The aim of this paper is to examine the whereabouts of Hesiod’s life (days) and the most of his important works which is entitled, “Works and Days”. The first part of the paper examines Hesiod’s life and education. It is claimed that he was educated by his father who knew the Aeolian dialect as he migrated from Aeolia of Asia Minor to Boeotia of Central Eastern Greece.
