Abstract:
Este trabalho está embasado em um trabalho de mestrado no qual é apresentado a utilização do Diagrama V em uma atividade experimental de Magnetismo em Sala de Aula com estudantes da 3ª série do Ensino Médio de uma escola estadual pública. É descrito o Diagrama V utilizado, o desenvolvimento da atividade, os resultados encontrados nas análises dos Diagramas Vs. O instrumento de Coleta de dados, Orientação e avaliação foi o Vê Epistemológico de Gowin, chamado nesse trabalho de Diagrama V. Os resultados revelaram que o Diagrama V foi bem aceito pelos estudantes que não mostraram resistência em trabalhar com esse recurso. A abrangência teórico-metodológica do Diagrama V permitiu, também, mapear erros conceituais dos estudantes que, muitas vezes, não são devidamente observados através de instrumentos tradicionais de avaliação, tais como, provas e relatórios.

Abstract:
Este trabalho apresenta e descreve a utilização do Diagrama V como elemento estruturador e instrumento de coleta de dados em uma atividade experimental em aulas de Física empregando a técnica da vídeo-análise através do software Tracker® com estudantes do primeiro ano do Ensino Médio. É descrita uma atividade na qual os estudantes, após já estarem familiarizados com o Diagrama V e com a vídeo-análise, estudaram o movimento de queda de corpos. Resultados apontam a potencialidade do Diagrama V em levar os estudantes a organizar o procedimento experimental, buscar coerência e promover a reflexão entre teoria-prática e construir a síntese e conclusão sobre o tópico abordado. Em relação ao professor, o Diagrama V possibilitou o acompanhamento dos estudantes durante o desenvolvimento da atividade experimental, além de fornecer dados para análise do desenvolvimento conceitual e metodológico dos estudantes.

Abstract:
Esta experiencia exploratoria permitió caracterizar el proceso de construcción reflexiva de enunciados epistemológicos sobre la ciencia de ocho docentes en formación del área de Química durante el desarrollo de cinco trabajos prácticos de laboratorio (TPL) de Bioquímica de la UPEL/IPC contextualizados disciplinariamente bajo un enfoque constructivista, usando el diagrama V por pares. Los enunciados epistemológicos de construcción propia se tomaron de la sección de filosofía de este diagrama en su versión final como informe de laboratorio, después de ser mejorados reflexivamente en las diferentes fases del laboratorio. El análisis de contenido reveló cuatro tipos de enunciados emergentes, los conceptos utilizados para su construcción y una cierta tendencia epistemológica general. La observación participante identificó dificultades en la experiencia exploratoria, permitiendo una reflexión docente continua con fines didácticos. La disposición reflexiva de los estudiantes se revela en los enunciados epistemológicos construidos. Los resultados fortalecerán esta línea de investigación.

En este trabajo se muestran los principales resultados de un estudio que tuvo como propósito valorar la implementación de una propuesta didáctica constituida por diferentes actividades de modelación computacional haciendo uso del diagrama AVM - Adaptación de la V de Gowin a la Modelación Computacional -, así como su contribución en la habilidad adquirida por los estudiantes para formular preguntas en la clase de Física. El estudio fue realizado con un grupo de siete estudiantes de Física de la Universidad de Antioquia, Colombia; y estuvo fundamentado en la Teoría del Aprendizaje Significativo Crítico de Moreira basada en las ideas de Postman y Weingartner de la enseñanza como una actividad subversiva- y en la modelación computacional con diagrama AVM. Los principales hallazgos develan que la implementación de la propuesta didáctica favoreció un progreso significativo en la habilidad de los estudiantes para formular preguntas de interés sobre la dinámica Newtoniana como campo de conocimiento.

Contexto: Las funciones de protección de un grupo generador-transformador deben garantizar su vida útil cuando se presenta una condición de operación anormal, de esta manera se mejora la confiabilidad del servicio de energía eléctrica en el sistema eléctrico de potencia. Cuando la relación V/Hz del grupo se incrementa puede presentarse saturación en el núcleo magnético, induciendo un flujo de dispersión en los componentes no laminados que no están diseñados para conducirlo y puede ocurrir un daño en segundos; razón por la cual, estas máquinas se protegen con la función de protección (FDP) ANSI 24. Metodología: Este artículo presenta la teoría que justifica la implementación de la FDP ANSI 24 en un grupo generador-transformador y la metodología para calcular cada uno de sus parámetros de ajuste en un relé multifuncional Siemens 7UM62. La originalidad del artículo radica en que se explica su diagrama lógico de decisión de una manera clara y detallada, identificando las señales de entrada: ajustes, analógicas y binarias, y sus señales de salida. Este diagrama lógico se organizó en 3 subdiagramas para facilitar su comprensión e identificar las causas que originan sus salidas de alarmas, arranque, disparos o bloqueo. Resultados: Se obtuvo el diagrama de decisión detallado de la FDP ANSI 24, se describieron los criterios de ajuste de entrada de cada uno de los parámetros de ajustes y un procedimiento detallado para calcular cada uno. También, se obtuvieron los resultados numéricos de todos los ajustes para el grupo generador-transformador de la Unidad 1 de la Central Hidroeléctrica de Salvajina. Conclusiones: Se recomienda para una mayor precisión en los parámetros de ajuste obtener la característica de calentamiento V/Hz real o entregada por el fabricante de los equipos a proteger.

Uvod: Uporaba glasbe v terapevtske namene je neinvazivna intervencija, ki v bolnišničnem okolju lahko ugodno vpliva na pacientovo psihofizično stanje, vendar v vsakdanji obravnavi pacientov ni uveljavljena. Zato je bil namen raziskave preučiti uporabo in učinkovitost glasbene terapije glede na doživljanje bolečine ali stresa pri pacientih, hospitaliziranih v enotah intenzivne terapije.Metode: Izveden je bil sistematični pregled znanstvene literature v mednarodnih podatkovnih bazah: PubMed, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, ScienceDirect, Wiley Online Library z uporabo ključnih besed v angleškem jeziku »music therapy«, »intensive care unit«, »stress«, »anxiety«, »pain« ter upoštevanjem vključitvenihin izključitvenih kriterijev. Potek pregleda literature je prikazan s pomočjo diagrama PRISMA. Kakovost raziskav, vključenih v končno analizo, je bila ocenjena s pomočjo orodja Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network. Rezultati so sintetizirani z uporabo metode analize vsebine.Rezultati: Izmed 749 identificiranih zadetkov je bilo v končno analizo vključenih 13 raziskav. Raziskave kažejo učinkovitost glasbene terapije pri lajšanju bolečin, poglobitvi sedacije, uravnavanju fizioloških parametrov ter zmanjšanju strahu in anksioznosti pri hospitaliziranih pacientih v enotah intenzivne terapije.Diskusija in zaključek: Glasbena terapija je v medsebojnem dopolnjevanju s farmakološkimi ukrepi primerna intervencija za obvladovanje bolečine in stresa. Primanjkuje dokazov o optimalnem trajanju, zvrsti glasbe in načinu izvajanja glasbene terapije za doseganje najboljših rezultatov.

Este trabalho teve como objetivo desenvolver um Diagrama de Manejo da Densidade (DMD) para definir momentos ótimos para aplicação de desbastes e corte final em povoamentos de Pinus taeda L., no estado do Paraná. A base de dados utilizada no estudo é oriunda de plantios de Pinus taeda estabelecidos no estado do Paraná, nas regiões Centro-Oeste, Sul e Campos Gerais, além de dados coletados na Floresta Nacional de Irati (FLONA de Irati) e em um experimento com diferentes espaçamentos existente no Campus da UNICENTRO (Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste), no município de Irati. Foram utilizadas 1.023 parcelas sem desbastes, com idades variando de 7 a 44 anos. Foi ajustado o modelo de densidade de Reineke (1933) para obter o Índice de Densidade de Reineke (IDR), construindo-se então, o DMD similarmente à metodologia proposta por McCarter e Long (1986) e Dean e Baldwin (1993), o qual tem como componentes básicos o IDR e um sistema de equações que relacionam o diâmetro médio quadrático (dg) e o volume do povoamento (V) com a densidade (N), altura dominante (hdom) e o diâmetro médio quadrático. O sistema de equações ajustado para a construção do DMD apresentou estatísticas adequadas de ajuste e precisão, possibilitando a definição das densidades iniciais para atingir um dado diâmetro de tamanho desejado no corte final, bem como conhecer as idades em que devem ser realizadas as intervenções e a prognose da produção de cada colheita.

Abstract:
Uvod: Okužbe zgornjih dihalnih poti so pri otrocih pogoste ter so tudi pogost razlog za opustitve šolanja, obisk zdravnika in nepotrebne stroške zdravstva. Namen raziskave je pregledati, analizirati in sintetizirati obstoječo literaturo s področja ukrepov pri zdravstveni obravnavi otrok z okužbo zgornjih dihalnih poti.Metode: Uporabili smo opisno metodo dela. Iskanje literature je potekalo v obdobju od decembra 2019 do januarja 2020 v mednarodnih podatkovnih bazah Medline in CINAHL. Potek iskanja in analize literature je prikazan s pomočjo diagrama PRISMA. Zadetke smo analizirali glede na karakteristike raziskav in razvrstili glede na raven dokaza. Rezultate smo sintetizirali s pomočjo vsebinske analize.Rezultati: Izmed 1.845 identificiranih zadetkov smo v končno analizo vključili 18 zadetkov. Identificirali smo 10 kategorij: znanje, prepoznavanje okužbe zgornjih dihalnih poti, predpisovanje in uporaba antibiotikov, uporaba nepredpisanih zdravil v domačem okolju, uporaba predpisanih zdravil v domačem okolju, uporaba predpisanih zdravil v bolnišnici, socialna izolacija, nedokazan uspeh zdravila, dejavnosti zdravstvenih delavcev za preprečevanje ali zdravljenje okužb zgornjih dihalnih poti, obravnava, osredotočena na otroka in starše. Identificirali smo tri kategorije: zdravstvena vzgoja, zdravljenje in ukrepi za izboljšanje zdravstvene obravnave, zdravstvena nega in oskrba.Diskusija in zaključek: Za kakovostno zdravstveno obravnavo otrok z okužbami zgornjih dihalnih poti je potreben pristop, ki je usmerjen k otroku in družini, je celosten ter varen. Ukrepi pri interdisciplinarni zdravstveni obravnavi otrok morajo temeljiti na znanstvenih dokazih. Poleg ustreznega zdravljenja in ukrepov je pomembno, da izvajamo tudi izobraževanje otrok in staršev.

El objetivo de esta investigación es diseñar un sistema de biodigestión para la producción de biol y biogás mediante el tratamiento de residuos orgánicos procedentes del cantón Santa Rosa. A través de una matriz de selección de tecnología se determinó que el biodigestor de domo fijo es el más factible y de mejor operación. Además, se elaboró el diagrama de flujo de proceso con los respectivos balances de masa, obteniéndose los siguientes parámetros de diseño: VG= 1386 m3/día; B= 67,79 ton/día; VCH4 =639 1108,8 m3/día; MV=3811,5 kg/día; COV=2,5 kg MV/ m3; V=1829,52 m3; Cdb= 69,3 ton; THR=26,4 días.

Abstract:
Emulsões de petróleo do tipo água-em-óleo (A/O) podem apresentar viscosidade elevada, sendo necessário técnicas que viabilizem sua exploração e escoamento. Como alternativa, propõe-se a adição de microemulsões óleo-em-água (O/A) em emulsões de petróleo A/O. Microemulsões são sistemas termodinamicamente estáveis capazes de alterar a curvatura do filme interfacial da região água/óleo, modificando a estabilidade e viscosidade do sistema. Assim, os objetivos deste trabalho foram a avaliar o efeito do conteúdo aquoso e da incorporação de sistemas auto-organizáveis nas propriedades das emulsões de petróleo bruto. Inicialmente o petróleo foi caracterizado quanto à densidade em diferentes temperaturas. Emulsões de petróleo, com diferentes concentrações (10-50% m/m) de salmoura (27.870 ppm NaCl) foram produzidas e caracterizadas. De acordo com os resultados de tamanho de gotas e de estabilidade cinética, a inversão de fases de emulsão A/O para O/A ocorreu na concentração de 30% (v/v) de salmoura. Todas as emulsões de petróleo apresentaram distribuição do tamanho de gotas do tipo lognormal e comportamento Newtoniano, com viscosidade variando de 25,6 a 46,0 mPa.s. Posteriormente foi avaliada a formação de microemulsão em 42% do diagrama pseudo-ternário composto por água, xileno e surfactante/co-surfactante (Triton/butanol). Microemulsão formada por 10% (m/m) água, 81% (m/m) Triton/butanol e 9% (m/m) xileno e solução de surfactante formada por 10% (m/m) água e 90% (m/m) Triton/butanol foram adicionadas à emulsão A/O de petróleo com 20% (v/v) de salmoura. Observou-se que não houve redução significativa na viscosidade, porém houve redução do tamanho das gotas das emulsões do óleo mostrando o efeito da adição de sistemas auto-organizáveis na microestrutura de emulsões de petróleo.

Abstract:
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el impacto del estudio de tiempos y movimientos para reducir tiempos y movimientos ineficientes y así aumentar la productividad de las operaciones de mantenimiento preventivo en la empresa TASA en este año 2016. A un nivel de significancia del 5% y 95% de confianza se realizó una muestra de 53 actividades de engrasado de chumaceras, se realizaron encuestas de IPC, se usó un instrumento para la recolección de datos según nuestras dimensiones con un total de 32 preguntas, el mismo fue validado mediante el alpha de Cronbach con el software IBM SPSS Statistics v. 22, alcanzando un nivel de fiabilidad de 83%. Además se usaron diagrama de análisis de proceso, diagrama bimanual, estudio de tiempos y movimientos, con la finalidad de encontrar tiempos muertos, hallar movimientos bimanuales que no agregan valor y así aumentar la productividad. Se encontró mediante el análisis de procedimientos, que el porcentaje de cumplimiento del instructivo era sólo de 56.78% logrando un nivel de cumplimiento deficiente. Asimismo, los métodos y/o técnicas y el estudio de tiempos nos dieron como resultado que una tarea de engrasado de chumacera se realizaba en 3 horas 42 minutos y la segunda tarea en 1 hora 47 minutos, realizando el engrasado sólo a 03 chumaceras por día. Después del estudio se logró que el tiempo se redujera a 2 horas 30 minutos la primera tarea y en 1 hora 25 minutos la segunda tarea, logrando así que se realice una actividad más de engrasado de chumacera al día. Además se encontró un nuevo tiempo estándar para el desarrollo de las actividades. El incremento de una tarea más de engrasado a otra chumacera se logró debido a que se redujeron los tiempos, se eliminaron actividades improductivas y evitables. Así pues, si antes de engrasaba tres chumaceras al día, ahora se puede realizar cuatro tareas de engrasado al día.

Na intenção de realizar um estudo que abordasse a integração de saberes dos alunos, dentro da perspectiva da verticalização do ensino, neste caso a união de discentes do ensino médio técnico à pós-graduação, construindo a chamada educação verticalizada, criou-se a Oficina Genetikar. Um projeto que englobou conteúdos específicos do curso médio técnico em Controle Ambiental, tendo como objetivo debater conceitos científicos de genética por meio de uma aproximação com o cotidiano dos alunos. Desta forma, a construção da oficina foi pautada no seguinte questionamento: “Como a interação entre os saberes Genética, Ciência e Arte, e, práticas laboratoriais, embasados na Teoria da Aprendizagem Significativa (TAS), podem facilitar o aprendizado de conteúdos científicos, para os alunos do médio técnico?” Portanto, com a preocupação de que essa oficina fosse construída metodologicamente à luz da TAS, sua organização foi desenhada por meio do Diagrama V de Gowin. Alunos nos diferentes níveis de ensino participaram dessa construção. Na exposição dos resultados buscou-se focar em dois produtos que podem responder ao questionamento proposto: a organização sequencial didática da oficina e as manifestações e os trabalhos realizados pelos alunos. Assim, pode-se perceber pelo diálogo e trabalhos apresentados durante a oficina, a integração dos saberes propostos; concluindo que, por meio do material analisado e da construção de organização sequencial própria, houve indícios de uma Aprendizagem Significativa de conceitos científicos vistos na oficina.

Abstract:
A pesquisa tem como objetivo realizar uma análise do ambiente de estudo de discentes de um curso de pós-graduação, modalidade EaD, levando-se em consideração critérios ergonômicos, além da identificação sobre a ocorrência de dor ou desconforto musculoesquelético nos mesmos. Para isso foi analisada a percepção dos pós-graduandos a respeito de aspectos de ergonomia em seus respectivos locais de estudo a partir da aplicação de um questionário semiestruturado online composto por 14 perguntas que abordavam questões relacionadas aos aspectos: (i) social; (ii) rotina de estudos; (iii) organizacional e de qualidade do ambiente de estudo; (iv) ambiental; e (v) aspectos relacionados a frequência de dor ou desconforto físico. Este último foi verificado através de uma adaptação do Diagrama de Corlett e Manenica. Os resultados mostram que os aspectos estudados, incluindo as características do ambiente de estudo, tornam-se de grande importância para a criação de um local adequado para o desenvolvimento das atividades no Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizagem. Além disso, a frequência de dor ou desconforto musculoesquelético relatada estava relacionada principalmente as regiões do pescoço (66,25%), punhos/mãos e dedos (50%) e lombar (47,5%). Manturov, On free knots, preprint (2009), arXiv:math.GT/0901.2214], the second named author constructed the bracket invariant [Formula: see text] of virtual knots valued in pictures (linear combinations of virtual knot diagrams with some crossing information omitted), such that for many diagrams [Formula: see text], the following formula holds: [Formula: see text], where [Formula: see text] is the underlying graph of the diagram, i.e. the value of the invariant on a diagram equals the diagram itself with some crossing information omitted. This phenomenon allows one to reduce many questions about virtual knots to questions about their diagrams. In [S. Nelson, M. E. Orrison and V. Rivera, Quantum enhancements and biquandle brackets, preprint (2015), arXiv:math.GT/1508.06573], the authors discovered the following phenomenon: having a biquandle coloring of a certain knot, one can enhance various state-sum invariants (say, Kauffman bracket) by using various coefficients depending on colors. Taking into account that the parity can be treated in terms of biquandles, we bring together the two ideas from these papers and construct the picture-valued parity-biquandle bracket for classical and virtual knots. This is an invariant of virtual knots valued in pictures. Both the parity bracket and Nelson–Orrison–Rivera invariants are partial cases of this invariant, hence this invariant enjoys many properties of various kinds. Recently, the authors together with E. Horvat and S. Kim have found that the picture-valued phenomenon works in the classical case.

In the present paper thermodynamic limitations will be derived and summarized in the form of Equilibrium Electrochemical Synthesis (EES) diagrams, in order to predict the composition of the equilibrium phase, synthesized by galvanostatic co-deposition of components on inert electrodes. As a thermodynamic parameter, a difference of deposition potentials of pure components ( ?E) on inert cathodes is used (this parameter is a function of melt composition and temperature). Generally, the EES diagram predicts the equilibrium composition of the alloy as function temperature and ?E. However, for systems with homogeneous alloy formation the composition- ?E diagrams, drawn at a fixed temperature are more informative. As examples EES diagrams are constructed for the liquid Mg-Nd alloy, for some A(III)-B(V) (where A = Al, Ga, In and B = As, Sb), Si-C and for the Al-Ti system. For the Al-rich part of the Al-Ti system, also a semi-schematic non-equilibrium ES diagram is constructed. Based on these diagrams, the synthesis conditions of various phases has been discussed.

Deep UBV CCD imagery has been obtained in three fields of the galactic globular cluster M5. The locations of these fields are at distances of 8, 21, and 58 core radii. In the middle field, which overlaps substantially with the deep photometry field of Arp, the CCD photometry reaches fainter than V = 26. Color-magnitude diagrams constructed from stars in the inner two fields are identical, to within the errors, and can be used to set an upper limit of 4% to any metallicity difference between these two fields. A U, (U - V) color-magnitude diagram is also shown for the inner field and compared with that of a more metal rich and more metal poor cluster. Major differences in the morphology of these three diagrams are present as a function of metal abundance. From the color-color diagram the reddening in the direction of M5 is determined (E(B - V) = 0.02) as well as its metallicity ([M/H] = −1.13). The distance to M5 is then established from fitting local subdwarfs to the lower main sequence of the cluster. This yields (m - M)V = 14.3. Using the observationally determined parameters, an overlay of the appropriate VandenBerg and Bell isochrones yields an age estimate of 18 Gyrs for M5. Luminosity functions constructed from the three fields show excellent agreement through the range V = 17 to 23. Fainter than V = 23 there is some evidence for mass segregation effects due to dynamical relaxation.

O objetivo deste estudo foi desenvolver e analisar um índice de desenvolvimento rural (IDR) para as mesorregiões Norte de Minas e Jequitinhonha, buscando (i) caracterizar o meio rural das regiões estudadas; (ii) identificar e analisar as variáveis para a construção do índice; e (iii) construir um indicador sintético do desenvolvimento rural, para as mesorregiões estudadas. Os dados da pesquisa foram obtidos por meio da aplicação de questionários aos agricultores familiares nas mesorregiões Norte de Minas e Jequitinhonha, totalizando 17 municípios visitados e 216 entrevistados. A fim de atingir o objetivo proposto, os dados foram analisados tendo como base procedimentos estatísticos manipulados nos programas Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) v. 20.0® e MS Excel. Fez-se uso da estatística descritiva e da representação gráfica, gerando o diagrama de caixas (boxplot) e histogramas. O IDR sintetiza quatro indicadores considerando as dimensões social, econômica, ambiental e apropriação tecnológica. De modo geral, o IDR encontrou-se entre os níveis de desenvolvimento de baixo a moderado. Os indicadores que integraram o IDR concentraram-se em níveis baixos, sendo necessária a atuação do governo em todas as dimensões analisadas para que um número maior de agricultores familiares alcance níveis de desenvolvimento rural mais elevados. A análise por índices fornece informações para decisões sobre políticas públicas e indicam a necessidade de efetiva atuação governamental – seja concedendo subsídios, incentivos, crédito e assistência técnica –, de modo a consolidar o desenvolvimento rural sustentável nas mesorregiões Norte de Minas e Jequitinhonha.

This research was conducted to determine the feasibility of the instrument diagram representation test and the effectiveness of Multimedia Learning Modules (MLMs) integrated local wisdom in physics learning activities. The study design used a pretest-posttest control group design. The research instrument consisted of tests and non tests. The test instrument was in the form of five items arranged according to the diagram representation indicators, namely drawing diagrams and their components and performing mathematical calculations according to the diagram explanation. Non-test instrument is a questionnaire study of test instruments. The validation of the test instrument was carried out using Aiken's V. Data analysis techniques used the General Linear Model (GLM) with a significance level of 0.05 to test the effectiveness of integrated local wisdom MLMs in improving student diagram representation. The results showed that the overall item items were declared valid with Aiken's V score in the range of 0.88 to 0.92 and the integrated local wisdom MLMs were effectively used in physics learning activities to improve student diagram representation based on Mean Difference (MD) values of -54,449.

The globular cluster ω Centauri is known to be chemically inhomogeneous, a property that reveals itself via a wide giant branch in the V, B-V color-magnitude diagram (Cannon and Stobie 1973). Typically a color range of δ(B-V) = 0.3 − 0.4 exists among giants with V < 13. However, in the red R, R-I (Norris and Bessell 1975, Bessell and Norris 1976), and I, V-I (Lloyd Evans 1977) diagrams a much tighter giant branch is seen. This has lead to the suggestion (e.g. Bessell and Norris 1976) that molecular absorption in the bandpass of the B filter has significantly reddened the B-V color, and thereby produced an anomalously wide giant branch.

The CCT and two DCCT diagrams were constructed for the HSLA steel containing Cr, V, Nb, and N microadditions, taking into account industrial processing parameters of this material in a seamless tubes rolling mill. The typical finish hot rolling temperature of 1173 K was used for the construction of the standard CCT diagram and the effect of previous austenite deformation at this temperature was evaluated in the DCCT diagram. Another DCCT diagram was developed after heating at 1553 K, followed by plastic deformation at 1173 K. The prior austenite grain size in the hot rolled material after heating at 1173 K was approx. 10 ?m, the heating of the as-cast material at 1553 K resulted in the prior austenite grain size over 200 ?m. The effect of the previous austenite deformation after low-temperature heating on the CCT diagram was negligible. The high-temperature heating showed a great influence on the austenite decomposition processes. The Ferrite-start temperature was significantly reduced at high cooling rates and the preferred decomposition of coarse grained austenite to acicular ferrite suppressed the bainite transformation at medium cooling rates. The developed DCCT diagrams can be used for the prediction of austenite decomposition products during the cooling of the seamless tubes from the finish rolling temperature. The CCT diagram can be utilized for the quality heat treatment of tubes.

Este proceso garantiza la salud y la regeneración de energías que permite el desarrollo de las actividades, no solo como turista, sino como ser humano. En este contexto, el trabajo tiene como objetivo, evaluar la calidad del servicio en el proceso alimentos y bebidas de un hotel en la ciudad de Manta, para la contribución de su mejora. Se utilizaron métodos, técnicas y herramientas, como: revisión bibliográfica, entrevista, plan tipo, observación científica, revisión de documentos oficiales, diagrama de flujos, criterio de especialista, entrevista, lluvia de ideas, ponderación, estadística descriptiva, matrices. La metodología resultante es adaptable a otras entidades similares; se estructuró en cinco fases: I. Caracterización del hotel y el área de alimentos y bebidas, II. Identificación de los sub procesos asociados, III. Esquematización de los subprocesos identificados, IV Identificación de indicadores de evaluación y fase V. Medición del desempeño del proceso objeto de estudio. La aplicación a una empresa hotelera permitió en cada uno, de trece procesos correspondientes al área, la identificación de las brechas para la mejora de la prestación de los servicios afines. This process guarantees the health and regeneration of energies that allow the development of activities, not only as a tourist, but also as a human being. In this context, the work aims to evaluate the quality of the service in the food and beverage process of a hotel in the city of Manta, for the contribution of its improvement. Methods, techniques and tools were used, such as bibliographic review, interview, type plan, scientific observation, review of official documents, flow diagram, specialist criteria, interview, brainstorming, weighting, descriptive statistics, and matrices. The resulting methodology is adaptable to other similar entities; it structured in five phases: I. Characterization of the hotel and the Food and Beverage area, II. Identification of the associated sub processes, III. Schematization of the identified sub processes, IV Identification of evaluation indicators and phase V. Measurement of the performance of the process under study. The application to a hotel company allowed in each of thirteen processes corresponding to the area, the identification of gaps for the improvement of the provision of related services. The molecular discs around Young Stellar Objects can be detected through high spatial and spectral resolution observations of their position-velocity diagrams. By mapping a high lying transition of a density-tracing molecule (e.g. HON, HCO+, NH3), the lines should be optically thin and we can expect to see the signature of rotation of the protostellar accretion disc. We present single-dish observations of the S106 system which show evidence for the presence of such a rotating disc. We also discuss a simple disc model which predicts the form of the resulting 1-v diagram. With high quality data, we should be able to do the inverse problem that of recovering the disc properties from the 1-v diagram. We discuss approaches to this inverse problem both by a Singular Value Decomposition (least-squares) method, and by a Maximum Entropy Method.

All realizations are based on the notion of branched standard spine, and build on results previously obtained, Links are encoded by means of diagrams on branched spines, where the diagram is C 1 with respect to the branching. Several motivations for being interested in combinatorial realizations of the topological categories considered in this paper are given in the introduction. The encoding of links is suitable for the comparison of the framed and the pseudo-Legendrian categories, and some applications are given in connection with contact structures, torsion and finite-order invariants. An estension of Trace's notion of winding number of a knot diagram is introduced and discussed.

In this paper, by considering the irradiation-enhanced diffusion, a combination of effective free energy model and the thermodynamic model was used for studying the phase relationships in the U-Ti and U-V binary system under irradiation. The steady-state dynamical phase diagrams of U-Ti and U-V binary alloys under different irradiation intensities were calculated and compared with the conventional thermodynamic equilibrium phase diagram. The calculated results show that under irradiation the high-temperature stable (βTi, γU) and (γU,V) phases were stabilized at relatively low temperature resulting in invariant reactions at relatively low temperature. In addition, with the increase of the irradiation intensity, the temperature of the invariant reactions increased, and the phase regions of the (βTi, γU) and (γU,V) also increased.

AbstractA CCD UBVRI survey of northern open clusters is being undertaken at San Pedro Mártir, México, and performed using always the same instrumental setup (telescope, CCD, filters), reduction methods, and system of standards of Landolt (1992). To date more than 300 clusters (mostly unstudied previously) have been observed, and about half the data reduced using aperture-photometry and PSF techniques. Our analysis procedures are being refined by studying in detail a small subset of these clusters. For example, the heavily reddened clusters Be80 and Be95 are being examined in the color-color diagrams: (B-V, U-B) and (B-V, R-I) to better understand the problems of curvature and variable reddening. For clusters for which our U data reaches the F-type stars, such as NGC2192 and NGC7296, techniques are being examined for estimating both the reddening E(B-V) and metallicity [Fe/H] via the use of the (U-B) excess. If the clusters also have “red clump” stars, such as NGC1798 and Do02, these procedures can be iterated between the clump and main sequence stars to establish even better the values of E(B-V) and [Fe/H]. Finally, color-magnitude diagrams, such as (B-V, V) and (V-I, V), are being employed together with the SchmidtKaler (1982) colors and Padova isochrones of Girardi et al. (2000) to obtain distances and ages for these clusters. A java-based computer program is being developed to help in the visualization and analysis of these photometric data. This system is capable of displaying each cluster simultaneously in different color-color and color-magnitude diagrams and has an interactive way to identify a star, or group of stars, in one diagram and to see were it falls in the other diagrams, facilitating the elimination of field stars and the apperception of cluster features. This program is capable of displaying up to 16 different diagrams for one cluster and processing up to 20 clusters at the same time. Our aims are the following: (1) a common UBVRI photometric scale for open clusters, (2) an atlas of color-color and color-magnitude diagrams for open clusters, (3) a homogeneous set of cluster reddenings, distances, and ages, (4) an increased number of old and distant open clusters, and (5) a selection of interesting clusters for further study.

Thermodynamic assessment of the Al-Mo-V ternary system was performed by means of the CALPHAD (CALculation of PHAse Diagram) approach based on the thermodynamic descriptions of three constitutive binary systems (Al-Mo, Al-V and Mo-V) as well as the experimental phase equilibria data available in the literature. The solution phases, i.e. liquid, bcc (Mo, V) and fcc (Al), were described using the substitutional solution models with the Redlich-Kister equation. The binary phases in the Al-Mo and Al-V systems with the solubilities of the third element were modeled using the sublattice models. An optimal set of thermodynamic parameters for the Al-Mo-V system was obtained. Six isothermal sections at 1200, 1000, 750, 715, 675 and 630?C and liquidus projection with isotherm were calculated. The reaction scheme for the entire Al-Mo-V system was also constructed. Comparisons between the calculated and measured phase diagrams indicated that almost all the reliable experimental information was satisfactorily accounted for by the present modeling.

In this paper, we study analytically a one-dimensional half-filled Hubbard model with nearest-neighbor Coulomb repulsion (V) and anisotropic spin exchange (J⊥ ≠ Jz) via the bosonization and renormalization-group (RG) techniques, and establish the rich phase diagrams based on the charge-spin separation hypothesis in the weak-coupling regime. The spin exchange anisotropy induces a non-critical behavior of spin correlations. The result indicates that the spin exchange anisotropy has an important impact on the topological phase diagram of the 1D extended Hubbard model.

El movimiento del suelo en las regiones próximas a la fuente sísmica puede presentar características impulsivas debido a los efectos de directividad de la ruptura. Así, los registros de aceleración cercanos a las fallas sismogénicas presentan grandes amplitudes; pero es en la historia de tiempo de las velocidades del suelo donde el carácter impulsivo se hace más evidente a través pulsos de velocidad de gran amplitud y largos períodos. Estos pulsos son los responsables de las altas demandas y daños en las estructuras. En la última década los dispositivos de aislamiento sísmico han alcanzado gran auge tanto a nivel de investigación y desarrollo con en las aplicaciones prácticas en edificios como un medio eficaz de protección sísmica. Esencialmente la técnica consiste en disponer aisladores de baja rigidez como interface entre las cimentaciones y el cuerpo del edificio de manera que se logra concentrar las deformaciones en él a la vez que se alarga el periodo estructural en busca de menores ordenadas del espectro de diseño. Esta metodología puede no resultar eficiente cuando la estructura es emplazada en una zona expuesta a terremotos de campo cercano; los dispositivos de aislamiento pueden llevar el periodo estructural a la región espectral dominada por los pulsos de velocidad y por consiguiente más severa. En este trabajo se presenta una metodología que permite determinar las regiones de los espectros de aceleración que están dominadas por los pulsos de velocidad que contiene el movimiento del suelo. Consiste en el trazado de un diagrama compuesto Velocidad del suelo - Espectro de respuesta - Tiempo de ocurrencia de la respuesta máxima (V-E-T). El objetivo del estudio fue proponer la redistribución en el almacén de equipamiento que se relaciona con la productividad de la empresa Pelayo S.A.C. El diseño de investigación fue no experimental longitudinal, la población y muestra fue de 60 trabajadores. La recolección de datos de las variables hizo uso de la técnica de la encuesta. También se aplicó el análisis producto-cantidad para obtener la clasificación ABC de los materiales, equipos y herramientas que permitió una rápida identificación de los estantes principales, el análisis de espacios y relaciones permitió colocar estratégicamente los estantes y disponer de las áreas del almacén con el diagrama de relaciones y el layout que permitió representar el layout inicial, layout propuesto A y layout propuesto B, que después de ser analizadas y comparadas dio como resultado que, efectivamente, contribuye en la productividad de la empresa. Los cálculos se realizaron con el software estadístico Minitab v.17 para el análisis producto-cantidad y el WinQSB para el layout. La propuesta de redistribución inicial tuvo 6695.955 m de recorrido, 1h:40min:12s y 314 despachos/hora; la propuesta de redistribución A: 6004,55 m; 1h:30m:4s y 350 despachos/hora aumenta en un 11,46% la productividad con un ahorro aproximado de S/.16 458.00 por año y la propuesta de redistribución B: 6258.755 m; 1h:33m:53s y 336 despachos/hora, aumenta en un 7,01% la productividad con un ahorro aproximado de S/. 9 874.80 por año. Se concluyó que la propuesta de redistribución en el almacén de equipamiento se relaciona con la productividad de la empresa Pesquera Pelayo S.A.C.

Our program is based on photographic and photoelectric UBV photometry of globular cluster stars with the Soviet 6 m telescope. M 10 = NGC 6254 remains, regretfully, the only cluster for which we were able to gain photoelectric observational material sufficient for calibration of the photographic photometry for faint stars. Samus and Shugarov (1983) presented for M 10 a V, (B - V) diagram showing an unusually large magnitude difference between the main sequence turn-off point and the horizontal branch, V(TO) - V(HB) ≍ 3.8 mag. It seemed of interest to compare M 10 and M 12 by their values of V(TO) - V(HB). A preliminary calibration of the faint star photographic photometry in M 12 leads to V(TO) - V(HB) ≍ 4 mag (Mironov et al., 1984). One may notice that in the classification introduced by Mironov and Samus (1974, 79), which is based mainly on the horizontal-branch morphology, both M 10 and M 12 belong to group I, presumably the older group. V, (B-V) diagrams were also published by us for NGC 288 and M 2 = NGC 7089 (Samus and Shugarov 1978, 79).

Identifying the spiral nature of the distribution of gas in the Galaxy has been a subject of much research in the past thirty years. The position of the sun in the disk of the Galaxy presents us with a problem of perspective: how does one identify the cloud system from within the system? Longitude-velocity (l-v) diagrams have been used to try to determine the distribution of interstellar gas, but problems inherent in the methods have been pointed out previously (Burton 1971). Recent Galactic CO surveys have been used in attempts to map the distribution of molecular cloud complexes in the disk of the Galaxy (Dame, et al. 1986). Here, we use numerical simulations of the molecular cloud system in a spiral galaxy to consider the following question: to what extent can concentrations of emission in the l-v diagram (LVCs) be considered complexes of gas in the disk of the Galaxy (GMCs)?

The features of carrying out an autotechnical expertise (ATE) are considered in case the vehicles (V) participating in the road transport accident (RTA) don’t leave skid imprints. The examples of momentum and energy conservation law application are given at developing the road accident mathematical model. Special attention is paid to the determination methods of vehicle (V) velocity, travel directions in various RTA diagrams and archeology of deformation. For this purpose it is offered to draw a momentum vector diagram. It is reasonable that for the calculation of V deformation at RTA it is necessary to determine step by step the strain-stress state in a contact area on the basis of the theories of elasticity, plasticity, solid friction and finite-element methods. The technique of constructing an RTA mathematical model is developed. It is recommended to use at ATE of RTAs at the runs-over into the fixed obstacle (a stationary V) and collisions.

The possibility of chaotic motions in MR suspension is discovered by employing nonlinear systems stability theory. With the bifurcation diagram and corresponding Lyapunov exponent spectrum diagrams detected through numerical calculation, we can observe the complex dynamical behaviors and oscillating mechanism of alternating periodic oscillations, quasi-periodic oscillations and chaotic oscillations with different profiles of road excitation, as well as the dynamical evolution to chaos by period-doubling bifurcations, saddle-node bifurcations and reverse period-doubling bifurcations.

Abstract:
Целью настоящей работы было термографическое исследование T-x диаграммы системы Ga – Se в диапазоне температур от 500 до 1100 °С и в диапазоне составов от 48.0 до 61.5 mol % Se. Методом исследования являлся дифференциальный термический анализ c компьютерной регистрацией данных. Получены свидетельства о наличии ретроградного солидуса фазы g-GaSe со стороны селена (с областью гомогенности в несколько десятых mol % при температурах выше эвтектической) и о независимом существовании близких по составу фаз e-GaSe и g-GaSe. При этом более богатая галлием фаза e-GaSe испытывает перитектический распад с образованием расплава (L2) и g-GaSe. Для темпера-туры предполагаемой перитектической реакции получено значение 921 ±2 °С. Вместе стем, на данном этапе работ не получено никаких данных в пользу существования ожидавшейся (по аналогии с системой Ga – S) высокотемпературной модификации, близкой по составу к сесквиселениду галлия (Ga2S3). 320 blue stars of the Giclas and Luyten catalogues with positions δ 15° and magnitudes have been observed photometrically in UBVRI and Stromgren colours with the ESO lm telescope at La Silla in order to increase the number of close-by white dwarfs. From their Strömgren colours more than 120 stars belong to the white dwarf region. But, as outlined by Rupprecht and Bues (1983), a combination of the photometric systems and the combined two-colour diagrams (R−I)/(U−V) and (R−I) / (u−b) provide additional information on binary components. Fig.1 shows a sample in the (R−I)/(u−b)diagram. For (u−b) <.2 and (R−I) <.2 a second component is present.

AM-2 is a sparse cluster located at low galactic latitude. It has been suspected to be a globular cluster. We present a study of AM-2 based on the deep UBVI CCD photometry obtained using the Las Campanas duPont 2.5m telescope. The color-magnitude diagrams of AM-2 show (a) a main-sequence extending up to V ≈ 19 mag at (B – V) ≈ 1.1 mag, (b) a small number of red giant clump giants, (c) the brightest red giant at V ≈ 16.1 mag and (B – V) ≈ 1.9 mag, and (d) a small group of mysterious blue stars at V ≈ 16.6 mag and (B – V) ≈ 0.9 mag. We have estimated the reddening using the color-color diagram, E(B – V) = 0.56 ± 0.04. The metallicity of the main-sequence stars has been estimated from the ultraviolet excess, δ(U – B)0.6 = 0.09 ± 0.04, to be [Fe/H] = −0.4 ± 0.2 dex. The distance to the cluster has been measured using the Zero-Age-Main-Sequence fitting method, (m – M)0 = 14.8 ± 0.3 (d = 9.1 ± 1.4 kpc). Finally we have estimated the age of the cluster using the Revised Yale isochrones and the Morphological Age Ratio (MAR) method, obtaining a value of 5 ± 1 Gyrs (Fig. 1). This shows that AM-2 is not a globular cluster, but an old open cluster.

These algebras are the centralizer algebras of the group Gn := (ℤ2 × ℤ2)≀Sn acting on V⊗k, where V is the signed permutation module for Gn These algebras have been realized as subalgebras of the extended G-vertex colored partition algebras introduced by Parvathi and Kennedy in [7]. In this paper we give a combinatorial rule for the decomposition of the tensor powers of the signed permutation representation of Gn by explicitly constructing the basis for the irreducible modules. In the process we also give the basis for the irreducible modules appearing in the decomposition of V⊗k in [5]. We then use this rule to describe the Bratteli diagram of Klein-4 diagram algebras.

Depending on pH, potential and total concentration of inorganic ions and organic ligands, vanadium compounds may undergo various transformations to produce a whole range of chemical forms in aqueous systems. In this paper, a novel approach has been applied for calculating potential-pH (Pourbaix) diagrams, based on the developed thermodynamic analysis of chemical equilibria in the V–H2O system. On the basis of currently revised thermodynamic data for V(III), V(IV) and V(V) hydrolysis and original thermodynamic and graphical approach used, the repartition of their soluble and insoluble chemical species has been investigated. By means of ΔG–pH diagrams, the areas of thermodynamic stability of V(IV) and V(V) hydroxides have been established for a number of analytical concentrations of vanadium in heterogeneous mixtures. The obtained results, based on the thermodynamic analysis and graphic design of calculated data, are in good agreement with available experimental data.
