Abstract:
With the liberalisation of the Indian banking sector in 2014, the digital payment ecosystem has undergone a steady transformation which can be attributed to the usage of new technologies like Automated Teller Machines (ATM) and Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR). Digital payment systems offer convenience and security while transacting. In 2010, a variety of payment products (stored value cards, wallets, and recharge vouchers) and service providers were introduced. The launching of Digital India in 2015, gave a further boost to the digitalization process. Initiatives have been taken to improve the payment infrastructure to make technology accessible and cost-effective. This study examines the growth of digital payments in India, growth in different modes of payment in India as well as growth in Indian Payment Infrastructures. For this study, data has been compiled from RBI Bulletin, RBI Annual Reports, RBI Reports and authentic websites. The analysis of Payment and Settlement System Statistics revealed exponential growth in the usage of various modes of digital payment. RBI has constructed Digital Payment Index (DPI) with a base period of March 2018 and a DPI score of 100. The high DPI scores released by RBI revealed the widespread use and deepening of digital payments in India. This has been made possible by the Government of India's and the RBI's consistent efforts to improve Payment Infrastructure. The study found that India is experiencing robust growth in the digital payments arena.

Abstract:
When the Covid Pandemic hit, many changes occurred in human life. Various activities in everyday life had to be limited. including one of them in the payment transaction. Digital payments are one of the solutions that are considered the safest during a pandemic. Digital payments are very popular, especially among the younger generation, including ITB students. Students have made transactions using digital payment platforms, such as Go-Pay, OVO, mobile banking, and so on. Students have a fairly high intensity in using digital payment platforms, especially in shopping transactions of 85%. In terms of purchase transactions, food & beverage purchase transactions are in first place, and clothing and shoes purchase transactions are in second place. Ease of payment, and feeling more comfortable, as well as promos and discounts, are the three main reasons for using digital payment platforms. However, the use of digital payment platforms does not make students better at managing finances. With a digital payment platform, students become increasingly consumptive. However, digital payment platforms are very helpful in tracking expenses and income.

<p><em>The payment system at Dayanu Ikhsanuddin University (Unidayan) is done manually by taking a payment slip at the financial counter, then making payments at the designated bank, such as payment of tuition fees, KKN, graduation, PBL, PPL, and final project or thesis. Payment methods like this make students often experience difficulties in making payments, causing discomfort and tend to delay payments. This study aims to apply the QR Code system in the digital payment process on campus. The research method used is the waterfall model. The method implements a sequential software life flow, starting from analysis, design, coding, and testing. This research produces a digital payment application on the Unidayan campus by implementing a QR Code system which can later make it easier for students to make payments by making a top-up and then scanning the QR code. thus it can help the finance department get data on students who have or have not paid tuition fees, namely SPP, KKN, Graduation, PBL, and Final Projects or Thesis.</em></p>

Abstract:
In this era, the global COVID-19 pandemic has hit the economy hard. In the context of great challenges to sustainable economic development, it is of great practical significance to study how digital payment can promote consumer demand and sustainable economic development. From the perspective of sustainable economic development, this paper selects panel data of various provinces in China from 2011 to 2020 to test the correlation between digital payment and consumer demand by constructing econometric models and selecting relevant indicators, so as to reveal the impact of digital payment on consumer demand and sustainable economic development. Research shows that: (1) in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, digital payments play a special and very important role in promoting household consumption and sustainable economic development; (2) the empirical results show that digital payment has a significant positive impact on consumer demand, which indicates that digital payment has an obvious promotion effect on consumer demand; (3) further research shows that the impact of digital payment on consumer demand has obvious heterogeneity. From the perspective of regional differences, digital payment has a significant positive impact on consumer demand in the eastern and western regions, while the impact is not obvious in the northeast and central regions, even though it also has a positive impact. From the perspective of urban-rural differences, digital payment has a significant impact on consumer demand in both urban and rural areas, and this impact is greater in rural areas than in urban areas. However, from the perspective of development stage, the stage characteristics of digital payment’s impact on consumer demand in each region are not obvious, which may be caused by the short sample range. In addition, this paper also puts forward relevant suggestions for other countries to learn from.

Payment of receivables collection at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (IndiHome) has a payment system that follows the times. Payment Collection is one part of the company that is in charge of processing monitoring and billing data for consumers who are negligent in making payments and making reports on billing evidence, reports of consumer internet disturbances and then input into the data system which will later be seen by the regional. This study aims to see which is more effective and efficient between cash payments and non-cash payments (digital). This study uses qualitative methods with primay data types. Based on the research results, IndiHome payment transactions, both cash and non-cash, have their respective advantages and disadvantages. IndiHome payments in cash can be said to be effective because customers get payment receipts in detail, clearly and transparently. However, cash payments cannot be said to be efficient because it uses such a long process. One of them is that customers have to come and queue to pay monthly for IndiHome and this can take a long time, requires energy and money. In contrast to non- cash payments (digital). Non-effective payments have not been said to be effective because of frequent errors in making payments such as different bills, bills that do not appear, and excess payments. However, for the efficiency of digital payments, it is said to be quite efficient because the payment process is quite easy and fast. Digital payments can be made anywhere and anytime.

Sehingga memudahkan dalam hal pembayaran dan laporan transaksi. Kata kunci: ar-raihan, outlet, payment gateway. Abstract: Payment gateways are becoming very popular during a pandemic like today. With a payment gateway, we can make payments anywhere without having to use physical money. This was supported by government policies to reduce physical encounters with other people. Ar-Raihan Banyuwangi is one of the outlets that provide retail and cafe services that offer a lot of goods so that many transactions are carried out every day. With such circumstances, to support government policy a payment method is needed that does not require the meeting of traders, in this case, outlet employees with consumers. Thus the payments that must be made can be checked by consumers themselves. Likewise with the payment receiving vendor that is owned by the payment feature. Making it easier in terms of payments and transaction reports. Keywords: ar-raihan, outlet, payment gateway.

Abstract:
In the context of the rapid growth of international cash flows under the influence of globalization and digitalization of the world economy, the disadvantages of the correspondent banking network for crossborder money transfers are becoming increasingly obvious. Cross-border payments continue to be largely based on the old correspondent banking model, which has not quite benefited from the flow of innovations. New technologies have the potential to facilitate fast, low-cost, transparent and scalable payments. There is a need to modernize international payment systems and to develop alternative payment instruments based on new financial technologies. Central banks and the payments industry are considering ways to improve cross-border systems. One of the most relevant and widely discussed new payment instruments is the central bank digital currency (CBDC). А consensus has been reached in the global community on the expediency and profitability of introducing this new form of fiat money into retail payments, and a large number of countries are implementing relevant projects. In contrast, the promotion of the CBDC in the field of wholesale payments is lagging behind. However, studies confirm viability of using the CBDC in wholesale cross-border payments. A number of central banks are working on wholesale cross-border payment models, and international cooperation among central banks on wholesale CBDC, including for cross-border payments, is intensifying. The article discusses how cross-border wholesale CBDC can address challenges of the existing correspondent banking arrangement. The main purpose is to analyze the results of the most advanced international projects aimed at creating cross-border payment systems based on CBDC and distributed ledger technology. The design features of the proposed payment models, their effectiveness and potential risks are considered.

Abstract:
This article explores sociotechnical imaginaries of digital payments. Drawing on a decade of reports from industry consultants, the analysis of stories on digital payments identifies three sociotechnical imaginaries that shape the banking and payment industry: data monetization, the growth of digital payments, and the payment experience. The article argues that these imaginaries have contributed to the banking industry’s move toward becoming payment platforms, which restructure financial services based on a “re-personalization of money.” In effect, digital payments play a central part in the current economic transformation, led and promoted by global tech giants, that builds on the tracking, production, categorization, and classification of digital data. The article zooms in on recent and current expectations and imaginaries in the banking industry that, in the short run, shape economic decisions, while, in the long run, are set out to change how people interact, and how they are tracked, scored, and categorized.

Abstract:
Today online payments are in demand by most people. Because of the practicality of making payments digitally. This phenomenon has encouraged many industries in the field of finance to make breakthroughs in technology to develop marketing through platforms that have been built. Of course, the platform that is built is a platform that is following the business process requirements of the company. Business processes in the finance industry have become a digital payment platform, making companies in the finance sector carry out digital transformations. Processes that have been carried out manually have been replaced with digital and online processes that bring many opportunities to the finance industry. At the same time creating market opportunities for the company. Thus creating a very broad market for companies carrying out digital transformation. Communities benefit from the changes made by the company. The benefit is that people do not need to make payments or transfer funds. No need to queue up payments at the bank or payment counters. By simply clicking on the smartphone, the payment can go directly to the intended account. This revolution in digital finance transformation has both positive and negative impacts. Positive impacts such as the ease of transferring funds, and negative impacts if the company does not carry out protection or cyber security will have an impact on the company and the user community. Therefore, finance companies must protect or secure data while using the payment platform. A lot of education is done for the people who use the payment platform, where the platform must always update the version. For this reason, payment platform provider companies must be able to make continuous changes. Continuous improvement and continuous development make it a must for payment system service operator companies. Related to the description above, payment system companies must implement Enterprise Architecture for the benefit of the company. The result of Enterprise Architecture is a blueprint of all company production components or an Information Technology Blueprint. This is the goal of research on payment systems for companies carrying out digital transformation

Banks are motivated to be interested in developing platforms to provide mobile payment services to their customer and for those to be innovative. However, the successful implementation of a mobile payments service platform is mainly determined by how much players are fully motivated to realize it. In fact, in the Swedish context, the involvement level of mobile payment service platforms are very high whereas few studies have examined the related issues of mobile payments service platform. Thus, the purpose of this article is to investigate the factors leading banks to develop platforms and how banks manage these platforms. Data was collected by conducting interviews of applicable banks. The results mainly showed that the driving factors are significantly influenced by contextual factors, mutual objectives and opportunities. This article also looks forward to providing the payment industry with applicable guidelines for efficiently implementing and designing mobile payment service platforms.

Abstract:
The article examines modern models of digital currency systems of central banks (CBDC) for retail payments and wholesale settlements. The study gives economic interpretation and defines the key characteristics of central bank digital currencies, identifies the features of the main models of digital currencies systems and analyzes the most advanced national implementation projects of CBDC. The study concludes that the digital currencies of central banks are a new (digital) form of fiat money. The implementation of digital currencies of central banks is due to the need to improve the efficiency of the monetary and payment systems and is aimed at preserving of the central banks as a monetary issuer. The main advantages of digital currencies for retail payments are the offer of a highly liquid, low-risk and universally accessible means of payment. The key benefits of wholesale digital currencies are to provide faster, safer, and cheaper cross-border payments. Among the models of digital currencies systems for retail payments (R-CBDC) the model of hybrid system is characterized by the best reliability and speed when processing a large number of payment transactions. Therefore, these systems are the most promising for implementation. Between the models of systems for wholesale payments (W-CBDC) systems with a universal digital currency are the most suitable for eliminating the main problems of cross-border payments. However, the implementation of such systems may require a large number of technological, managerial and financial changes in the payment systems of central banks. Currently, the most advanced project for issuing R-CBDC is the DCEP system of the People’s Bank of China, which is implemented on the basis of a hybrid model. W-CBDC projects are implemented jointly by the central banks of the leading countries, as they require financial and technological unification of settlements. Most projects of W-CBDC involve the use of systems with a convertible or universal digital currency.

Abstract:
This research investigates the differences in the technology adoption behaviour of customers of Indian banks during the pre and post demonetization phase. The Survey results of 200 bank customers in India find that the Indians are still holding back from embracing the digital platforms to make payments. The study could not establish the constructive effects of demonetization in e-banking adoption behaviour, despite the significant growth in the use of small digital payment platforms like Paytm. However, the usage of Point of Sale (POS) machines for transacting payments has increased tremendously. The research finds drastic reductions in the use of other e-payment modes during and after demonetization. In that sense, the study concludes that the demonetization negatively affects the technology banking adoption behaviour of customers of Indian banks.

Abstract:
The paper is devoted to the analysis of the current state of the level of digitalization of customs payments, the administration of which is entrusted to the customs authorities. In particular, this work is devoted to the study of the expediency and effectiveness of administration through digitalization of customs payments. The article discusses the role of digitalization in the administration of customs payments. Customs payment systems are one of the significant factors of revenue receipt to the state budget. First of all, this is due to the time of processing customs documents, which the customs authorities are spending their resources on. On the part of customs administration, the system of payment of customs payments affects the level of "convenience" and completeness of payment of various customs payments. In this paper, the analysis of the following indicators affecting the turnover of the Russian Federation is carried out: the place of customs payments from the general budget of the Russian Federation, the number of open personal accounts, the number of additional customs payments as a result of the conducted examinations. The analysis showed an increase in the efficiency of administration of customs payments and the level of "convenience" of customs payments.

Abstract:
During the COVID-19 pandemic, e-payment systems, also known as cashless payment systems, have steadily evolved as a payment system instrument. Changes in payment methods, followed by a growth in digital payment systems, may be driving people to use e-wallets. The functions of an e-wallet are similar to those of an e-banking or mobile banking account, but an e-wallet gives greater convenience and simplicity of access while making payments. Because the use of e-wallets can help reduce the spread of COVID-19-causing coronaviruses, this study looks into the possibilities of increasing e-wallet usage while also increasing the use of digital payment and online transactions during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Abstract:
The article examines the evolutionary development of payment systems, which takes place in the unity of technological and organizational modernization through the innovatization of payment instruments. It is substantiated that one of the fundamental factors for the stable development of the State’s economy is the availability of an efficient and smoothly functioning modern national payment system that allows real-time payments in accordance with generally accepted standards. It is specified that payment systems ensure uninterrupted circulation of money flows of the State, the commercial and non-commercial sectors, and individuals. Under the influence of scientific and technological progress, the payment market is being digitalized, and new non-financial participants are being involved in the standard processes of providing payment services. It is shown that the functional significance of payment systems in the development of the digital economy is that they are the most convenient and universal financial intermediaries that create a digital culture and instill digital skills, rules and traditions that represent the core of the digital environment. Practice shows that payment systems are characterized by a rapid response to changing demands in servicing economic relations, the speed of diffusion of scientific and technological progress, and a high degree of adaptability to the risk environment, which is manifested in accelerating the penetration of financial innovations and their spread between system elements. It is underlined that the payment system in a broad sense is a universal financial category that unites a totality of financial institutions that carry out systemic activities in the field of monetary circulation of the economy and its individual sectors to ensure sustainable macroeconomic development and socioeconomic efficiency of functioning of its subjects.

Abstract:
ResearchGate, SSRN, Google Scholar, and Academia were used to conduct a systematic literature review on digital payment systems used by bank customers. Key words included digital banking, internet banking, digital payment, customer adoption, perception, and conceptual framework. In order to conceptualize the research, we scanned and read all of the relevant literature. The adoption of a digital payment system was researched using ABCD analysis, which was also utilized to build a search proposal. The evaluation method uncovered both individual and societal elements that play a role in the rising popularity of digital payments among banking clients. Various research gaps were identified in the area of digital payment strategy adoption, and various suggestions were made to increase the rate at which consumers adopted digital payment methods. Systematic investigation has shown a distinct image of the digital system adoption by banking consumers. The research also found that there is a connection between customers and individual and demographic aspects, as well as between consumers and different strategies to improve use patterns. Increasing the number of consumers is one of the goals of Digital India, and its implementation will help the country get there. Systematic reviews are a kind of academic paper. Abstract:
Abstract: Everything has shifted online since the outbreak of the pandemic, from education to full-time jobs to health check-ups. What's important to remember here is that the majority of our day-to-day activities increasingly include making payments online. Although e-payment and e-banking solutions have been available for some time now, the pandemic has effectively compelled a huge portion of the urban and rural populations to use them. This research study aims to find out how widely epayment and e-banking systems are used and how they affect the user experience. Researchers have often been drawn to digital payment systems since they are a relatively new concept (the first digital payment system was only established in the 1990s). Over time, researchers have attempted to characterize the value of digital payment systems and what they represented for modern ecommerce, consumer personal finance, and economies around the world. According to the literature analyzed from many articles and research papers, digital payment is significantly more convenient than traditional paper currency. There has been a lot of studies done on the problems with digital payment systems (such as serious security issues and inaccessibility to these systems owing to low internet penetration), which pushes developers to keep working on these systems for the purpose of safer and faster transactions. According to several studies, online payment technology can cut costs, increase the number of consumers for a firm, improve customer-company interaction, and improve the company's image. This necessitates businesses providing a frictionless payment experience to their customers. In this research paper, a large amount of secondary data, as well as primary data acquired via survey, was utilized to highlight the paper's aims, type, and, most importantly, to analyze and interpret the data in order to better address the problem statement. We've come to the conclusion that electronic payment solutions have a huge impact on client satisfaction. Customers are increasingly turning to e-payment systems as a result of the pandemic's regular lockdowns, which have limited access to banks and conventional ATMs. While making online payments, consumers look for offers, rewards, discounts, and other incentives, which distinguish them from cash on delivery payments. Businesses (large and small) should make sure that their customers have a variety of ways to pay for goods and services (debit cards, credit cards, digital wallets, UPI, prepaid cards). Purpose & Summary of Study 1) Purpose ● To ascertain the extent to which e-payment systems are employed. ● To examine the impact of e-payment systems on customer satisfaction. ● To discuss issues surrounding e-payment systems. 2) Summary: The goal of this study is to find out how widely e-payment and e-banking technologies are used and how they affect the user experience. For the purposes of this study, a large amount of related literature, as well as primary data acquired by survey, was evaluated. Concerns about e-payment systems have also been raised. We noticed that the pandemic has driven a big number of people to utilize e-payment systems and that having a functional and seamless online payment experience is critical to attracting customers to all types of enterprises. Despite security concerns and a lack of access to faster internet connections, Indians are beginning to embrace online payment solutions. Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of perceived security on trusts and their impact on intention to use digital payments. The study used causal studies to determine intervariable influences. The population used in this study is Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) actors in the culinary and fashion fields in the city of Bandung who have not implemented digital payment in carrying out their business activities. The type of data used is primary data collected through instruments in the form of questionnaires, then the data is processed using statistical analysis tools. The results showed that perceived security had a positive and significant effect on trust. Then, trusts have a positive and significant effect on intention to use and trusts can mediate the perceived security influence on intention to use. These results show that the perception of MSMEs who consider digital payment safe to use in making transactions, will increase their trust in digital payment services, which are ultimately going to encourage interest in using digital payments. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to perceived security variables and trusts to be able to influence the intention to use digital payment to MSMEs in the city of Bandung

Abstract:
This Article aims to conceptualize the figure of the digital-financial payment consumer, which combines two separate -and ex se relevant- sources of vulnerability: digital vulnerability and financial vulnerability. The first part, -after summarizing the legal framework on digitizing payment, the social context and the policy lines- deals with the need of applying the concept of “neutrality of regulation” to avoid possible conflicts of rules between interconnected ecosystems, such as digital payments, digital platforms and blockchain. Having consumer protection in mind, it also addresses the cumulative and coherent application of different sets of rules. The second part looks in more detail at digital-financial consumer vulnerability, describing the possible implications at regulatory level and the consequences that this new kind of vulnerability brings at the level of political choices, the obligations of financial players and the conduct of a consumer who is part of a payment service contract, adopting both the point of view of public law (in terms of policy choices) and private law (intersubjective relations). The article concludes that, among the different sources of vulnerability, age appears to be the key issue when assessing the vulnerability of digital payment consumers. Once detected, this new kind of vulnerability is specifically relevant to the banks’s disclosure obligations (which should be synthetic and selective), and in terms of product design and product governance (companies should “tailor” their products specifically to the group’s customer profile they intend to reach). On the consumer side, the same behaviour should be assessed differently depending on the specific vulnerability of the consumer involved. The paper deals here with the level of gross negligence in case of unauthorized digital payment (phishing).
