Abstract:
Textbooks in formal education are a very important tool for the implementation of programs. It also plays a major role in achieving the objectives of the programs. The success of foreign language education in formal education is achieved through books used among other factors. Some individuals who learn Arabic as a foreign language in our country are often looking for problems in learning Arabic in Arabic textbooks in formal education. With this research, determination of these problems and solutions were sought. The research is concerned with the evaluation of the textbooks used in grades 2-8 in the 2018-2019 academic year from the eyes of prospective teachers. 76 prospective teachers who attended 3rd and 4th grades at Gazi University participated in the study. As a result of the research, the idea of developing Arabic textbooks in terms of internal and external structure was dominant. It was suggested that the books should be complementary and that listening, reading, speaking and writing skills would be improved. ​Extended English summary is in the end of Full Text PDF (TURKISH) file. Özet Örgün eğitimdeki ders kitapları, programların uygulanması için çok önemli bir araçtır. Programların hedeflerine ulaşmasında da büyük rol oynamaktadır. Örgün eğitimdeki yabancı dil eğitiminin başarılı olması diğer etkenlerin yanı sıra kullanılan kitaplar sayesinde olmaktadır. Ülkemizde Arapçayı yabancı dil olarak öğrenen bazı bireyler de Arapçayı öğrenmedeki sorunları çoğunlukla örgün öğretimdeki Arapça ders kitaplarında aramaktadırlar. Bu araştırmayla söz konusu sorunların tespiti ve çözüm yolları aranmıştır. Araştırma 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılındaki 2-8 sınıflarda kullanılan ders kitaplarını öğretmen adaylarının gözünden değerlendirilmesi ile ilgilidir. Araştırmaya söz konusu eğitim öğretim yılında Gazi Üniversitesi’ndeki 3. ve 4. sınıflarda öğrenim görmek olan 76 öğretmen adayı katılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda Arapça ders kitaplarının iç ve dış yapı bakımından geliştirilmesi görüşü hâkim olmuştur. Kitapların birbirlerini tamamlar nitelikte olması, dinleme, okuma, konuşma ve yazma becerilerinin geliştirilmesi önerilmiştir.

Abstract:
Bu araştırmanın amacı, 2018 Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programı’nda yer alan küresel bağlantılar öğrenme alanının sosyal bilgiler ders kitaplarına yansımalarını ortaya koymaktır. Küresel bağlantılar öğrenme alanının yansımalarını incelemek ve değerlendirmek için doküman incelemesi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Ders kitapları, betimsel analiz yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuçları, incelenen ders kitaplarında küresel konuların daha çok Türkiye eksenli işlendiğini göstermektedir. Ayrıca dünyada insanların birbirinin tanımasının önündeki en büyük engellerden biri olan kalıp yargılar sorunu, 4. ve 7. sınıflarda işlenmiştir. 4. sınıfta daha çok kültürel farklılıklar vurgusuyla ele alınan kalıp yargılar, 7. sınıfta İslamofobi ve ırkçılık kavramlarıyla birlikte sunulmuştur. Son olarak birlikte küresel bağlantılar öğrenme alanında daha fazla yer alması beklenen küresel sorunlar ve onlara karşı çözümler üretecek küresel vatandaşlık tipinin, yalnızca 7. sınıfta dolaylı olarak ele alındığı görülmektedir.

Abstract:
<p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>Students' history reading and learning materials are not limited to school history textbooks. One of the tools of history learning is trade books. Trade books are one of the important materials that can influence the shaping of the students' knowledge and consciousness of history. The purpose of this study is to determine the opinions of authors on published trade history books for students. This study was designed as a qualitative one. The participant group of the study consisted of six authors who write trade books for students. In this study, the criterion sampling method was used as one of the ways of purposeful sampling to specify the study group. The data were collected with a questionnaire consisting of open-ended questions. The data obtained were analyzed by using the descriptive analysis technique. According to the findings of the study, it was observed that the participants emphasized the use of scientific and reliable sources as the criteria they considered while writing a book. The participants think that books can help students to enrich their knowledge, make learning easier, contribute to reading, and increase interest in history. It was determined that the participants' opinions about the difficulties they encountered in writing the books varied. Half of the participants stated that in history trade books, there are problems such as exaggerated expressions and interpretations, diversion from academic historicism, misinformation. In terms of the features that should be included in a qualified trade history book written for the students; it has been determined that books emphasize the importance of being unbiased, written, entertaining, intriguing, with the right information.</p><p><strong>Öz</strong></p><p>Öğrencilerin tarih okuma ve öğrenme materyalleri sadece okuldaki tarih ders kitapları ile sınırlı değildir. Tarih öğrenmenin araçlarından biri de ticari kitaplardır. Ticari kitaplar öğrencilerin tarih bilgisinin ve bilincinin şekillenmesine etki edebilecek önemli materyallerden biridir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğrencilere yönelik yayımlanan ticari tarih kitaplarına ilişkin yazarların görüşlerini belirlemektir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcı grubunu öğrencilere yönelik ticari kitap yazan altı yazar oluşturmuştur. Katılımcıların belirlenmesinde amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden, ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veriler, açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan bir anket ile toplanmış ve elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz tekniği ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre, katılımcıların kitap yazarken dikkate aldıkları kriter olarak, bilimsel ve güvenilir kaynaklardan yararlanılması konusuna daha çok vurgu yaptıkları görülmüştür. Katılımcılar, kitapların öğrencilere; bilgilerini zenginleştirme, öğrenmeyi kolaylaştırma, okumaya katkıda bulunma, tarihe ilgiyi artırma konusunda yarar sağlayabileceğini düşünmektedir. Katılımcıların, kitapları yazarken karşılaştıkları zorluklar ile ilgili görüşlerinin ise çeşitlilik gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Katılımcıların yarısı ticari tarih kitaplarında; abartılı anlatım ve yorumların olması, akademik tarihçilikten uzaklaşılması, bilgi yanlışlarının olması gibi sorunların olduğunu ifade etmiştir. Öğrencilere yönelik yazılan nitelikli bir ticari tarih kitabında bulunması gereken özellikler konusunda; kitapların doğru bilgilerle tarafsız yazılması, eğlenceli, ilgi çekici, merak uyandırıcı olması gerektiğine ilişkin görüşün daha çok vurgulandığı tespit edilmiştir.</p>

Abstract:
Abstract   The purpose of this study is to provide a detailed description of the way fractions are processed in Turkish and Swedish mathematics textbooks. For our investigation of textbooks, we used several theoretical notions  such us different ways of understanding fractions (part-whole, ratio, measure, quotient, decimal and operator), representations (treatment, conversion), making distinctions between routine tasks and problems, classifying contexts of examples and problems in terms of real-life situations, semi-realities, and pure mathematics, and about texts narrative and paradigmatic styles.   Through our analyses of these three textbooks, we have come to a result that shows similarities and differences among the textbooks, regarding the topics included and their sequencing, how the concept of fractions is represented in exercises and examples. The findings are emphasized with figures, tables and diagrams that illustrate the similarities and differences between mathematics textbooks inTurkeyinSwedenas well as the textbooks’ development in Turkey.
Abstrakt   Syftet med denna studie är att ge en detaljerad beskrivning av hur bråk behandlas i turkiska och svenska läroböcker för matematik. I vår undersökning, använde vi flera teoretiska begrepp såsom olika sätt att förstå bråk (del-helhet, förhållande, mått, kvot, decimaltal och operator), representationer (behandling, omvandling), att skilja på rutinuppgifter och problem, att klassificera exempel och uppgifters kontexter i termer av verkliga situationer, semi-verkligheter, och ren matematik, och om texters berättande och paradigmatiska stilar.   Genom våra analyser av dessa tre läroböcker, har vi kommit fram till ett resultat som visar både likheter och skillnader mellan dem, både vad gäller de ingående ämnena och deras sekvensering och hur begreppet bråk har representerats i övningar och exempel. Resultaten beskrivs med bilder, tabeller och diagram som illustrerar likheter och skillnader mellan matematikläroböcker i Turkiet och Sverige och dessutom visar läroböckernas utveckling i Turkiet.
