Abstract:
The origin of didactics as a science discipline dates from as far back as the ancient slave states, so the very term didactics (didaskein) comes from the ancient Greek language, meaning to teach. This term later underwent certain changes and the term didactica (didactics) originated in Latin. Today, all scientific vocabulary comes from these two languages (Latin and Greek). The first, more precise definition of this concept was given by Wolfgang Ratke (1571-1635) and John Amos Comenius (1592-1670), who are also considered the founders of didactics. The aim of this paper is to emphasize the importance of didactic principles and the great importance and contribution of Comenius as their founder and the founder of didactics in general. We have to mention that Comenius dedicated his entire life and work to the search for the overall improvement of the teaching process and the education of people, and how successful he was can be seen in the fact that his didactic principles still stand the test of time. He is considered to be one of the greatest educational reformers.

Abstract:
he purpose of this study was to analyze the barriers to learning three-dimensional distance material using Didactical Design Research (DDR). The subjects of this study were two groups of class 12. The instruments used in this study were pretest (initial test) and post test (final test) which consisted of a test of the respondent’s ability, interview sheets, and observation notes. The data obtained were analyzed using three DDR steps: (1) didactic situation analysis by recontextualizing, repersonalizing, and developing didactic designs which include PDA (Pedagogical Didactic Anticipation); (2) metapedadidactic analysis by applying PDA; and (3) retrospective analysis linking didactic and metapedadidactic situations. The results showed that the identified learning obstacles can be anticipated by using PDA. The application of the didactic learning design shows that this design can be an alternative to third-dimensional distance learning in grade 12 because it can minimize student learning barriers that have been identified previously.

Abstract:
This study aims to develop didactic design on counting rules for senior high school. The didactic design is designed by considering two things the result of the test analysis of learning obstacle instrument and learning trajectory. This didactic design consists of four meetings obtained through the three formal stages performed in the study. The first stage is prospective ie didactic situation analysis before learning in the form of hypothetical didactic design including pedagogical didactic anticipation (ADP), second phase metaped analysis is notthe form of design implementation phase, and last stage is retrospective analysis which is an analysis that relate result of prospective analysis with metaped analysis nottik used to formulate empirik design. The research for preparing the didactic design begins with the provision of difficulties in learning the material of the counting rules and the analysis of the teaching materials. The results of the learning obstacle test show that students experience learning barriers that are categorized into three, namely ontogenic obstacle, didactical obstacle, and epistemological obstacle. The didactic design was implemented to 35 students of class XI in one of the senior high school in South Jakarta. Based on the results of research, didactic design developed this can be used as an alternative teaching materials concept of counting rules to minimize student learning barriers.

Abstract:
Abstract. This research is motivated by the epistemological difficulties of students in mathematical concepts. This research aims to make a didactic design in courses of Mathematics Basic Concepts. The method used in this research is Didactic Design Research (DDR). This research was conducted at the University majoring in Elementary School Teacher Education in the first semester in Riau, who attended in courses of Mathematics Basic Concepts as many as 43 students. Data collection techniques in this research were carried out by triangulation which is a combination of written tests, interviews and documentation studies, with data sources of students and lecturers. The results of the study were didactic designs consisting of three learning designs. Didactic design was developed through three stages. Firstly arranging an initial didactic design based on student difficulties, secondly a methapedadidactic analysis is carried out while learning takes place and thirdly a retrospective analysis is done by comparing the results of the initial obstacle learning test and the results of the final obstacle learning test. The retrospective analysis carried out by comparing the results of the initial obstacle learning test and the results of the final obstacle learning test. Result shows that there are fewer student learning difficulties and some are still happening, so that a revised didactic design is needed to improve the initial didactic design so that student learning difficulties can be overcome. The results of the didactic design implementation of students' mathematical reasoning concepts are in accordance with the predictions of the responses made. Keywords: Didactic Design, Mathematical Reasoning, Learning Obstacle, Retrospective Analysis.

Abstract:

This study aims to create a didactic design in an effort to overcome the learning obstacle through DDR (Didactical Design Research) in learning multiplication of two matrices through prospective, meta-pedadidactic, and retrospective analysis stages. Data collection using the following techniques: 1) observation, namely observing learning activities, analyzing teaching materials and learning implementation plans used by teachers in classroom learning; 2) tests in the form of diagnostic tests for students to determine the learning obstacle, prerequisite ability tests, and final identification tests; 3) interviews with mathematics subject teachers by asking questions that lead to student difficulties and teacher difficulties in delivering mathematics learning material; and 4) instructional videos in the learning process. The data were analyzed to find a learning obstacle and based on these findings, a was prepared Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT)which was outlined in a hypothetical didactic design. The didactic design that has been designed is implemented to test as well as validate HLT. The results of the instructional video recordings were analyzed in the meta-pedadactic stage. The didactic design of the two matrix multiplication material contains didactic anticipation that can be an alternative for the teacher when facing situations and responses that may occur.

Abstract:
One way that can be done in overcoming these students' learning difficulties is by making improvements related to the teaching materials presented. This is done so that students can understand the concept of linear programming that is not textual. Therefore, this research was developed to develop a design of teaching materials (didactic design) that is more relevant for students so that students' learning difficulties can be overcome. Abstract is different from summary. The research method used is qualitative research methods with design research using Didactical Design Research (DDR). The subjects in this study were 37 high school students in class X in one of the schools in Kabupaten Cirebon. This study has three important stages, namely, preparing ADP, metapedadidactic analysis, and retrospective analysis. The results obtained in this study are that the didactic design was developed with four didactic situations to solve students' difficulties in determining the optimum value of the problem using the test point method and the probing line method.

Abstract:
Multimedia engineers develop digital content in a wide range of fields that require them to acquire skills in the development of web solutions for those fields. In this study, we evaluated the level of didactic knowledge of mathematics that Multimedia Engineering degree students possess. The aim was to determine whether they are prepared to conceive, design and develop educational multimedia tools for teaching mathematics to primary school children. For this evaluation, the Didactic–Mathematical Knowledge and Elementary Algebraic Reasoning (DMK/EAR) test was carried out on a sample of 50 students in the second year of a Multimedia Engineering Degree. The results were compared with those of teacher training students who receive specific training in mathematics didactics. The study shows that, for most of the variables analysed, the Multimedia student scored better or comparatively equal to the teaching trainee. In conclusion, students of Multimedia Engineering have a solid foundation in the didactics of mathematics, although some deficiencies have been detected in the cognitive dimension and the content in structures, which indicate that they would need to complete their training in these areas.

According to the low performance achieved by a significant number of participants in writing texts, such as ENEM, this thesis aims to verify the theoretical-methodological guidelines, for the teaching text production, held in the main official teaching documents, have repercussions on the textual production proposals of the textbooks of Portuguese Language in High School. In order to do so, we analyzed the proposals for the production of texts presented by two Portuguese textbooks which are most widely used in the country in 2015, by students of the public teaching system: Português linguagens (CEREJA & MAGALHÃES, 2013) and Novas Palavras (AMARAL, et al, 2013).It is a qualitative-quantitative-interpretative research, based on the sociointeractionist theory of teaching, proposed by Bakhtin / Volochinov (1992, 2003), more specifically, in his concepts about interaction and discourse genres. In addition, the theoretical framework of research is composed by scholars like Dolz and Schneuwly (2004), Geraldi (1984, 1991), Marcuschi (2008), among others. The analyzes of the text l production text proposals on these manuals revealed significant differences between the two textbooks: the Português Linguagens book considers almost all the theoretical and methodological orientations of the PCNEM, etc. for the teaching of the textual production. Furthermore, it proposes the teaching of a variety of discursive genres, which allows not only a broader formation to the learner, but also favors the formation of the competent writers of texts. In the Novas Palavras book, these theoreticalmethodological orientations or the ‘conditions of the text production' are, practically, ignored in the commands of the textual proposal productions, since it prevails, on this manual, practices of text writings, almost exclusively, for the accomplishment of tests of the vestibular exams and the writing test of ENEM. Because of this, we believe that the way this book proposes the teaching content does not favor the formation of the competent writer of texts The analyzes of these manuals also point to the need for a greater commitment to the part of the authors of didactic books, regarding the way these books have been altered or updated, over the years, from one edition to another. Finally, the investigations revealed the existence of a significant number of teachers who, despite the theoretical and methodological guidelines of the official teaching documents, still choose to work with the teaching of this content, having as support the didactic books materials which ignore the conditions of text production.

Abstract:
Although the works of Christine de Pizan have been of interest to scholars for some time, technological advances and initiatives to make digital copies of manuscripts available online have only recently enabled close comparisons between the visual programmes of her works to be made. This thesis demonstrates that detail usually considered secondary or 'paratextual' in Christine's manuscripts actually formed a carefully-constructed part of the work itself that Christine explicitly asks her audience to read. Through 'reading' the text and image simultaneously, the visual programme proves to comprise additional layers of meaning that were woven into her didactic works. These meanings can serve to supplement the educational and moral aims of the works, or, conversely, can be inconsistent with the message conveyed in the text, leading the reader-viewer to contemplate further on the matters presented and form their own opinions on them. Sometimes, meaning is created by intervisual connections with pre-existing iconography, such that viewers may be creating associations between the miniatures seen in Christine's manuscripts and other imagery, leading them to make certain associations - this is notably the case in author-portraits of Christine. As manuscripts prepared under the author's supervision came to be copied, changes were made to the iconographic programmes, testifying to and enabling different types of readings to take place. The findings of this thesis have implications for editorial practices of medieval works in general, as these tend to circulate in editions without the visual programme, providing modern readers with only a partial view of the complete work.

Abstract:
The thesis is made up by four studies, on the comprehensive theme of integrated and subject-specific science education in Swedish compulsory school. A literature study on the matter is followed by an expert survey, then a case study and ending with two analyses of students' science results from PISA 2003 and PISA 2006. The first two studies explore similarities and differences between integrated and subject-specific science education, i.e. Science education and science taught as Biology, Chemsitry and Physics respectively. The two following analyses of PISA 2003 and PISA 2006 data put forward the question whether there are differences in results of students' science literacy scores due to different types of science education. The expert survey compares theories of integration to the Swedish science education context. Also some difference in intention, in the school case study, some slight differences in the way teachers plan the science education are shown, mainly with respect to how teachers involve students in their planning. The statistical analysis of integrated and subject-specific science education comparing students' science results from PISA 2003 shows no difference between students or between schools. The analysis of PISA 2006, however, shows small differences between girls' results with integrated and subject-specific science education both in total scores and in the three scientific literacy competencies. No differences in boys' results are shown on different science education.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis is focused on an enterprise education. There are theoretical outcomes of the particular issue included in the first part of the thesis. This part deals with a basic terminology definition as well as with an explanation of the meaning of an enterprise education and subjects that deal with its development. The first part of the thesis also deals with current enterprise education projects that are being in progress not only in the Czech Republic but also all over the European Union and international organizations. The goal of the empirical part is to analyze a particular educational program and to evaluate up to which level an enterprise issue in general is included. Another aim is to get to know the students attitude towards the enterprise and to check their knowledge about the business skill. For this purpose a didactic test had been created according to an educational program. This test has proven that the business knowledge level is not satisfying. Therefore, the aim of this part is also to design a recommendation of possible modification to improve the educational process that would lead students to a bigger interest in the issue of business, to be more independent, active and creative.

Abstract:
The following study examines the construction of the national tests in history. The study has analyzed the work processes of the construction of the test at different moments, such as design, conduct and evaluation, from the perspective of the test designers and the test manager at the National Agency for Education. The purpose is to see how the test designers’ previous experiences are reflected in the work process with national test and what problems, challenges and limitations they have in their work. The study is based on qualitative interviews and has used the validity theory as an analytical framework. The results show, among other things, that the work process of the national tests begins with the group interpreting the curriculum for history. The interpretation is written down in the so-called construct which is sent to the National Agency for Education for further review. The test designers performed various evaluations of the tests throughout the whole work process. The National Agency for Education conducted a large survey after completing tests that the teachers answer. The results also show different limitations, problems, and challenges of the test design. The framework of the test limits for example the design; what the test should look like, pictures and question construction, it systematizes the test. The processes of the conduction of the test in schools is also completely controlled by the National Agency for Education and the test does not necessarily reflect the teaching that is conducted in the classroom. Another problem is that communication with the active teachers is rather one-sided. Challenges that the test designers face includes setting grade requirements and stable results.

The objective of this dissertation is to study the way that matters of argumentation and tests in a didactic collection for average education are dealt, and aims to contribute with the Argumentation and Test in Scholar Mathematics Project (AProvaME). This concerns a documentary research that aims, by means of the use of categories of the available literature related to the idea of argumentation and test, to investigate the matter: How the chosen collection deals with the Argumentation and Test issue. After the survey of tests and exercises presented in the didactic collection of some selected contents, we conclude that, in Algebra, the collection presents a pedagogical boarding that emphasizes the intellectual test. When the subject is Geometry, the emphasis is in the pragmatic test. In the point of view of the purpose of the exercises, the analysis showed that the tasks for learning of the writing predominate for both Algebra and Geometry. We observed that the characteristics presented in the tasks found in the collection confirm aspects we judged relevant when choosing the collection for analysis

Abstract:
This study focuses on tests and assessment in social science in the upper secondary school in Sweden. Testing has an effect on how students learn and on the information and knowledge they retain. Different forms of examination encourage different styles of learning and the type of test used also influence the perception students have on a subject. From a didactical perspective, based on a curriculum theory, the aim of this study is to examine teacher constructed tests and to analyze the construction and different reflections on the school subject social science. The tests analyzed are compared with the content of the formal curriculum. The findings indicate that the tests contain only a few of the goals in the formal curriculum. The curriculum does not seem to have a major influence on the setting of the test and its content. It is rather some kind of subject tradition that appears in the examinations. The dominant subject fields are political science and economics. Three subject profiles were found in the tests. The students are expected to orientate themselves with the subject and learn some basic facts. However, there are also questions which give the students opportunities to analyze different phenomenon and discuss several issues. The tests vary, for example in theoretical programs the content requires students to use the factual knowledge rather than rote learning. The questions are more theoretical and advanced compared with the tests that have been used within vocational programs.

Strand, Tomas.

AbstractThe results presented in the preceding sections were primarily aimed at developing a test on professional competence of pre-service teachers specifically for teaching mathematical modelling. In a first step, the theoretical foundations were laid and, based on this, the structure of professional competence used for teaching mathematical modelling was explained. Subsequently, the relevant constructs were operationalised and empirically checked. The results of the analyses presented regarding the test quality are summarised below and are classified in the current state of research to discuss possible explanations for the observed results on this basis. In order to further define the scope of the results, key limits of the test instrument in relation to the present study will be addressed. The book concludes with an outlook, in which possible implications are derived from this study for didactic research as well as for university teacher education.

Abstract:
This contribution presents some aspects of the Department Interdisciplinary Research Project (PRID) of Roma Tre University. The main aim of the project is to define an innovative e-learning integrated didactic model that can promote the acquisition and development of skills for Lifelong Learning (European Parliament & European Council, 2008). To this end, the implementation of the following essential variables and components of the Integrated Model is a priority: 1) the learners’ motivational involvement; 2) the quality of the experience of immersion within a virtual environment; 3) evaluation and self-evaluation practices. Considering the original model successfully experimented in the Degree Course in Education Sciences at “Roma Tre” University (Domenici, 2016) and particularly focused on evaluation and self-evaluation processes, we propose an implementation of so-called affective usability of the e-learning platform by creating relaxing, stimulating and aesthetic online environments, promoting a greater immersive capacity. To this must be added the students’ use of advanced ICT programs enabling them to experience scientific demonstrations and experiments in order to acquire a scientific mentality through the use of Context Simulation Tests and Virtual Didactic Laboratories (VDLs). The effectiveness of implementing the FAD e-learning system in acquiring the scientific thinking modality will be empirically assess.

Abstract:
The IEEE Test Feeders are used in general for power flow testing methods. However the studies of it can be extended to other applications, as power system protection. This paper proposes an overcurrent protection (OCP) coordination for IEEE 34-Node Radial Test Feeder, based on the protection philosophies commonly used in Brazil, by a practical and didactic methodology. The OCP coordination proposed consist in two reclosers (R), one at substation and other at the middle of the main trunk, and fuses at the laterals. The recloser-recloser, recloser-fuse and fuse-fuse coordinations are presented and discussed. The methodology and the OCP devices used may be extended to others IEEE or real feeders. Moreover, this OCP scheme may be used as a start point to evaluate the impacts of high penetration of distributed energy resources on this feeder.

Abstract:
The impact of rapid prototyping on undergraduate engineering universities using a single machine or a wide variety of prototyping techniques is a lot discussed by many authors. In the past, manufacturing real models using a variety of model creation processes has enhanced graduate students' product design skills. The main advantage is the ability to verify different hypotheses research parameters and allow for improved project completion, reducing the costs of manufacturing instrumentation and test configurations, reducing the design-test-review cycle time, and presenting students with classes more practices and research problems. Thus, the experimental study through the reduced model of the rotor of a hydraulic turbine has its importance based on the fact that it is possible to analyze its behavior in the laboratory itself. The present work aimed to design, model and manufacture, through a 3D printer, a reduced model of the Pelton turbine rotor for didactic use. The turbine rotor was dimensioned based on the project input data such as: head drop, turbine power, engine speed, pressure coefficient and efficiency. The rotor disk diameter of 375.75 mm was obtained, where 25 shells will be assembled. The manufactured model will be printed to compose a didactic bench later built for use in practical classes. This bench will be a tool for experimental research studies, and also as a didactic resource in subjects such as fluid mechanics and flow machines, taught in the undergraduate course in Mechanical Engineering, as a way of internalizing the content learned in the classroom.
