Abstract:
PurposeThe digitalization of society places new demands on education. It is apparent since most countries have introduced curricula requirements to digitalize teaching. This study examines the organizational support teachers need to digitalize teaching. The study is being conducted in Sweden because they have experienced challenges with the introduction of new national digitalization requirements. Thus, this study explores the following research question: What organizational support do Swedish teachers describe they need to meet the curriculum requirements for digitalization?Design/methodology/approachCultural–historical activity theory and qualitative methods have been used to explore the research aim and answer the question.FindingsThe results show that teachers need organizational support to gain equal and easy access to digital tools. Moreover, digital tools in an organization must be relevantly related to the requirements. Teachers also need support to increase their knowledge as well as the knowledge of the students. Also, organizations must support teachers by distributing the work of digitalization clearly and reasonably. These results, thus, show that teachers cannot be solely responsible for meeting these curriculum requirements. They need organizational support in the process.Originality/valueThe study reveals teachers' recurring problems concerning digitalized education and their need for organizational support. Thereby, the knowledge can be used to avoid similar problems, in organizations on different society levels. This contribution is useful for organizations, politicians, school leaders, principals and teachers who are introducing 1:1 and new curriculum requirements for digitalization of education.

Abstract The ongoing digital transformation will potentially change traditional health care practices fundamentally. However, change agents usually face serious challenges arising from the highly institutionalized nature of this industry. Using the gamification of glucose monitoring as part of diabetes care as an example, this paper focuses on strategies to transform health care, allowing not only to cope with, but also to change this context: gamification encourages behavioral changes in patients, establishes new roles between patients and providers, and thereby elevates patient empowerment.

Abstract:
Abstract Digital transformation requires a digital mindset and new approaches to dealing with both decision risk and decision speed. Well-entrenched companies seem to hold all the assets needed to adapt and keep succeeding, but sometimes they don’t seem to adequately react to a disruptive threat; instead, they show symptoms of innovation blindness. They might overestimate their digital skills or their learning occurs too slowly and resources are being wasted. Deep expertise that used to be an asset turns into a liability because companies are stuck in old mental models. A few things can be done proactively to avoid major pitfalls in the digitalization of a business. Facts that are taken for granted need to be challenged and checked against reality to identify strategic failure in time. Whenever somebody assumes that something is “surely” true, a company’s alarm bells should go off. Moreover, top management needs to check if their digital projects not only scratch the surface but that they grasp the essence of what makes them successful: creating new added value, dramatically increasing speed and ease of use, reducing complexity, and lowering costs substantially. Also, a new approach to innovation, such as design thinking, encourages rapid prototyping and a fast-failure culture.

Abstract:
The article carries out the theoretical basis, the usefulness, and validation of the computational program geonetDigitizer (licensed as an open-source code as BSD-2) in order to apply as a toolbox for the programming language MATLAB©. The program geonetDigitizer was designed for the digitalization of plots expressed in the spherical projections Wulff and Lambert, which is of extensive use in structural geology and geomechanics. The reasons of presenting the program as an open code has the purpose to recover historical data presented in those projections, as also to recover old and modern information presented in that projections. All of these will reduce the possible phenomenon known as Digital Dark Age. To validate the code, it is presented here two examples, where real known values are compared with their corresponding values obtained by the process of digitizing. Finally, in the appendix is presented two application examples.

Abstract:
AbstractAcross industries, firms face the need to digitalize their service processes, i.e., transform the service delivery from a physical into a digital form or enhance it through digital technologies. Therefore, one important challenge can arise due to the inseparability of service processes, which describes the necessity for a customer to consume a service the moment which a service provider produces it. Since existing research has failed to examine inseparability as a predictor of service digitalization, this study aims to explore whether inseparability hinders the digitalization of service processes and whether internal support in form of innovation culture and external support from third parties can help to mitigate the influence of inseparability. Data from an online survey of 204 German service employees and managers confirm our hypotheses. These results demonstrate to practitioners that although it may be more difficult to digitalize service processes due to their inseparability, firms may rely on internal and external support for innovation to overcome this challenge.

Abstract:
This article aims to discuss the relationship between Ahmad Lutfi Fathullah and digitalization of ?ad?th in Indonesia. The emergence of digitalization of ?ad?th in Indonesia can be associated with one of the leading scholars in the field of ?ad?th, namely Ahmad Lutfi Fathullah through the Center of ?ad?th Studies (PKH). The reason for the efforts of ?ad?th digitalization by Ahmad Lutfi Fathullah departed from the awareness to maintain the existence of ?ad?th studies in the modern era that demands the use of technological tools. The effort to digitalize the ?ad?th as the result of collaboration with the use of technology has now given birth to a variety of digital ?ad?th products, such as software, websites, android applications and ?ad?th visualization. The effort to digitalize the ?ad?th, one of which is undertaken by Ahmad Lutfi Fathullah at this time, has made the tradition of ?ad?th studies, especially in Indonesia experience a dynamic orientation and transformation of ?ad?th studies.

Abstract:
It is difficult to hand down magic-mirror fabrication technology, which has an extremely small satiny and continuous-curvature corrugated surface, due to downsizing of veteran engineers or even their successors. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to digitalize the magic-mirror fabrication technology using a CNC technology. A mirror finishing method is thus proposed that integrates ball end-milling and magnetic polishing it on the machining center. In addition, the workpiece is end-milled from the rear. Generation of the magic-mirror surface is also carried out.

Abstract:
In this paper, two processing techniques—full parameters technique and part parameters technique—for aspheric surface grinding are expatiated. Both of them are based on the priciple of computer-controlled optical surface (CCOS) and developed from trajectory forming method. We also have carried out appropriative software to digitalize processing technology. Proved by practical process, both of them are reliable and reproducible. Full parameters technique is easy to operate, but the accuracy of surface is to large extent dependent on the accuracy of measurement; Part parameters technique can avoid these measurements, however, it has certain requirements for operator. However, its requirements are still much less than those of traditional technique.

Abstract:
The digital era demand that accounting students, the future of Indonesian’s auditor to adapt to the rapid change of time. Thus, in order to improve the quality of those future auditors, the Indonesian government designed ATLAS. From the government’s perspective, ATLAS was designed to digitalize and replace the old, obsolete audit working paper. But what about student’s perspectives of this digitalization? This research uses the Likert scale to answer that question. This research investigates student’s perspectives of the implementation of ATLAS as an audit working paper. We found that 78.18% of the students have a positive view/perspective of ATLAS implementation as an audit working paper.

Abstract:
Purpose Digital transformations are changing society, and they force industries to react to the market more frequently. Managers are aware of new technical demands, which increase the pressure of meeting those demands. To meet technical demands, radical innovations are one way to stay competitive. However, it is more complex to make them a part of the business. The purpose of this study was to create a framework for small and medium-sized enterprises to become more efficient by starting to digitalise their business processes with the expertise of an external innovation partner. Design/methodology/approach The study was performed at a case company with an abductive approach where both deduction and induction were used to study the empirical findings and formulate new theories in relation to recognised theory. Qualitative methods have been used in the empirical study due to their flexibility and the fact that the focus of the information gathering was to create a context. Findings The analysis indicates that a certain level of process maturity can be put in relation to a certain innovation level and a certain level of digital change. According to a process maturity model, an adaptable process could respond to changes in customer demands better, which can be related to changes in the business domain and the society. The research resulted in a conceptual cooperative model based on the three domains of the study. The model has been validated using design reviews with the case company, a consultancy firm and together with an innovation partner. Practical implications The model will be a practical template for Small and Medium Enterprises to follow when digitalising business processes and how to prioritise them. Originality/value The proposed framework of how to digitalise at different innovation levels coupled to process maturity levels is a novel idea that could be used for further research.

Abstract:
In this article, the authors propose to bring macroeconomic policy to the level of state policy by studying various approaches to the concept of macroeconomic policy in order to reduce unemployment and inflation, support an increase in macroeconomic indicators, prevent economic crises and ensure sustainable functioning of the economy. An analysis based on the example of Uzbekistan shows what measures are being taken by the government to digitalize the economy during a pandemic and what needs to be done by the government. Based on the analysis of the branches of macroeconomic policy on the example of the Republic of Uzbekistan, some measures are proposed for the optimal solution of problems associated with macroeconomic policy.
