In the therapeutic practice of a pediatric dentist, the most common form of complication of caries in primary teeth is pulpitis [8, 9, 11]. The choice of treatment method for pulpitis of primary teeth has been and remains at present a completely unresolved problem [2, 3, 10]. The complexity is determined by several factors: difficulties in establishing psychological contact with the child, in collecting anamnesis and carrying out diagnostic measures (including radiographs), when performing local anesthesia and the impossibility of carrying out long-term (more than 30-4

Aim. To analyze the injection anesthesia use frequency in the treatment of primary and permanent teeth pulpitis by paediatric dentists of Republic of Tatarstan, Mari El and Chuvashia according to survey results.
Methods. 202 pediatric dentists participated in questionnaire survey.
Results. 89.55±2.64% of specialists use devital amputation method in Tatarstan, 94.12±2.85% - in other regions. Significantly more doctors use vital extirpation (85.29%) and vital amputation (41.17%) in the permanent teeth treatment in regions than in Tatarstan (69.40 and 25.37%, respectively). 76.47% of

Treatment of complicated caries in children and adolescents has a number of features, which is determined by age-related anatomy and the limited functioning time of temporary teeth, as well as the timing of their root resorption. Today, the treatment of pulpitis of preserved temporary (persistent) teeth is of particular clinical interest. Persistent (delayed) teeth are temporary (baby) teeth that are preserved in the dentition after the physiological time of their replacement and are capable of functioning for 10 years or more. In most cases, the presence of retained temporary teeth is due to

Rectus abdominous myocutaneous and transverse rectus abdominous myocutaneous (TRAM) flaps are increasingly used for breast reconstruction. The navel tends to deviate to one side, mostly in unilateral pedicle cases, when pulled by the muscle closure side. These sequela can be avoided by amputating the umbilicus and reconstructing a new one with a ‘U′-shaped flap or by dragging navels that have a long stalk to the midline. BACKGROUND: Previous studies show that during level walking, the load on the contralateral side increases with more proximal amputation levels. Furthermore, a typical compensation mechanism, vaulting on the contralateral side, may also influence the load. However, no study has compared the load applied to the contralateral side across more than two different amputation levels. OBJECTIVE: The objectives of this study were to analyze the biomechanical impact of different lower limb amputation levels and vaulting on the load applied to the locomotor system. ABSTRACT STUDY DESIGN: Retrospective analysis BACKGROUND: The gait characteristics of transtibial amputees (TTs) have been described many times. In general, the literature reported nearly consistent results for the kinematic and kinetic parameters of the prosthetic side. However, the literature revealed inconsistent findings on kinetic parameters for determining the risk of developing knee osteoarthritis, such as the peak knee adduction moment, knee flexion moment and vertical ground reaction forces. OBJECTIVES: The objective of our study was to describe the sagittal kinetic and kinematic gait
