This study of depressed outpatients (N = 52) examined the role of personal standards (PS) and self-criticism (SC) dimensions of perfectionism in daily stress, coping, and depressive symptoms. Prior to treatment, participants completed interviews and questionnaires in a lab session and then completed daily reports of stress, coping, and depressive symptoms at the end of the day for 7 consecutive days. The onset and development of addiction in people with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) can be predicted by various factors.
