Abstract:
Herbosomes have been modified liposomes that can encapsulate botanical extracts and medicinal substances, improving stability, bioavailability, and targeted administration in herbal medicine. A ribosome or similar drug delivery system can improve the absorption rate and amount of drug that cross the lipoidal biofilm, thus overcoming bioavailability issues. Herbosomes, which are herbal drugs based on phospholipids, offer better stability and absorption profiles than other drug delivery systems. Many critical hepatoprotective phytoconstituents, including xanthones, terpenes, and flavones, play roles in effective medication delivery. To achieve therapeutic purposes, such as cardiovascular, antibacterial, dermatological, neurological, anti-inflammatory, chemotherapy for cancer, and health as nutraceuticals, herbosomes can be produced. Twelve characterization procedures and analytical techniques can be adjusted for innovative formulation through particle size evaluation, membrane permeability, percentage entrapped solutes, and drug release. Herbosomes can be used in dentifrices, medicinal gels, and other local delivery methods. In light of rising concerns about medication dependency and safety, and where modern medicine fails to address complex illnesses, people choose traditional treatments with modern technology, such as nano-formulation, for better outcomes with no side effects and a goal to target spot.

Abstract:
In the United States (U.S.), the COVID-19 outbreak is still ongoing. As a result, medical professionals are increasingly turning to new forms of technology and innovation to provide therapy to patients requiring medical assistance. This pattern is anticipated to maintain its prevalence well into the foreseeable future. The standard wait time for a new patient to be seen by a dermatologist in the United States is 33 days; however, the standard wait time in rural areas is 96 days. By conducting a content analysis of the pertinent published literature, this research aims to study the potential of telemedicine technology to serve the growing demand for dermatology among patients. Tele-dermatology is a crucial tool to expand healthcare access and reduce health disparities by enabling timely and equitable dermatological care, especially in underserved and remote areas through emerging and innovative healthcare technologies.

Abstract This chapter reviews the medical anthropology of tattooing from prehistoric to modern applications. The tattooing found on the 5,300-year-old Tyrolean frozen mummy called the “Iceman” is among the earliest evidence there is that tattooing was used to treat illness—notably, it may have alleviated the pain the Iceman likely suffered from arthrosis, biliary calculi, Lyme disease, or the prolonged use of the bow. Radiological studies have highlighted the direct relationship between lesion and cure, and the multispectral photography technique used to map the Iceman’s tattoos illuminated marks not otherwise visible. The chapter examines the cross-cultural use of tattooing for therapeutic and medical purposes, recent studies of how tattooing may prime the body’s healthy immune and endocrine responses, and dermatological and behavioral risk studies associated with tattooing. Finally, it advocates for newer research perspectives that consider tattooing forms as diverse, prosocial cultural practices with the potential to heal.

Abstract:
Environmental toxins represent a diverse category of hazardous substances encountered outside controlled pharmaceutical contexts, often producing distinctive toxicity patterns requiring specialized recognition and management. Heavy metal exposures include lead poisoning, with its neurodevelopmental effects in children and multisystem impacts in adults, requiring chelation therapy in severe cases. Arsenic toxicity presents with gastrointestinal, dermatological, and neurological manifestations alongside characteristic findings like Mees lines and garlic breath. Mercury exists in elemental, inorganic, and organic forms, each with unique toxicokinetics and target organ effects, particularly neurological and renal systems. Pesticide exposures vary by chemical class, with organophosphates and carbamates inhibiting acetylcholinesterase to produce cholinergic crisis requiring atropine and pralidoxime therapy. Pyrethroid insecticides primarily cause dermal and respiratory irritation, while organochlorine compounds produce CNS excitation and seizures. Industrial chemicals like cyanide rapidly inhibit cellular respiration, necessitating immediate hydroxocobalamin or sodium thiosulfate administration, while corrosives cause direct tissue damage requiring careful supportive care without neutralization attempts. Air pollutants include carbon monoxide, with its deceptive presentation and high mortality without prompt oxygen therapy, and irritant gases that produce progressive respiratory compromise potentially leading to delayed pulmonary edema. Management principles emphasize rapid identification, decontamination, specific antidotes where available, and supportive care addressing the unique pathophysiology of each environmental toxin.

Abstract:
All countries are concerned about meeting the growing demands of the human population in terms of agricultural output in a timely manner. Biosurfactants are substances that bacteria, yeasts and fungus are said to create as green surfactants which are less harmful and environmentally compassionate. Several forms of biosurfactants could be commercialised for use in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and food industries. Surface active molecules are frequently utilised in agricultural soil remediation to improve soil quality. In recent years, the chemical compounds have gotten a lot of attention because they're seen as a viable and environmentally benign alternative to traditional remedial solutions. The bio molecules which showed the potential to replace the harsh surfactants currently utilised in the multibillion-dollar pesticide industry. The microbial population is screened for biosurfactant synthesis using traditional methods. The modern civilization is confronted with a number of issues in terms of enforcing environmental protection, implementation and addressing climate change for future generation. As a result, studies on environmental safety and human are being carried out in order to improve the efficiency of sustainable environmental restoration methods. Cosmetics, medicines, food, petroleum, agriculture, textiles and wastewater treatment are just a few of the areas where biosurfactants have been shown to be successful and efficient. Improved plant pathogen management, antibacterial activity, antibiofilm activity, seed protection and fertility, wound healing and dermatological care, drug delivery systems, and anticancer treatments are just a few of the applications for microbial produced biosurfactants. This study emphasizes the widespread utilize of harsh surfactants in the agrochemical industry and agricultural soil. More research is needed to determine the possible relevance of biosurfactants produced from environmental isolates in plant growth improvement and other agricultural applications.

To protect the epidermis during selected dermatological laser surgeries, Cryogen Spray Cooling (CSC) is used as an auxiliary procedure to remove the heat generated in the epidermis by laser irradiation. The impingement of cryogen droplets onto the skin determines not only the effective amount of cryogen deposited on the surface, but also the dynamic behavior of the cryogen layer that forms on the skin surface and thus, it strongly affects the heat extraction process. Recently, it has been shown that the force of the spray alters the skin surface producing an indentation that in turn affects CS
