Abstract:
It is revealed, that the level of leptin were in direct correlations with BMI and GVFT and the leptin level correlated with the general volume of fatty tissue to a greater extent. Patients with bronchial asthma and obesity had twice as high leptin level as patients with asthma and normal body mass did. Conclusion. Serum leptin level was multiplied as far as the increase of BMI and GVFT. When you are citing the document, use the following link http://essuir.sumdu.edu.ua/handle/123456789/22155

Abstract:
The prevalence of childhood overweight is a major social and public health issue, and primary assessment should focus on early and middle childhood, because weight gain in these phases constitutes a strong predictor of subsequent negative outcomes. Studies on community samples have shown that growth curves may follow linear or non-linear trajectories from early to middle childhood, and can differ based on sex. Overweight children may exhibit a combination of physiological and psychosocial issues, and several studies have demonstrated an association between overweight and internalizing/ex

Abstract:
Pomacea bridgesii is a snail species native to tropical and sub-tropical regions, where it usually faces variability in water, temperature and oxygen level. This study of the effect of temperature on mass-specific oxygen consumption (ṀO2) and its relation to body weight shows that the ṀO2 of juvenile snails in normoxia (18-21 kPa) acclimated at temperature of 25°C ranged from 5 to 58 µMol O2/g/h, with a mean of 41.4 ± 18.3 µMol O2/g/h (n=7). Adult snails in normoxia at 25°C show less variation, ranging from 13 to 23 µMol O2/g/h , with a mean of 24.4± 6.1 µMol O2/g/h (n=12). The Q10 value f

The impact of body image-related variables in eating psychopathology may be influenced by different emotion regulation processes. This study aims to clarify the distinct effect of cognitive fusion and body appreciation, in the relationship between body image discrepancy and disordered eating, while controlling the effect of BMI in a sample of 369 women. The model explained 67% of eating psychopathology’s variance and results, tested via path analysis, indicated that women who perceived their body as significantly discrepant from the social and culturally ideal thin figure, have a greater tende
