We documented terrestrial micromammal assemblages at five localities of southwestern Mendoza province, Argentina. We added new localities for several of the most uncommon small mammal species of this region (e.g. Loxodontomys micropus and Tympanoctomys barrerae). Two main groups of terrestrial non-volant micromammals are represented in southwestern province of Mendoza: one group is related to the South American arid diagonal, and includes species typically adapted to the xeric environments of the Monte Desert; a second group includes Patagonian and High Andean species.

Data on the reproductive biology and laboratory management of Philander frenata are presented here. Sensory contact before pairing increased breeding success and reduced aggression between pairs. Gestation period was 13–14 days, with a post-lactation oestrous. Births occurred only between August and February. Mean litter size at birth and at weaning was 5.5 (SD=2.4) and 4.0 (SD=1.9), respectively. Sex ratio at birth was statistically biased toward males. The timing of weaning was established at between 70 and 80 days old, with the young weighing from 24 g to 49 g.

Twenty two Amblyomma Koch species were occasionally found on Didelphimorphia Gill, but some records are doubtful (i.e., A. dissimile Koch, 1844) and only A. fuscum Neumann, 1907 appears to be a relevant parasite of this type of host. Twelve species of Ixodes Latreille were determined on these hosts, although one of them, I. longiscutatus Boero, 1944, is probably misidentified. Four species, I.

Abstract:
Abstract Dental anomalies have been documented in almost all mammalian orders, and include supernumerary or missing teeth, teeth with aberrant occlusal surfaces and/or roots and teeth in unusual positions. Our objectives were the description and categorization of dental anomalies in all species of the genus Caluromys. We studied 462 crania, recorded and classified dental anomalies in four categories: variations in occlusal/root morphology; teeth in unusual positions; supernumerary/missing teeth; presence of unshed deciduous premolars. We found anomalies in all species, with a percentage rangin
