Abstract:
In this paper, we have explored non-gravitational interaction dark energy model between dark energy and cold dark matter (CDM). The main purpose of this work is to explore the deviations from Λ C D M and to distinguish the evolution trajectory of the interaction dark energy model with different parameters. Six forms of interaction were focused on. We have analyzed the deceleration parameters of the coupled model and explored the theoretical models through s t a t e f i n d e r h i e r a r c h y and the O m diagnostic. We have considered that the Equation of State (EoS) parameter w and parameter ξ take different values on the interaction dark energy model respectively and keep another parameter unchanged. It was found that q ( z ) is the worst of the four diagnoses. O m , S 3 ( 1 ) and S 4 ( 1 ) are good tools to distinguish the interaction dark energy model from Λ C D M . S 3 ( 1 ) is a better diagnostic tool when the state parameter w changes and the coupling parameter ξ is fixed, while S 4 ( 1 ) works better when the coupling parameter ξ changes and the state parameter w is fixed.

Abstract:
The paper represents the mathematical model for diagnostics of supercapacitors. The research objectives are the problem of determining a supercapacitor technical condition during its operation. The general reliability of diagnostics is described as the methodological and instrumental reliabilities of diagnostics. The instrumental diagnostic reliability of supercapacitor includes the probabilities of errors of the first and second kind, α and β respectively. The methodological approach to increasing the reliability of supercapacitor diagnostic has been proposed, in terms of multi-parameter supercapacitor diagnostic by applying nonlinear, frequency dependent mathematical models of supercapacitors that take into account nonlinearity, frequency dispersion of parameters and the effect of transient processes in supercapacitors. The more frequencies, operating voltages and currents are applied in the supercapacitor diagnostics, the more methodological reliability of diagnostics will increase in relation to the methodological reliability of supercapacitor diagnostics when only one frequency, voltage and current are applied.

Objective. To substantiate the efficacy of scoliotic deformity diagnosis by quantitative parameters. Methods. The examination is performed with spine scanner. The spine is assessed separately in each plane: frontal, sagittal and horizontal. Each parameter is evaluated in automatic mode with developed program and a code is assigned to it depending on its magnitude. Results. Basing on data received by spine scanning the criteria for estimation of various pathologic conditions in spine scoliosis using biomechanical parameters were developed. Formalized signs of scoliotic deformities in three planes are defined with corresponding diagnostic codes necessary for detection of scoliotic deformity type. Both an existing scheme of orthopaedic examination and parameters received at scanning of scoliotic spine are reported. Conclusion. The advantage of spine scanning over clinical and radiological techniques consists in assessment of a shape and a spatial orientation of the spine by several quantitative parameters without radiography, and in ability to formulate diagnosis within several minutes.

In this paper, a large homogenous sample of Jodrell Bank Observatory (JBO) radio pulsars was used to investigate the statistical effects of interstellar medium (ISM) parameters: dispersion and rotation measure (DM and RM, respectively) on non-discrete timing irregularities of our sample (whose observed timing activity timescales span over 40 years). This is done by using the correlations between the measured DM and RM, and some parameters that have been commonly used to measure non-discrete timing irregularities [timing activity parameter (A), the amount of timing fluctuations absorbed by the cubic term (σR23), measure of pulsar rotational stability (σz ) and stability parameter (∆8)]. Our results show that ISM parameters positively correlate (r > 0.60) with the pulsar timing irregularities parameters of our sample. The significant relationships observed are discussed.

Abstract:
Research Funding: The “OrthoLine” research and production company has provided funding for the research study. Conflict of interest: The authors have no conflicts of interest to declare. Research Objective: to revise the “arc angle” parameter for estimating the value of spinal curvature and, if necessary, to search for another parameter or to develop another method for mathematically correct estimation of spinal deformity value. Materials and methods. The critical analysis has been performed both theoretically and experimentally. It has been demonstrated that the angle parameter is incorrect, and another estimation parameter and procedure should be developed. A method of 3D X-ray diagnostics and construction of 3D structure using two orthogonal projections of two-dimensional spine image involve several procedures. Software-based scaling and horizontal-wise image synchronization, synchronised selection of spinal arc on images and construction of a geometric image of the studied arc are performed stepwise. Software-based measurements of a number of geometric parameters on 2D images, utilised for mathematical analysis and construction of a 3D picture of geometric spine images, are made, and geometric parameters of some arcs, among which the arc plane curvature and azimuth angle are assumed to be the major ones, are found. 2D X-ray diagnostics was performed using a light-dose device AGFA DX – D 300, which allows having the images of the entire spinal column in a single shot. Results. A method for the 3D X-ray diagnostics of the pathologically deformed spine has been proposed. The relationship between the deformity value and severity and the true arc curvature and azimuth angle of the arc plane position between frontal and lateral planes of the trunk has been established. There have been developed the procedures for software-based examination of 2D orthogonal images of the trunk projections and computation of parameters of the 3D spine state along with constructing its true image. There has been created a two-parameter function, with correction factors, of spinal deformity degree based on comparative estimations of radiographic images, measured parameters, and posture of the pathologically deformed trunk, made by independent experts. Conclusion. The developed method of 3D X-ray diagnostics and analysis of radiographs eliminates critical errors of conventional method. What principally distinguishes this method is a research object, namely, a three-dimensional state of the spine rather than two-dimensional on the frontal projection, and the use of the arc curvature parameter and azimuth angle of the arc plane position instead of mathematically erroneous angle parameter – the Cobb angle. The method of (3D) X-ray diagnostics provides new beneficial properties of the 2D spondylography based on state-of the-art digital technologies.

The effect of process parameters on the plasma deposition of μc-Si:H solar cells is reviewed in this article. Several in situ diagnostics are presented, which can be used to study the process stability as an additional parameter in the deposition process. The diagnostics were used to investigate the stability of the substrate temperature during deposition at elevated power and the gas composition during deposition at decreased hydrogen dilution. Based on these investigations, an updated view on the role of the process parameters of plasma power, heater temperature, total gas flow rate, and hydrogen dilution is presented.

The aim of the study was to validate non-destructive diagnostics of surface of tools and metal sheets after steel grit blasting. We used replicas produced by fy Struers, known under commercial name RepliSet-F5. The replicas were extracted from surfaces of thirty specimens with PVD coatings (CrN, TiCN) and from flat specimens after steel grit blasting. Qualitative and quantitative parameters characteristic of surface morphology were determined by means of an optical profilometer, and confocal microscope was used for surface contactless metrology measurements. We observed a qualitative coincidence of morphological images of original surfaces and replicas. The values of the quantitative parameter Sa (Arithmetic mean height according to ISO 25178) of surfaces and replicas extracted from them differed at the second decimal place. Replicas document well the surface morphology and allow one to obtain information about the state of surface in difficult-to-access sites of the tools or constructions.

Abstract:
In the paper the problem of reasons elucidation in the matter of lathe instability at groove cross turning and boring is solved. As a tool for the analysis of a structure state there are used potentialities of modal monitoring, and in particular, a correlation of modal parameters, sets of proper characteristics of an elastic system (self-frequencies, modal coefficients damping and own forms of vibrations) of lathes designs with the state of bearings in spindle units. The application of a modal approach to the evaluation of a lathe design state or an elastic system is a new section in a dynamic analysis and may be called modal diagnostics. From the analysis of the modal parameter values of a lathe one traces their tie with the lathe design characteristics, and in particular, with the existence of sever rigidity anisotropy of a spindle unit front bearing and also with its insufficient tightness. Reasoning from the information mentioned of the modal parameters connection with the rigidity of a spindle unit front bearing and a state of bearing design the authors draw a conclusion of the technological state of a spindle unit design. In such a way, by the example of the design of two lathes in the paper there is shown a possibility of transition from experimental frequency characteristics through a procedure of modal diagnostics to the evaluation of the technological state of a spindle unit.

Abstract:
Abstract We propose a conceptual and theoretical foundation for information-based model benchmarking and process diagnostics that provides diagnostic insight into model performance and model realism. We benchmark against a bounded estimate of the information contained in model inputs to obtain a bounded estimate of information lost due to model error, and we perform process-level diagnostics by taking differences between modeled versus observed transfer entropy networks. We use this methodology to reanalyze the recent Protocol for the Analysis of Land Surface Models (PALS) Land Surface Model Benchmarking Evaluation Project (PLUMBER) land model intercomparison project that includes the following models: CABLE, CH-TESSEL, COLA-SSiB, ISBA-SURFEX, JULES, Mosaic, Noah, and ORCHIDEE. We report that these models (i) use only roughly half of the information available from meteorological inputs about observed surface energy fluxes, (ii) do not use all information from meteorological inputs about long-term Budyko-type water balances, (iii) do not capture spatial heterogeneities in surface processes, and (iv) all suffer from similar patterns of process-level structural error. Because the PLUMBER intercomparison project did not report model parameter values, it is impossible to know whether process-level error patterns are due to model structural error or parameter error, although our proposed information-theoretic methodology could distinguish between these two issues if parameter values were reported. We conclude that there is room for significant improvement to the current generation of land models and their parameters. We also suggest two simple guidelines to make future community-wide model evaluation and intercomparison experiments more informative.

Medical diagnosis has been greatly improved thanks to the development of new techniques capable of performing very sensitive detection and quantifying certain parameters. These parameters can be correlated with the presence of specific molecules and their quantity. Unfortunately, these techniques are demanding, expensive, and often complicated. On the other side, progress in other fields of science and technology has contributed to the rapid growth of nanotechnology. Although being an emerging discipline, nanotechnology has raised huge interest and expectations. Most of the enthusiasm comes from new possibilities and properties of nanomaterials. Biosensors (simple, robust, sensitive, cost-effective) combined with nanomaterials, also called nanobiosensors, are serving as bridge between advanced detection/diagnostics and daily/routine tests. Q fever is a zoonosis caused by Coxiella burnetii, a Gram-negative pathogen with a complex life cycle and a high impact on public and animal health all over the world. The symptoms are indistinguishable from those belonging to other diseases, and the disease could be symptomless. For these reasons, reliable laboratory tests are essential for an accurate diagnosis. The aim of this study was to validate a novel enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) test, named the Chorus Q Fever Phase II IgG and IgM Kit (DIESSE, Diagnostica Senese S.p.A), which is performed by an instrument named Chorus, a new device in medical diagnostics. This diagnostic test is employed for the detection of antibodies against C. burnetii Phase II antigens in acute disease. Our validation protocol was performed according to the Italian Accreditation Body (ACCREDIA) (Regulation UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 and 17043:2010), OIE (World Organization for Animal Health), and Statement for Reporting Studies of Diagnostic Accuracy (STARD). Operator performance was evaluated along with the analytical specificity and sensitivity (ASp and ASe) and diagnostic accuracy of the kit, with parameters such as diagnostic specificity and sensitivity (DSp and DSe) and positive and negative predictive values (PPV and NPV), in addition to the repeatability. According to the evaluated parameters, the diagnostic ELISA test was shown to be suitable for validation and commercialization as a screening method in human sera and a valid support for clinical diagnostics.

The presented paper scientifically discusses the progressive diagnostics of electrical drives in robots with sensor support. The AI (artificial intelligence) model proposed by the authors contains the technical conditions of fuzzy inference rule descriptions for the identification of a robot drive’s technical condition and a source for the description of linguistic variables. The parameter of drive diagnostics for a robotized workplace that is proposed here is original and composed of the sum of vibration acceleration amplitudes ranging from a frequency of 6.3 Hz to 1250 Hz of a one-third-octave filter. Models of systems for the diagnostics of mechatronic objects in the robotized workplace are developed based on examples of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine diagnostics and mechatronic modules based on the fuzzy inference system, concluding with a solved example of the multi-criteria optimization of diagnostic systems. Algorithms for CNC machine diagnostics are implemented and intended only for research into precisely determined procedures for monitoring the lifetime of the mentioned mechatronic systems. Sensors for measuring the diagnostic parameters of CNC machines according to precisely determined measuring chains, together with schemes of hardware diagnostics for mechatronic systems are proposed.

Abstract:
In this paper, we reparameterized the extended exponential model based on the mean in order to include covariates and facilitate the interpretation of the coefficients. The model is compared with common models defined in the positive line also reparametrized in the mean. Parameter estimation is approached based on the expectation–maximization algorithm. Furthermore, we discuss residuals and influence diagnostic tools. A simulation study for recovered parameters is presented. Finally, an application illustrating the advantages of the model in a real data set is presented.

Abstract:
The evaluation of the microcirculatory bed functional state and the identification of angiospastic disorders with related complications, when the pathological changes are reversible, have an important role in medical practice. The aim of this study was to evaluate the possibility of using optical noninvasive methods and the cold pressor test to solve this problem.A total of 33 patients with rheumatological diseases and 32 healthy volunteers were included in the study. Laser Doppler flowmetry, tissue reflectance oximetry and pulse oximetry were used as optical noninvasive methods. The parameters were recorded before, immediately after and 20[Formula: see text]min after the cold pressor test. Based on the measured parameters, the complex parameters of the microcirculatory bed were calculated.A detailed statistical analysis of the parameter changes for each individual in the two groups displayed diverse microcirculatory bed parameter responses upon cold exposure, with differing recovery of parameters after CPT. New diagnostic criteria were proposed for the identification of angiospastic disorders. According to the proposed criteria, 27 people of the volunteers group were confirmed to not display any disorders. In the patient group, however, 18 people were observed to have a relatively normal functional state of the microcirculatory bed, while 15 people were observed to have a possible tendency to angiospasm. To highlight the differences between a relatively normal state and presence of angiospastic disorders, statistical analysis of experimental data was carried out, which revealed significant differences. Further analysis of data with angiospastic disorders identified a relationship between their diagnoses and the results of laboratory studies. Thus, the evaluation of combined noninvasive optical diagnostic method use, the cold pressor test and proposed diagnostic criteria showed a positive result. This approach can be used to detect the presence of possible angiospastic disorders and related complications, as well as microcirculatory bed disorders against the background of other diseases.

Abstract:
Wolf-Rayet (WR) stars are the descendants of massive stars that have lost their hydrogen rich envelope. Recently more accurate data on WR stars have become available: mass-loss rates (van der Hucht et al. 1986), radii and luminosities (Underhill 1983, Nussbaumer et al. 1982).It may therefore be worthwhile to investigate if combinations of observed parameters shed some light on the structure of the extended stellar wind of WR stars. In many WR stars the photosphere is situated in the stellar wind. We assume that the wind is stationary and isotropic. Further we assume a velocity law v(r)=v∞(1−Rs/r)β where v∞ is the terminal velocity of the wind in km/s, Rs is the radius where the wind acceleration starts and β > 0 is a free parameter. We can then easily compute the level R in the wind where the photosphere is located (de Loore et al. 1982): R is the solution of the equation 6.27 10−9 τat R v∞/ = fβ(Rs/R) where τat is the optical depth at the photosphere (2/3 or 1), (>0) is the mass loss rate in M⊙/yr and fβ > 1 is a slowly varying function (Doom 1987).

Abstract:
The purpose of this work: the engineering process optimization of 09H17N7Yu steel turning at the expense of creating the procedure allowing the diagnostics of an engineering cutting system state on the results of cutting force control, inverse problem solution, that is, cutting force control according to the analysis results of system state diagnostics, the optimization of cutting mode parameters to ensure the required values of a cutting force, on the basis of the analysis results of a cutting force the tool materials and tool geometry should be recommended for cutter wear-resistance increase, the prediction of tool life at the expense of designing new tool materials and tool geometry for new conditions of their operation. There are presented recommendations to ensure a correct choice of carbide cutting inserts quality for the specified conditions of their operation. On the investigation results there are obtained conclusions: the most promising for special stainless steel 09H17N7Yu turning were tool materials: TC8+TiCN(mkm) + (TiAl)N(3mkm) + Al2O3(5mkm) + TiC(5mkm); TC8+Al2O3(2mkm) + (Ti)CN(5mkm) + (TiAl)N(3mkm) + TiN(3mkm); TC8 + (TiAl)N(3mkm) + Al2O3(3mkm) + (TiAl)N(3mkm) + Al2O3(3mkm); it is defined that at cutting mode forcing (cutting speed 60m/min, depth 2.5mm) or at turning titanium alloy TT-22 more complex in machining the mentioned tool materials met the demands made, that is, real insert life varied from the designed one not considerably (in the first case – 7% maximum, in the second one – 14%), that is the most acceptable. Work novelty: there is offered and substantiated a procedure for cutting force constituents use on the basis of simulation for the choice or design of tool material for turning in different conditions of tool operation.

Abstract:
The article deals with the stage of formation of universal indicators of evaluation of biosphere compatible production on the principles of sustainable development. The concept of assessment consists in the universalisation of the assessment criteria adapted to the relevant industry in view of the environmental and economic constraints that operate in accordance with international environmental regulations. The limits of isolation of optimal solutions and algorithm of their estimation are presented. A list of economic and managerial independent factors (indicators) based on commonly accepted accounting indicators is proposed. Factors that impede the spread of best practices for sustainable production in diagnosing environmental and economic compliance are analyzed. On the basis of the analysis of impact factors, a list of coefficients and indicators that integrate the components of the socio-ecological-economic system into a single system of biosphere compatibility assessment and comprehensively characterize production is proposed.Key words: environmental and economic monitoring, sustainable development, green technology indicators, biosphere compatibility of production.

Abstract:
Abstract. The land-surface parameters required as input to a GCM grid box (typically a few degrees) are often set to be those of the dominant vegetation type within the grid box. This paper discusses the use and effect of aggregation rules for specifying effective values of these land cover parameters by taking into account the relative proportion of each land-cover type within each individual grid box. Global land-cover classification data at 1 km resolution were used to define Biosphere Atmosphere Transfer Scheme (BATS) specific aggregate (using aggregation rules) land-cover parameters. Comparison of the values of the aggregate parameters and those defined using the single dominant vegetation type (default parameters) shows significant differences in some regions, particularly in the semi-desert and in forested regions, e.g. the Sahara Desert and the tropical forest of South America. These two different sets of parameters were used as input data for two 10-year simulations of the NCAR CCM3 model coupled to the BATS land-surface scheme. Statistical analyses comparing the results of the two model runs showed that the resulting effects on the land-surface diagnostics are significant only in specific regions. For example, the sensible heat flux in the Sahara Desert calculated for the aggregate parameter run increased due to the marked increase in the minimum stomatal resistance and the decrease in fractional vegetation cover in the aggregate parameters over the default parameters. The modelled global precipitation and surface air temperature fields were compared to observations: there is a general improvement in the performance of the aggregate parameter run over the default parameter run in areas where the differences between the aggregate and default parameter run are significant. However, most of the difference between the modelled and observed fields is attributable to other model deficiencies. It can be concluded that the use of aggregation rules to derive land-surface parameters results in significant changes in modelled climate and in some improvements in the land-surface diagnostics in selected regions. There is also some evidence that there is a response in the global circulation pattern, which is a focus of further work.

Abstract:
A cross-validation method is supplied to judge between various strategies in multipole refinement procedures. Its application enables straightforward detection of whether the refinement of additional parameters leads to an improvement in the model or an overfitting of the given data. For all tested data sets it was possible to prove that the multipole parameters of atoms in comparable chemical environments should be constrained to be identical. In an automated approach, this method additionally delivers parameter distributions ofkdifferent refinements. These distributions can be used for further error diagnostics,e.g.to detect erroneously defined parameters or incorrectly determined reflections. Visualization tools show the variation in the parameters. These different refinements also provide rough estimates for the standard deviation of topological parameters.

Abstract:
In the article, the approach of integrated statistical control and diagnostics of the radio-electronic equipment, which is based on the analysis, integration of the measuring information arriving from the thermal imager, magnetic field sensors, tension and humidity of air and also statistical control of equipment parameters, is presented. The solution of a control and diagnostics problem is based on monitoring of changes in the average level of a multi-parameter process. Here, Hotelling control charts, integration and processing of the measured information are used to provide the analysis and decision-making on the influence of the operator. The algorithm implements a technique of integrated statistical control of the technical condition of the radio-electronic equipment and is capable to determine the level of its precritical condition. The proposed technique increases the reliability of the identification of technical conditions of radio-electronic equipment and expands the scope of technical means of control and diagnostics.

Abstract:
Sensitivity diagnostics has recently been put high on the agenda of methodological research into Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA). Existing studies in this area rely on the technique of exhaustive enumeration, and the majority of works examine the reactivity of QCA either only to alterations in discretionary parameter values or only to data quality. In this article, we introduce the technique of combinatorial computation for evaluating the interaction effects between two problems afflicting data quality and two discretionary parameters on the stability of QCA reference solutions. In this connection, we challenge a hitherto unstated assumption intrinsic to exhaustive enumeration, show that combinatorial computation permits the formulation of general laws of sensitivity in QCA, and demonstrate that our technique is most efficient.
