In the conditions of universal Informatization, the problem of information security and information protection has significantly worsened. This work provides an overview of the block encryption development. Block cipher - a kind of symmetric cipher. A feature of the block cipher is the processing of a block of several bytes in one iteration. Block cryptosystems break the message text into separate blocks and then convert these blocks using a key. Basic information related to block encryption is presented, and the main analysis options are shown. The possibility of students' research work on th

The numerical manifold method (NMM) is a combination of the finite element method (FEM) and discontinuous deformation analysis (DDA) method. It provides a robust numerical solution to a solid medium with dense discontinuities. This paper extends NMM to the three-dimensional domain based on the 2D fundamentals. The general framework of the 3D NMM is introduced, including the cover geometry patterns (GP) with division structure from hexahedron to tetrahedron, and general formulations based on the virtual work principle. Most of Shipyards have adopted block construction method. In spite of efficiency, this method has been reported lots of problems. Overlap or gap between blocks, such problems are mainly caused by deformation of blocks. The ship’s block is built by thin plates which are processed by cutting and welding, etc. Deformation of block comes from process of plates by cutting and welding in the stage of block assembly. In the stage of block erection, overlapping or gap occurs between block’s parts which are caused by deformation of blocks. So, block accuracy management is the key point to production ef

The grid orientation effect is a long-standing problem plaguing reservoir simulators that employ finite difference schemes. A rotation of the computational grids yields a substantially different solution under certain circumstances. For example, in a five-spot pattern, the predicted recovery, water cut performance and the locations of the fronts depend on the type of grid system used. A Cartesian grid with one axis parallel to the line joining an injector and producer gives a solution significantly different from a grid that has the axes oriented at 45° to this line.
