Abstract:
PurposeThis study aims to analyse current practices and cooperation between the Turkish university libraries related to cataloguing processes and present cataloguing librarians’ evaluations about clarity and comprehensiveness of the given information in library catalogues.Design/methodology/approachIn line with the literature review, a Web-based questionnaire was developed concerning the cataloguing practices implemented at university libraries in Turkey. The questionnaire was submitted to 316 cataloguing librarians. In all, 104 cataloguing librarians from 61 different libraries responded to the survey. The collected data were analysed through descriptive statistics. The responses given to some open-ended questions were assessed with respective expressions presented verbatim in the study and some of them visualised via VOSViewer software.FindingsThe findings reflect that analysed university libraries implement different cataloguing processes. It is seen that some libraries use the necessary systems and services related to cataloguing and classification while others use individual solutions without using such systems and services. Findings reveal that there is cooperation between the analysed libraries about sharing catalogue records. In this regard, it is understood that cataloguing librarians mostly prefer transferring catalogue records from the catalogues of university libraries they trusted. Findings also indicate that analysed librarians think that the descriptive information provided via Online Public Access Catalogues are in moderate level in terms of clarity and comprehensibility.Originality/valueThe study contributes to the existing literature of a limited number of relevant studies by establishing the baseline pertaining to cataloguing processes undertaken at university libraries in Turkey.

Abstract:
Research indicates that feedback given to teacher trainees is often vague and incomplete. Frequently the feedback fails to provide specific strategies designed to improve subsequent teaching performances. This investigation developed a taxonomy of feedback strategies based on the content of data-based feedback provided by teacher educators to teacher trainees in peer teaching. Strategies were categorized to correspond with specific data situations frequently observed in the lessons. A discussion of the rationale for the strategies, coupled with descriptive data on the frequency of strategy selection, revealed much about the interpretive model that teacher educators may superimpose on data. Additional study on the empirical validation of the taxonomy is warranted subsequent to this descriptive/logical point of departure.

Abstract:
The Herbert Sondheim, Inc. scrapbooks in the New School Archives and Special Collections document the activities of a notable early to mid-20th-century New York-based manufacturer of ready-to-wear women's fashions. A precursor to the contemporary fast fashion industry, Sondheim's employees sketched and kept detailed notes on materials and construction of garments produced by Parisian designers, which the firm then adapted into more affordable and easily obtainable apparel for American consumers. A retrospective visual materials cataloguing project resulting from a graduate student's interest in the collection led to the online availability of over 1200 sketches of fashion adaptations and challenged archives staff to develop appropriate descriptive metadata for a fragmented, ambiguous and complex documentary record.

Abstract:
Nowadays in digital information environments, various types of resources coexist with heterogeneous metadata formats and standards and efforts have been made to achieve interoperability in order to use multiple metadata standards and reuse metadata records by developing strategies, which range from simple mappings among metadata elements to complex structural modeling. Dealing with information resources requires a description of form and machine readable content with results that are understandable to humans and can meet the interoperability requirements between information environments. Considering this, this research proposes a reflection and suggests the development of an architecture for semantic bibliographic descriptions that ensures interoperability in digital information environments. By using exploratory and descriptive analysis, we found that Descriptive Cataloguing methodologies and a bibliographic ontology description, explained in the rules and codes of cataloguing and in metadata standards, redesign the development of better structured new digital information environments to retrieve information and effectively establish interoperability.

Abstract:
A first international conference on retrospective cataloguing, which took place in Munich in 1990, considered reports on retrospective cataloguing in a wide range of European countries and in North America. The conference sessions confirmed that the conversion of the catalogues of research collections into machine-readable form has a high priority in most of Europe, but also that many barriers hamper the transborder exchange of descriptive information about holdings of older books in European research collections. It was agreed that a mechanism was desirable for ensuring the compatibility of existing or proposed formats or the conversion of one format to another and that the costs involved should be established, so that a common pool of records could be created and unnecessary duplication of effort thereby avoided. A European Working Group on Retrospective Cataloguing was set up with the aim of enabling access to significant databases of records for printed materials (1500–1900) throughout Europe and to other countries that might wish to have access to European records.

Abstract:
Canadian visual resources professionals believe a national strategy would raise the profile of their group who, although well known elsewhere, are not well known in Canada. Technology has made networking to share cataloguing and participation in electronic communications feasible, but many libraries do not have access to national utilities. Although digital capture and interactive electronic image storage and retrieval hold great promise for visual resources, there is a need for funding for retrospective conversion, imaging and the like. Networking makes authority work more important than it has been: a national strategy should include the formulation of a Canadian artist authority tool. Canadian iconography must be a component of any tools developed to describe art objects and their surrogates. In cooperation with CHIN Canadian art archivists and librarians must develop international standards for descriptive cataloguing. In addition, pressure must be brought to bear to end restrictive copyright for library users.

Abstract:
Academic library automation is germane to achieving the main objectives of setting it. Development of Information Communications and Technology is playing a crucial role in the restructuring of libraries. Shift from human dependent operations to machine dependency, mechanization (data processing) to knowledge processing, and astand-alone system to network computing. This study is majorly designed to evaluate the automated applications deployed and used in the selected academic library and to determine the influence of them on the cataloguing and classification in the academic library. The study adopted the descriptive survey research design. The purposive sampling technique was used to select a total of 75 respondents, out of which only 67 copies were retrieved and used for data analysis. The descriptive frequency counts and percentages were used to analyse and answer the three (2) formulated research questions. The following are some of the applications in cataloguing section: computer, local area network, internet connectivity, servers, printers, and bar code readers. The influence of automation in the selected academic libraries cannot be overemphasized. The extent of the influence includes positive and negative; however, the positive influence overruled the negative ones. The positive ones include the facts that: it has helped improve interpersonal relationship; cataloguers are more satisfied with their jobs; there is improved cooperation in the library; cataloguers feel like professionals even when they are yet to be one; their self-esteem is being boosted, thereby making them feel important; library para-professional routines become more routine and less flexible; and that it makes a whole lot of difference with respect to cataloguing. The negative influence includes the fact that automation results in some health hazard like technostress as a result of sitting for long. Recommendations were made, based on the findings that; automation grants should be made available to academic libraries so as to make them fully automated in all their activities; libraries that are yet to imbibe automation should do so as digitisation has become the growing trend in the world today, more importantly, because of its numerous benefits.

Abstract:
Abstract Background: One of the major objectives of the Multiple Sclerosis Data Alliance (MSDA) is to enable better discovery of multiple sclerosis (MS) real-world data (RWD). Methods: We implemented the MSDA Catalogue, which is available worldwide. The current version of the MSDA Catalogue collects descriptive information on governance, purpose, inclusion criteria, procedures for data quality control, and how and which data are collected, including the use of e-health technologies and data on collection of COVID-19 variables. The current cataloguing procedure is performed in several manual steps, securing an effective catalogue. Results: Herein we summarize the status of the MSDA Catalogue as of January 6, 2021. To date, 38 data sources across five continents are included in the MSDA Catalogue. These data sources differ in purpose, maturity, and variables collected, but this landscaping effort shows that there is substantial alignment on some domains. The MSDA Catalogue shows that personal data and basic disease data are the most collected categories of variables, whereas data on fatigue measurements and cognition scales are the least collected in MS registries/cohorts. Conclusions: The Web-based MSDA Catalogue provides strategic overview and allows authorized end users to browse metadata profiles of data cohorts and data sources. There are many existing and arising RWD sources in MS. Detailed cataloguing of MS RWD is a first and useful step toward reducing the time needed to discover MS RWD sets and promoting collaboration.

Abstract:
AbstractFrom the early descriptive work, focussed on documenting the forest insect fauna and the impacts of destructive species, Canadian forest entomology has passed through several distinct phases, each triggered by new societal demands of forests and of forest entomologists. We review the various stages that Canadian forest entomology gone through in the last 100 years. Following the initial descriptive and cataloguing phase, forest entomology entered a pest control or forest protection phase, which eventually evolved into the integrated pest management (IPM) era. Although IPM dominated the forest entomology discourse for at least two decades, this approach is now considered to be narrow and pest-centric and is being superseded by a more holistic approach where the emphasis is on ensuring the health and sustainability of forests at landscape levels. The new trends point away from the “command and control” approach of attempting to eradicate pests or reducing pest damage, and towards working with natural processes in the context of ecosystem management. We indicate several areas where 21st century forest entomology could make a contribution towards the sustainable management of Canadian forests.

Scientific and technical report is an important document type with high intelligence value. But the resource distribution of different carrier forms of scientific and technical report is not integrated and the resource description is not deeply and specific enough to the report document type, which influences the information searching accuracy and efficiency for users. Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records (FRBR), an emerging model in the bibliographic domain, provides interesting possibilities in terms of cataloguing, representation and semantic enrichment of bibliographic data. This study employs the FRBR conceptual model and entity-relationship analysis method to design in-depth descriptive metadata schema of scientific and technical report by analyzing the entities and mapping the bibliographic attributes corresponding to the characteristics of report, which can help to integrating and disclosing scientific and technical report resources.

Abstract:
Abstract Librarianship studies related with descriptive representation or cataloguing has an historic record of specialists meetings trying to establish standards of documents description, related to rules and formats. After 40 years of the Paris Declaration of Principles, in 1961, it started a re-examination of the cataloguing practices and rules, under the responsibility of a study group from the Cataloguing, Classification and Indexing Section of IFLA – International Federation Library Associations and Institutions. The result was the final report: FRBR - Functional requirements for bibliographic records. The FRBR represents a significant improvement in the bibliographic representation area. It was publish in 1982, presenting concepts and definitions of entities, relationships and attributes, giving a new look of the bibliographic object, focalizing users and their actions. The model became the object of theses, dissertations, permanent study groups, seminary issue and a research subject internationally. Proposing different kind of relationships, the FRBR proposed a gathering of similar entities, offering a larger number of options to the user who search for information into the bibliographic records. With all that international discussion and uses as a model for bibliographic software, in Brazil there is not a single record of FRBR been treated as an important issue. This paper presents the FRBR model and some considerations about it, as a proposition for discussion of the bibliographic description future worldwide and the creation of the International Cataloguing Code.

Abstract:
Abstract. The creation of three-dimensional models for the cataloguing and documentation of cultural heritage is today an emerging need in the cultural sphere and, above all, for museums. The cultural heritage is still catalogued and documented based on descriptive files assorted of photographic images which, however, fail to outline its spatial richness, possible only through the use of 3D artefacts. The essay aims to propose a methodology of digitalization by low-cost and easy-to-use systems, to be employed even by non-expert survey and photogrammetry’s operators. The case study of the statue of San Nicola da Tolentino, preserved at the Sant’Agostino complex in Bergamo, offered the possibility of a comparison between 3D models acquired with different digitalization tools (professional/action/amateur cameras and smartphone) and processed by several image-based 3D Reconstruction software and methods.

Abstract:
Purpose Deeni Madaris of Pakistan and their libraries are playing an important role in educating the large fraction of society. They have always been engaged in the development of social and cultural values of the Pakistani society. This study aims to investigate the organization of information resources and their utilization at Deeni Madaris libraries in the central Punjab, Pakistan. Design/methodology/approach Quantitative research approach was adopted for this study. A questionnaire was developed on the bases of related literature and discussions with experts of librarianship as well as Islamic studies in Pakistan. The questionnaire was sent to 49 Deeni Madaris, of which five did not have libraries and four did not respond. Forty (81.6 per cent) Deeni Madaris responded and provided the relevant data about their libraries. The collected data were analyzed through SPSS 22. Mostly descriptive statistics were applied to calculate the frequencies, percentage, means and standard deviations. A two-tailed t-test was applied to check the impact of cataloguing and automation on the use of information resources. Findings It was found that majority of the respondents developed their own classification and cataloguing methods for the organization of information resources and did not have a proper retrieval system. Majority of the respondents were providing lending services to readers. Teachers and final-year students were the key users of the libraries. They mostly referred to books, theses and serials written in Urdu and Arabic language. The situation of library computerization was very weak; only 19 libraries had computers and 11 of them have partially automated the library activities. Library automation and catalogue put positive effects on the use of library resources. Originality/value The exploration of the literature showed that libraries of Madaris in Pakistan have always been a priority, but these libraries did not get a position in the library literature as they deserve. This study will fill this gap.

Abstract:
This paper describes and analyses a hitherto unknown document of considerable historical significance: a narrative diary of the weather for every day of the year 1703. Available evidence enables us to assign the authorship of the document, with a high degree of probability, to an Oxford graduate residing in rural Worcestershire. The text presents plentiful natural philosophical speculations about the causes of meteorological phenomena, drawing both upon the ideas of leading scientific thinkers and upon vernacular lore concerning the weather. Furthermore, the diarist composed a remarkably personal document, in a richly descriptive style, cataloguing his physiological and emotional reactions to prevailing weather conditions. The document thus represents an empathic and discursive style of meteorology, an alternative to the contemporary efforts to establish objective weather records that have previously been recognized by historians.Oft, as he travers'd the coerulean field,And mark'd the Clouds that drove before the wind;Ten thousand glorious systems would he build,Ten thousand great ideas fill'd his mind; But with the clouds they fled, and left no trace behind!James Thomson, The Castle of Indolence (1748).

Abstract:
Nobody doubts the importance of digital influencers when it comes to the selection and acquisition of new products and services. In the specific field of literary reading, literary blogs, booktubers and specialized websites that act as prescribers of reading stand out. This study presents a descriptive research model in which a multivariate analysis of the main sociodemographic characteristics, assessments, readings and activities developed by the 100 most important reading influencers in Spain was carried out. For this purpose, data were taken from the most widely used reading cataloguing platform, i.e. Goodreads. It was found to be mainly about women with a developed reading habit and with an effervescent and extensive experience in literary blogs, thematic social networks, etc. In addition, the results show that the more influencers evolve as readers the more demanding they become more in their assessments, which in turn translates into greater influence. Influencers’ recognition in the platform, therefore, is subject to their reading experience, critical capacity and personal criteria. Finally, it was learned that the canon of authors and works best valued by these relevant users is heterogeneous, although works and authors related to Young Adult Literature and bestsellers predominate to a certain extent.

Abstract:
This research aimed at assessing problems encountered by library users- librarian, staff, students, and teachers- on the different library transactional procedures as basis for the development and design of a Library Management System for Cagayan State University-Piat in the Philippines. The study utilized the descriptive design in determining the degree of seriousness of the problems encountered by the respondents in using the existing library transactions, and the interventions that can be done to address the problems encountered by the respondents. Findings revealed that the problems encountered by the library users in the manual operations of the library in terms of borrowing, returning and searching library materials are “Very Serious”. On the part of the library staff, the issues on security of records, cataloguing, borrowing, returning, searching, inventory of library materials and generation of reports are considered “Serious”. Using Waterfall Model, the system was developed with the aid of software and hardware requirements. The library system developed “very efficiently” stored the library records in the database secured with password, systematically classified the materials, save time in entering information of library materials, displayed for duplication of accession numbers, monitored the borrowed and returned books, systematically displayed inventory of materials, and saved time in generating accurate library reports. It can be concluded that the proposed library system can provide better and easier access to the different transactions in the library and provide convenience to the library staff and library users in the different transactions.

Abstract:
Purpose This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of library services according to user experiences (UXs). The study discusses underlying internal problems existing in libraries that affect user satisfaction. Furthermore, it seeks to identify ways to improve the UX. Design/methodology/approach The methodology comprised a questionnaire administered at Nanjing University Library, China. The survey examined users’ satisfaction with the online public access catalogue, locating books on the shelves, and users’ participation in the organization of library resources. This study used the annual reading quantity of users system, a new system of measurement that distinguishes between informal and avid library users. Findings The data analysis indicated poor user satisfaction. The problems were mainly associated with the libraries’ resource organization, such as descriptive cataloguing, subject headings and classification, which is controlled by library administration. Moreover, users’ feedback is not integrated within the library system. Because of the process-oriented architecture of the current integrated library system, librarians and users do not communicate effectively. These barriers between users and the library staff members are difficult to overcome. Originality/value The study describes that the results relate to user satisfaction with searching and locating books based on the patron’s reading level. Differences were observed between light and avid readers in terms of satisfaction with the ease of searching and finding books. This demonstrates the internal connections of these results with library procedures. Furthermore, this study identifies improvement measures to resolve these problems.

Abstract:
Abstract The information technology has been making possible the development of applications and methodologies of material descriptive treatment, as it is the case of the metadata standards, allowing new practical approaches for the organization of the information, mainly in electronic means. The adoption of metadata standard propitiates the interoperability between applications and sharing of data among systems. Based on that presupposition, a study of the correspondence was accomplished between the Dublin Core standard and the MARC 21 format, seeking to supply subsidies for the development of data conversion tools originating from of the cataloguing. The maximization of efforts in the integration and exchange of data, as well as the systemization of the relationships among those standards propitiate the reuse of metadata sets in the same organization.

Abstract:
Abstract The traditional archive catalogue constitutes a form of structural and descriptive metadata that long precedes the internet; and the cataloguing of photographs is just one part of a process of archival administration. The application of keywords to images contrasts with archival prose description, which is based on the visual content of the image and is predominantly context-free; a remediation of the image itself. At the heart of this lies the notion that the single photograph is itself devoid of context; it is a discrete embodiment of shutter time and there is nothing certain either side of that. Thus, one can only speculate at its context, and institutional description techniques actively avoid such speculation. Yet context in the archive is ever-present and key to the function of images as objects of information and evidence. It is built through static relationships, through the situating of photographs in accordance with the concept of original order, and it is replicated through storage systems and hierarchical catalogue entries. Such orders, hierarchies and relationships are absent within sets of images that are brought together by keyword search, including through the websites of archival institutions that struggle to reconcile archival principles and identity with network culture. Images are transported to places where contextual information is at best difficult to access, especially for those unfamiliar with archival interfaces. In contrast to the controlled stasis of archival storage and interconnected recordkeeping systems, network storage is messy, unstable and poorly described. However, we must accept that context is not a prerequisite for many users, and for them the networking of archival images denotes a freedom; a democratisation of the archive. But in a media-driven society that is becoming more and more indifferent to the evidential value of documents of any kind, the context-free image is left predisposed to exploitation.

Abstract:
In light of the TRC Calls to Action from 2015 and the CFLA’s Truth & Reconciliation Report and Recommendations from 2017, many libraries in what is known as Canada have begun to take steps towards decolonization. Decolonizing bibliographic descriptions in library catalogues is an important part of this process, as this can impact both the ability to access Indigenous materials and the representation of Indigenous Peoples and Knowledges in the library. While various efforts to work towards accurately and respectfully representing Indigenous Peoples and Knowledges in library catalogues are ongoing, the inclusion of Indigenous Syllabics in bibliographic records is one way in which cataloguers can begin to put these efforts into action. In addition to collaborating with Indigenous community members and Indigenous librarians on this work, there are a variety of resources and tools available online that can aid cataloguers in creating accurate and culturally appropriate descriptions of Indigenous materials. This extended abstract provides context and information that is central to this work, and gives a cursory overview of how one might insert Indigenous Syllabics into bibliographic records.

Abstract:
The marginalization of Indigenous Peoples in library catalogues and cataloguing standards is well documented. This article looks beyond Library of Congress Classification to analyze how the marginalization of Indigenous Peoples manifests in Machine Readable Cataloguing (MARC) and online public access catalogs (OPACs) to the detriment of Indigenous users. The rules that govern bibliographic description either obscure the presence of materials in a collection that represent Indigenous worldviews, or do not have the capacity to accurately record demographic terms related to Indigenous Peoples. This leads to inaccurate access points and culturally inappropriate metadata. Examples of projects and institutions innovating in this domain are examined. The harms cataloguers enact through adherence to bibliographic standards deserve critical and ethical analysis. These analyses and innovative projects are first steps towards better serving Indigenous users and reconciliation in libraries in Canada.

Abstract:
The study sought to determine the role that the National Archives of Namibia plays in the management of audio visuals in an attempt to curtail the deterioration of audio-visual archives which are kept in various organisations, some of which are unknown to the National Archives of Namibia. A qualitative method was applied in the study. The case study used the interpretive paradigm which enabled the researcher to triangulate the data collection instruments. Interviews, questionnaires and observation checklists were used to collect data. Content analysis was carried out to analyse data from interviews, document review and the observations. While Excel software provided descriptive statistics on graphs. The results indicated that AV materials were created and stored by various organisations, including the National Archives of Namibia, which oversees the management of all records. The Archives Act (Act 12 of 1992), section 4(1), gives a mandate to the National Archives of Namibia for control over records and archives of all formats in government offices, offices of local authorities and statutory institutions. Nonetheless, there are instances where AV materials are not deposited or stored in appropriate conditions. It is also apparent that different cataloguing and classification systems are used by different organisations. It is clear that most of the organisations manage AV materials in the same way as paper formats records. There is also an inadequately skilled workforce who were given a responsibility to manage AV materials. The study was limited to the Khomas region. Since there are 14 regions in Namibia, the findings cannot be generalized to other regions. Future studies should cover other regions. The results point to the need for the National Archives of Namibia to adopt an integrated approach to the management of AV records. This will require the NAN to work in cooperation with public sector institutions and empower them to preserve AV materials while, at the same time, they continue to deposit copies with the National Archives of Namibia. Unlike previous studies on management of audio visual archives in Namibia, this study included other organisations. The results give a clear picture of the role the National Archives plays in the management of audio visual records and archives.

Abstract:
Purpose This study aims to identify and analyse the challenges faced in the bibliographic control of theses and dissertations in Kenya. Design/methodology/approach The study used descriptive survey method and targeted four universities in Kenya and two initiatives whose objective is compilation of a database of theses and dissertations. The total number of respondents was 17 out of a target of 21. Findings The study found delays in the libraries getting their designated copies; ineffective coordination between the different university departments in the deposition process; deposition of soft copies is still a grey area in the universities surveyed; libraries have embedded records of theses and dissertations in their Online Public Access Catalogues (OPACs); delays in capturing theses and dissertations in the libraries’ OPACs; and lack of consistency and uniformity in the bibliographic records. Research limitations/implications Many universities have joined the electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs) movement and now require graduating students to deposit an electronic copy of their research thesis or dissertation. Currently, universities in Kenya either already have institutional repositories (IRs) or they are at an advanced stage of implementation. There is need for further research on the status adoption of ETDs; the status of IRs; treatment of theses and dissertations (TDs) in Kenya; challenges and prospects of subject analysis of TDs; cost-effective metadata creation for TDs; issues in metadata creation and standardization for TDs; and automated metadata creation. Practical implications Without a comprehensive source of all TDs submitted in universities in Kenya, TDs will be inaccessible and therefore underutilised. There will also be the risk of duplication of research and plagiarism because it will be difficult to ascertain the authenticity and integrity of TDs submitted in the various universities. Originality/value This is the only research in Kenya that has analysed the status of bibliographic control of theses and dissertations. The study will enable university administrators to put in place appropriate policies for improved bibliographic control of theses and dissertations. The study may be used to inform policy frameworks as universities begin to build their institutional repositories. The findings shed light on the treatment of TDs and challenges of cataloguing them.

Abstract:
The World Wide Web Consortium’s Resource Description Framework (RDF) and the library community’s new cataloguing standard, Resource Description and Access (RDA), both profess to provide sophisticated and flexible means of describing resources for modern Web environments. But both have attracted scepticism from potential users, who argue that their supposed innovations are overrated. A comparison of the two standards using Michel Foucault’s theory of discourse formations suggests that while the two standards differ in their community contexts and their use of intermediaries, they are similar to each other in their commitment to consistent, rigorously-defined entities and relationships; this shared commitment sets them apart from Web 2.0 developments, and offers the potential for fruitful collaboration.

Abstract:
This research explored the implementations and perceptions of the Resource Description and Access (RDA) cataloguing standard in Europe. It refers to the development and implementation of the standard among Anglo-American libraries and draws comparisons between them. It examines the spread and application of RDA throughout Europe both by analysing the available literature and by conducting interviews with professionals at 12 European national libraries. The results highlight the issues faced by the European institutions and the unique perspectives that emerge from implementing RDA in different languages and cultures. European institutions demonstrate a higher level of involvement and interest in the development of RDA and a stronger desire to work towards RDA interoperability and alignment with the cultural heritage sector. The European implementation drives forward the internationalisation of RDA by actively seeking solutions to the issues in the new standard arising from the cultural and linguistic diversity.

Abstract:
The article presents the brief analysis of the provisions of RDA new international rules (Resource Description and Access), that determine the choice of language/graphic in bibliographic record. Beginning 2013, RDA rules are being implemented in the U.S. and European libraries and claim the status of International Standard. In Russia there were started preparations for the development of new version of the Russian Cataloguing rules; and in this regard, it is proposed to evaluate the possibility of use of RDA bibliographic description of text in the national practice - either in the form of authentic translation into Russian, or as an adapted methodology of the main provisions.
