significant difference between germination percent of the control and -0.4 MPa treatment and between -0.8, -1 and -1.2 MPa treatments. Germination percent was most reduced at -1.6 MPa (-65%). Mean germination dur

The top-cross hybrids were derived by crossing the above three CMS sources with 12 male parents in a line x tester design. SUMMARY Downy mildew caused by the fungus Plasmopara halstedii is the main disease on sunflower in Bulgaria. In recent years a number of authors have reported the occurrence of new more virulent races of the pathogen. According to other authors these races demonstrate resistance to the fungicides used up to now. This fact is rather alarming and imposes the necessity of annual researches with the aim of following the changes in the downy mildew race variability. In the period 1995-1997 downy mildew isolates were collected from the following locations: Bourgas, Boyanovo, Karnobat, Ognyanovo, Sel

SUMMARY This work was aimed to study, under different levels of radiation intercepted by the plants during the seed filling stage, the relationship between yield and vascularization in three concentric positions of the capitulum. At the end of flowering, we applied shading (to reduce intercepted radiation) and thinning (to increase it) to three culture plots: a shaded plot, a thinned plot and a shaded and thinned plot. One additional untreated plot was used as control. We harvested heads at flowering and at physiological maturity. We delimited on them three positions: outer, middle and inner.
