Sensitivity to aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and also dietary salicylate is an increasingly important and observed phenomenon. The reliable diagnosis of individuals with these disorders is of great importance, given the use of these drugs as a prophylactic medication. Many of the symptoms seen in patients associated with this sensitivity to these drugs include dermatitis, nasal polyps, persistent cough, rhinitis, skin problems, stomach irritation, swelling of face and urticaria are also seen in salicylate intolerance. Para o sucesso das estratégias de manejo de Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus (carrapato bovino) são necessários testes práticos, econômicos e confiáveis que possam detectar a presença de fenótipos resistentes a drogas em suas populações. O fipronil é um acaricida de uso relativamente recente não havendo testes padronizados para o diagnóstico de resistência do carrapato à molécula. No presente trabalho, foram padronizados bioensaios in vitro para esta finalidade: Teste de Imersão de Adultas, Teste de Imersão de Larvas e Teste de Pacote com Larvas. A fototerapia com lasers em baixa intensidade de lesões de herpes simples tem sido demonstrada clinicamente ora prevenindo a formação de vesículas, ora cicatrizando rapidamente as lesões e até aumentando o espaço de tempo entre o aparecimento dessas manifestações recorrentes. No entanto, os mecanismos básicos de ação dos lasers nessas situações são desconhecidos. A partir de données en population, nous avons: 1) évalué le risque de cardiopathies congénitales (CC) chez les fœtus conçus par assistance médicale à la procréation (AMP); et 2) déterminé les effets de l’AMP sur la prise en charge prénatale et le devenir périnatal des fœtus porteurs de CC. Nous avons observé que l'AMP était associée à une augmentation de 40% du risque de CC sans anomalies chromosomiques associées (OR ajusté = 1,4 IC95% 1,1-1,7).
