Abstract:
Diagnostic laparoscopy is the basic procedure in laparoscopic surgery that has wide utility in practice, thus avoiding morbidity associated with open surgery. Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive technique wherein a fibre optic instrument is inserted through the abdominal wall to view the organs in abdomen/pelvis and permit the diagnosis and necessary surgical procedure. Nowadays, almost all general surgical procedures can be performed using minimal invasive techniques. Laparoscopy can be performed both for diagnostic as well as for therapeutic purposes. Hyperparathyroidism (HPT) is an endocrine system disease, which is often divided into primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) and secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT). At present, HPT has gradually become a common disease of endocrine system, and the common treatment is surgical resection of related lesions. Therefore, accurate location and detection are very important for the surgical treatment and prognosis of HPT. Therefore, the author reviews the relevant imaging examination in the field of nuclear medicine to provide help for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Abstract:
Pseudoaneurysms, particularly of the maxillary artery, represent a significant clinical challenge due to their rarity and diagnostic complexity. Pseudoaneurysms arise from a breach in the arterial wall integrity, leading to a confined cavity filled with blood, which communicates with the arterial lumen but lacks the normal wall structure of the artery. These lesions are typically associated with trauma, surgical interventions, inflammatory processes, or atherosclerosis. Research shows that delayed diagnosis of pseudoaneurysms can lead to severe complications, such as massive hemorrhage or thro

Cryobiopsy is an innovative technique used in the diagnosis of various lung diseases, including neoplasms. Unlike conventional bronchoscopic methods, it yields larger and higher-quality tissue samples for histopathological analysis. Compared to surgical lung biopsy, it may offer a safer and more suitable alternative for high-risk patients. The diagnostic yield of the procedure is high, while the incidence of severe or life-threatening complications remains low.

Frozen section is the standard method but is limited by its cost, need of qualified technical staff and the freezing arte facts. Thus, both the techniques have their own limitations and the combination of these two methods helps in achieving high diagnostic accuracy rates. Traumatic pericardial rupture is a rare event with high mortality. We present the case of a 15-year-old boy who sustained thoracic and abdominal trauma secondary to motor vehicle collision, with a delayed diagnosis of traumatic pericardial rupture with cardiac herniation. Out of concern for torsion and hemodynamic collapse, surgical repair was advised. We have developed a novel surgical approach to this rare condition, utilizing a combination of thoracoscopic and open surgical techniques. Vascular traumatic is trauma to the blood vessels caused by blunt injuries such as a hard impact or penetrating injuries such as sharp object injuries, penetrating bullet shots. Massive haemorrhage is the main cause of vascular trauma, resulting in death. Therefore, prompt treatment is needed to avoid other complications or even death due to uncontrolled bleeding. Vascular surgeons are the key to trauma injury patients, by controlling bleeding and vascular reconstruction, using aspects of open and endovascular surgical techniques. Although management paradigms for certain arterial trauma, such as aortic injuries, have moved towards an endovascular approach, the application of endovascular techniques for the treatment of peripheral arterial injuries continues to be debated. In the realm of peripheral vascular trauma, popliteal arterial injuries remain a devastating condition with significant rates of limb loss. Expedient management is essential and surgical revascularization has been the gold standard. Diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) is a rare but extremely malignant central nervous system tumor primarily affecting children that is almost universally fatal with a devastating prognosis of 8-to-12-month median survival time following diagnosis. Traditionally, DIPG has been diagnosed via MR imaging alone and treated with palliative radiation therapy. While performing surgical biopsies for these patients has been controversial, in recent years, advancements have been made in the safety and efficacy of surgical biopsy techniques, utilizing stereotactic, robotics, and intraoperative crania

Six patients with coronary artery fistula were treated surgically between October 1977 and November 1998. The clinical manifestations, diagnostic criteria, indications for operation, and surgical techniques were evaluated. One patient died from ventricular fibrillation on the 2nd postoperative day. The outcome for the other 5 patients was good; symptoms and heart murmurs disappeared and all are alive and well after 10 to 21 years of follow-up. It was concluded that analysis of clinical data can confirm the diagnosis and this condition can be treated satisfactorily by suitable surgery.

Over the last decade, significant advances have been made in the study and understanding of shoulder mechanics. Much of this may be attributed to the use of more sophisticated technology to improve our ability to assess the shoulder in real-time athletics. As a consequence of these advances, our understanding of the pathophysiology of injury has also increased. Our manual examination skills have improved and our noninvasive diagnostic techniques have advanced greatly. New insight into forces at play during actions as complex as the throwing motion has allowed us to develop better protocols for
