Premenstrual disorders (PMD) can affect women throughout their entire reproductive years. In 2016, an interdisciplinary expert meeting of general gynecologists, gynecological endocrinologists, psychiatrists and psychologists from Switzerland was held to provide an interdisciplinary algorithm on PMD management taking reproductive stages into account. Approximately 30–40% of women report premenstrual syndrome symptoms that require treatment, while 3–8% of women during their reproductive years suffer from PMDD. Namely, these peculiarities determine the desire to change a person’s emotional state artificially. Among the main risk factors are age, atrial fibrillation (AF), diabetes, dyslipidemia and physical inactivity. The main etiology of stroke is cardioembolic, resulting in obstruction of the cerebral arteries by a thrombus of cardiac origin. The artery most affected in ischemic strokes is the middle cerebral artery. The stroke has main characteristics, with emphasis on the sudden onset of symptoms, involvement of a focal area, ischemia caused by obstruction of a vessel and neurological deficits dependi

Introduction: Cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL), is a non-atherosclerotic, nonamyloid, hereditary cerebral disease of small vessels and capillaries caused by mutations in the NOTCH-3 gene located on chromosome 19. The presence of granular osmophilic material (GOM) deposition in the smooth muscle cells of vessel walls is the pathological hallmark of arteriopathy in CADASIL. GOM deposits in the basal lamina of smooth muscle of small vessels are pathognomonic for CADASIL. The presence of GOM in capillary blood vessels of the skin

Abstract:
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is used to manage the symptoms of menopause. It has been associated with an increased risk of developing breast cancer; however, this risk varies according to the type of HRT and duration of use. Evidence suggests that oestrogen-only HRT has little to no increased risk of breast cancer; however, it is generally only prescribed to people who have had a hysterectomy as it carries an increased risk of uterine cancer. Combined HRT is associated with a duration-dependent increase in breast cancer risk when used over five years. This increase in risk then reduces af
