Full textIn this Bachelor Thesis, we have explored whether theater as a medium for experiences could be translated into a digital game medium. Since 'experience' as a concept is very large, we have chosen to focus mainly on the feeling of exclusivity in live performances, and used a number of methods to explore this, including the design perspective ‘simulation’ with which we intended to simulate the agency the actor has in every performance. We have documented the design process, from idea generation and concept planning to our work process, as well as the product of our research. Finally, we have critically examined the result of this, and have therefore been able to determine that our question does not have a concrete answer but rather is an ongoing process in which more nuances of 'experience' would need to be explored to create a clearer picture of what an experience actually is.

Full textBackground: Digital healthcare consultations is something used more and more, especially during COVID-19 but also in accordance with various goals for digitization. Video consultations has proven to work well as an alternative to regular visits and telephone calls, but there is no clear view on how physiotherapists experience digital meetings. Objective: To investigate physiotherapists' experiences of digital care meetings compared to traditional physiotherapist visits in primary care. Method: The study has a qualitative design. Data was collected through 5 semi-structured interviews with physiotherapists and analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Result: The analysis of the interviews resulted in 6 categories and 15 subcategories. The categories were; Digital meetings can make it easier for the patient and the physiotherapist, The physiotherapists' work is developed and adapted during the pandemic, Challenging to get good digital meetings, Opportunities with digital meetings, Limitations with digital meetings and Potential for improvement. Conclusion: Digital care meetings in physiotherapy could be an alternative when patients want it and for visits including conversation, observation, advice, training and follow-up, and where there is no need for a more thorough manual examination. Digital meetings can make it easier for both the patient and the physiotherapist, but further development of technology and accessibility is needed to improve the work with the patient.

Full textBackground: Meetings between patient and nurse are built up by the communication between them, the context of the care environment and a mutual understanding of the context in which they meet. Security, respect and participation are important to establishing a care relationship. The digital information and communication opportunities increase accessibility and enable dialogue without a physical meeting. As a result, several meetings between patients and nurses will take place outside the traditional environment for a care meeting. This poses challenges based on both the security aspect and the relationship-creating dimension in a care meeting. Aim: The aim was to elucidate patients' and nurses' experiences of care meetings in a digital context. Method: The method was a literature review based on eight qualitative articles. The articles were retrieved from the CINAHL Complete and PubMed databases and analyzed and thematized. Results: The results have been analyzed from both perspective and type of digital context and summarized in five identified themes: Security, Integrity, Participation, Roles and Relationship. Discussion: The discussion was rooted in Katie Eriksson's charitable care theory. The patient's positive experiences of the meeting environment were discussed in relation to the shortcomings the nurse experienced. The digital forms of meeting have the potential to contribute to positive experiences of accessibility, security and participation for patients. The results were also discussed based on the possibility of having a holistic and person-centered approach in the digital forms of meeting.
