Abstract:
De senaste åren har banksektorn genomgått betydande digitala förändringar. De digitala innovationerna inom banksektorn har resulterat i ett förändrat arbetssätt för bankmedarbetarna som i sin tur resulterat i en organisationsförändring. Tidigare forskning har kunnat påvisa att den rådande kulturen i företaget både kan ha en negativ eller en positiv effekt på individens subjektiva välmående. Därför har vi valt att undersöka hur olika organisationskulturer i banksektorn kan påverka den enskilda bankmedarbetarens subjektiva välmående. Syftet med denna uppsats är att förklara och beskriva hur digitaliseringen påverkar den enskilda bankmedarbetarens subjektiva välmående på arbetsplatsen, samt hur organisationskulturen inverkar på individens upplevelse av digitalisering. Studien har en positivistisk forskningsfilosofi följt av en deduktiv ansats. En kvantitativ metod genomfördes med datainsamlingsmetoden internetenkät. Resultatet från undersökningen har baserats på 144 respondenter. Studien har visat indikationer på att en kollektivistisk kultur har en positiv effekt på det subjektiva välmåendet hos bankmedarbetaren. Vi har även kunnat visa att ju mer positiv inställning bankmedarbetaren har till användning av digitala arbetsmetoder, ju bättre är deras subjektiva välmående. Vår studie är begränsad till att endast innefatta bankmedarbetare från utvalda banker runt om i Sverige. Avslutningsvis bidrar denna studie med en argumentation samt diskussion kring hur digitalisering påverkar bankmedarbetarens subjektiva välmående, samt hur organisationskulturen inverkar på individens upplevelse av digitaliseringen.
In recent years, the banking sector has undergone significant digital changes. The digital innovations in the banking sector have resulted in a changing working method for bank employees, which in turn resulted in an organizational change. Earlier research has shown that organizational culture can both have a positive and negative impact on an individual's subjective well-being. The purpose of this paper is to explain and describe how digitalization affects the individual employee's subjective well-being in the workplace, as well as how the organizational culture affects the individual's perception of digitization. The study has a positivistic research philosophy followed by a deductive approach applied in the form of hypothesis testing. The study has a quantitative research method and was completed with an internet survey. The result of the study is based on 144 respondents. In our study, we have found indications that a collectivist organizational culture has a positive impact on the bank employee's subjective well-being. We have also found that the more positive attitude bank employees have towards using digital working methods, the better their subjective well-being is. A limitation with our study is that it only includes bank employees from selected banks around Sweden. However, the limitation entails that we can contribute with new knowledge in a previously relatively unexplored context. Finally, this study contributes with a discussion about how digitalization affects the subjective well-being of the bank employees, and how different organizational culture affects the individual's perception of digitalization.

Abstract:
Many organizations are looking to implement data-driven technologies such as big data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning in their operations due to their rapid development and increased usefulness in recent years. With technology changing fast, it is difficult for managers to determine which sources of data are relevant in the context of these technologies. This paper aims to explore opportunities to implement data-driven technologies in the Stockholm metro. The technologies are assessed based on their usefulness and feasibility. The assessment is also done in regards to the current state of the organization in charge of the Stockholm metro, Trafikförvaltningen, and its internal capabilities. The study has been conducted through interviews aimed at understanding Trafikförvaltningen as an organization, as well as literary reviews of state-of-the-art technologies aimed at understanding what is technically possible. By aligning the state of the organization with current technologies, it was concluded that big data for preventive maintenance and smart grids for minimizing energy consumption were the most relevant data-driven technologies to implement.
Många organisationer vill implementera datadrivna teknologier som stordataanalys, artificiell intelligens och maskininlärning i sina verksamheter på grund av de senaste årens dess snabba utvecklingstakt och ökade användbarhet. I och med den snabba teknologiska utvecklingstakten är det svårt för beslutsfattare att avgöra vilka datakällor som är relevanta för dessa teknologier. Den här uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka möjligheterna att implementera datadrivna teknologier i Stockholms tunnelbanesystem. Dessa teknologier är bedömda efter användbarhet och möjlighet för lyckad implementation. Bedömningen tar även hänsyn till det nuvarande tillståndet av organisationen som är ansvarig för Stockholm tunnelbana, Trafikförvaltningen, och dess interna färdigheter. Studien har genomförts via intervjuer som syftat till att förstå Trafikförvaltningen som organisation, tillsammans med en litteraturstudie av den senaste tekniken som syftat till att förstå vad som är tekniskt möjligt. Genom en analys av organisationens nuvarande tillstånd och nuvarande teknologier drogs slutsatsen att stordataanalys för preventivt underhåll och smarta elnät för minskad energikonsumtion är de mest relevanta datadrivna teknologierna att implementera.

Abstract:
Urbanization is causing increased agglomerations in cities, this in return has made urban planning an increasingly crucial element in developing cities. Simultaneously as cities are growing in size, aspiration for sustainable development arise. The contemporary planning process faces multiple challenges, one of these is that it comprises multiple actors, with different interests, which need to coordinate in an effective way. As a response to this challenge, multiple concepts have surfaced, such as collaborative planning, institutional capacity and communicative planning. What these concepts have in common is that they all emphasize the importance of collaboration. However, what these concepts lack to acknowledge is the application of digital technology by means to support collaboration. Even though digitalization has received increased recognition within multiple disciplines of our society in the last couple of decades, it still has not paved its way into the discipline of contemporary urban planning. In Sweden, multiple initiatives have been constructed for the purpose of digitalizing the planning process, both on a municipal and national level. However, these are quite recent and are thus not fully established. This master thesis focuses on collaboration supported by digitalization and aims at identifying the opportunities and difficulties brought about by this. It assembles and compares opinions from both private and public actors involved in the Royal Seaport project in Stockholm. The results are obtained from data assembled through semi-structured interviews, with both public and private actors involved in the Royal Seaport project, and literature review. The answers were analyzed, and a comparison was made of the answers of public actors on one hand and private actors on the other hand. The results indicate that opinions of the actors, involved in the Royal Seaport project, towards digitalization in general are quite positive. However, private actors seem to be more aware of the opportunities brought about by digitalization. Main opportunities regarding collaboration supported by increased digitalization include a more cohesive information flow, equal information access, increased efficiency and thus streamlining the planning process, simplified communication and reduced number of possible mistakes made in the later stages of the planning process. Whereas, the main challenges identified are that actors have different background, are of different generations and cultures, the different administrations within the municipality, information and data are not standardized, there is no one in charge of coordinating the data and implementing digitalization in practice within the municipality, it is time-consuming and the available digital tools are often too advanced. However, the results illustrated that collaboration can be enhanced by implementing a shared database accessible to all actors involved in the planning process. In that way digitalization can enhance collaboration. Overall, digitalization is seen as having potential to simplify the collaboration of diverse actors in the planning process.

Abstract:
Automation of work processes has become a central aspect of increasing business competitiveness, effectiveness and quality. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a new technology that can be used for this. It is a relatively new technology that, through a defined workflow, performs the tasks instead of a person. The RPA technology does not require little integration to interact with multiple systems through the interface, in the same way a person would. Organizations in public sector, like municipalities are today facing increasing challenges and need to change the way they are working, to keep up with the new technologies, and make the most out of scarce resources. Through a qualitative study, we have investigated what barriers and enablers small municipalities have to be ready for when considering RPA implementation. To collect empirical data, we performed nine semi-structured interviews with participants from four small municipalities, which had not implemented RPA yet and with one large municipality who is already using RPA today. The analysis of this study identifies the barriers and enablers in small municipalities that define their digital maturity to implement RPA. These barriers and enablers were categorized in to four themes: digital maturity, digital competence, time and resources and interest and strategic mandate.

Diskussionen kring implementeringen av digitala verktyg i förskolan har blivit mer aktivsedan läroplanen reviderades 2018, då blev det ett krav att digitala verktyg skall vara en del avundervisningen i förskolan. Denna studie handlar om att analysera vad Skolverket har skrivitom hur undervisningen ska gå till i relation till digitala verktyg i förskolan. Analysen utgårfrån Lpfö18 och andra relevanta skrifter av Skolverket. Studiens resultat påvisar att det går atttolka att Skolverket menar på att det digitalas implementering i skolväsendet är en självklarhetmen att det är osäkert hur exakt undervisningen ska gå till. Det digitala ska finnas både sominnehåll samt som metod, vilket leder till att pedagogerna på förskolan behöver inneha en visskompetens för att kunna använda digitala verktyg på ett ansvarsfullt och planerat sätt för attuppnå den goda kvalitén som förskoleverksamheten ska inneha.

The master diploma thesis ?Digitizing of Public Screenings? deals with the forthcoming digitisation of film distribution. It tries to monitor the present ?transitional? period and to describe the course of the imminent change in the upcoming years. Its aim is to familiarise the readers with the basic concepts used in the digital cinema in the most comprehensible way. It compares the digital and classical film projection while describing their technological and economical advantages and disadvantages. It describes technical parameters of the currently available digital projection devices, the likely development thereof, and the new 3D digital technologies. It deals with new norms imposed by the American initiative ?Digital Cinema Initiatives?, and the French ?AFNOR?. Finally, it compares the already functioning transition from the classical film distribution towards digital forms in the USA, trying to present possible transition models for Europe, where conditions are different.

The aim of the present masters thesis is to create a guide, which leads small and medium enterprises to business process digitization. It is presumed that the enterprise has already implemented business process management on a certain level. The theoretical part of the thesis defines important terms and describes benefits and possible problems that are connected with the implementation of business process automation. The most important tools, methods and principles which help with the transformation of a business process to an automated process by ICT are described in the thesis.  Possible steps that can be made by a medium insurance company during the implementation of business process digitization are described in the practical part. Every step is demonstrated on a concrete example.  The thesis brings the reader a specific summary of knowledge of business process management and digitization. It creates a baseline for a guide of implementation of intern processes of the company.

Digitalization of health care is one of the most prioritized areas within the healthcare community. Within chronic wound care, considered the silent epidemic and one of the most expensive and unsolved burdens to the medical system, the next generation of wound dressings with abilities of real-time monitoring has attracted considerable attention. The most frequent complication in a chronic wound is infection. Infection in chronic wounds not detected in time can lead to amputation of limbs or even death. Real-time monitoring of chronic wounds gives possibilities to detect infection in early stages and avoids unnecessary wound dressing changes since the change disturbs healing. Here, a prototype of an infection detection dressing has been designed. Flexible and biocompatible sensors for wound temperature and wound pH level has been used. Measured values are transmitted via Bluetooth to an Android smartphone Application where measured values are displayed together with a Wound Status Bar. Based on the Arduino Nano electronics platform, the system connects to the smartphone application, measures and displays measured values, and the wound status bar responds correctly to changes in the measured values. The prototype developed highlights questions that need to be solved when moving into the next generation of real-time monitoring wound dressings.
Digitalisering av sjukvården är ett av de mest prioriterade området inom den medicinska utvecklingen. Inom området behandling av kroniska sår, som anses vara en dold sjukdom och är en av den mest kostsamma och olösta bördan inom sjukvården, har utvecklingen av nästa generations sårförband som ska övervaka ett kroniskt sår i realtid uppmärksammats och skapat ett stort intresse. Den mest vanliga komplikationen i ett kroniskt sår är att såret blir infekterat. Om en infektion i ett sår inte blir upptäckt och behandlat i tid kan det leda till amputering av lemmar och till och med död. Med ett real-tids övervakande förband kan en infektion upptäckas i tid men kan även förhindra onödiga byten av förband då även förbandsbyten påverkar det kroniska sårets läkning. Genom att integrera flexibla och biokompatibla sensorer i ett förband som mäter temperatur och pH-värde i såret, och sedan skicka sensor data via Bluetooth till en Android applikation där data visuellt visas, har en prototyp av en infektions detekterande enhet utvecklats. Projektet resulterade i ett system där sensorerna och en Bluetooth modul kopplades till en Arduino Nano. Sensor data skickas via Bluetooth till en Android applikation där mätvärdena visas och även en indikator som uppdateras beroende på ändringar i sårets status. Framtagningen av protypen har genererat viktiga frågeställningar att överväga när nästa generations real-tids övervakande förband ska utvecklas.

Große Editionen sind beeindruckende Dokumente geisteswissenschaftlicher Produktivität. Die oft vielbändigen, mehrere Regalmeter in Anspruch nehmenden kritischen Ausgaben der Werke kanonischer Autorinnen und Autoren mögen vor allem für ein überschaubares Spezialpublikum erarbeitet worden sein. Nicht zu vergessen ist aber, dass solchen Großunternehmen die Entdeckung oder Wiederentdeckung ganzer OEuvres verdanken ist, dass aus den soliden Gesamtausgaben oft sehr erfolgreiche, von Generationen von Lesern benutzte populäre Ableger hervorgehen, schließlich dass die zuverlässige Bereitstellung historischer Quellen für alle kulturwissenschaftlichen Disziplinen eine unabdingbare Grundlage darstellt. Nicht wenige anspruchsvolle Editionen – ich nenne Namen wie Goethe, Nietzsche, Kleist oder Kafka – haben eine ganz erstaunliche Verbreitung gefunden. Wir dürfen daher mit einiger Bewunderung einen Blick auf und in Werkausgaben werfen, die sich einen Stammplatz in den Regalen der Bibliotheken gesichert haben.

Denne masteroppgaven tar for seg Digitale Fortellerverktøy med fokus innenfor Virtual Reality (VR) og Natural User Interface (NUI). Digitale Fortellerverktøy er et forskningsprosjekt under Immersive Media Technology Experiences (IMTE) ved NTNU. Masteroppgaven er en fortsettelse på rapporten "Digitale Fortellerverktøy". I denne rapporten ble det laget en demo i Unreal Development Kit(UDK - en spillmotor) på hva man kan få til med Virtual Reality innenfor Digitale Fortellerverktøy. I masteroppgaven har det blitt laget en prototype ved navn "Virtual Storyroom". Virtual Storyroom er et Digitalt Fortellerverktøy som tar i bruk både Oculus Rift og Microsoft Kinect i Unity, for å skape og oppleve Digitale Fortellinger i en virtuell verden ved hjelp av Natural User Interface for interaksjon. Det har blitt utført brukertesting på Virtual Storyroom for å kunne si noe om hvor modent Virtual Reality, og Natural User Interface knyttet mot Virtual Reality, er blitt som plattform for Digitale Fortellerverktøy.

Dadurch konnten vom Verfall bedrohte Bücher und Medien „digital“ konserviert und einer breiten Nutzung öffentlich zugänglich gemacht werden. Darüber hinaus wird das kulturelle Erbe der Geschichte der Technischen Universität Chemnitz, der Stadt Chemnitz und der Erzgebirgsregion für zukünftige Generationen bewahrt.

Banalieva and Dhanaraj argue that digital service multinationals (DSMNCs) possess a new category of firm-specific advantage (FSA), the network advantage, and that, contrary to extant theory, they use networks as a mode of governance. I review the business models used by DSMNCs, compare them to non-digital ones, and explore what we can learn about them from extant IB theory. I conclude that network advantages are not a new category of FSAs, that networks are not a mode of governance, and that their use by DSMNCs is well explained by extant theory.

Abstract:
Trauma personnel have limited time to stabilize their patients depending on their injuries and overall state. This introduces problems related to how the whole trauma team can fast and accurately note and find specific injuries or other types of disorders. Akademiska sjukhuset in Uppsala together with Uppsala University hasa vision of introducing a new tablet application that replaces the original paper trauma journal. This thesis describes the developmentof the alternative keyboard solution which is a part of the digital trauma journal application. The purpose of the application and its alternative keyboard solution is to reduce the latency of information within the trauma team and to portray what information has been gathered from the patient. The work is done based on the proof of concept design. Based on the design, prototypes of their proposed alternative keyboard were created in an iterative process to refineand build the keyboard solution to demonstrate its usefulness.The conclusions are that the alternative keyboard solution doesprovide a more efficient way of handling the input phase for the T1 nurse. It has all the necessary components available the T1 nurse would have to use and further enhances the ability to be able to display their content across several other devices in real time. If the application and its keyboard solution are proved successful, Akademiska sjukhuset is willing to pursue further towards utilizingthe application into their daily methods and practice.

This work describes the effects of the process of digitalization of the terrestrial television signal broadcasting on the Ceská televize (Czech Television) station as a public service broadcaster. The introduction provides a basic explanation of the term digitalization and the history of digitalization of television production as the first stage of digitalization of the terrestrial television signal broadcasting. The first chapter presents a brief history of television and the television market in Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic which also indicates the situation in the market before the process of digitalization of the television signal broadcasting began. The next section presents an overview of the legal framework of the process and the technological solution. In chapters dedicated to two new programme groups whose origination is made possible by a change in the broadcasting of the signal, their creation is described in the context and the first years of broadcasting are evaluated. The thesis also deals with the issues related to the emergence of new private television stations and their influence on the Czech Television. In conclusion, the audience is analyzed as one of the indicators of success and trends established by the process of digitization in the market and the future development in the television market from the viewpoint of the Czech Television station is addressed.

This Master’s thesis solves a design and construction of device for gathering and transfer of data into computer. The device should replace graph plotter, by which is measured the optical intensity of a laser beam. From this characteristic it is possible to determine other parameters of the laser beam, such as halfwidth of the beam, angle of divergence and Rayleigh length. The described device - “data gatherer” - measures two voltage values – voltage detected on photodiode and voltage detected on distance moved by photodiode. Measured values of voltage are processed and sent through a serial line into the computer. A pre-amplifier is connected to the control part for both channels of measured values with possibility of amplification. Computer application, which performs graphic interpretation of the measured values, serves as user control peripheral. The product of this project is compact device operating under OS Windows with graphic output.

This thesis is focused on document imaging and describes different approaches to the implementation of document imaging systems. In the first part there is the theoretical background of the document imaging that is supplemented by current statistics. In the first part there are also some remarks on the situation on the Czech market. The second part is based on examinations of different approaches to document imaging systems that were made by Czech companies. The main objective of this thesis is a practical example of selecting an appropriate solution of the document imaging. There are considered three types of approaches to the document imaging: complete outsourcing, in-house outsourcing or a solution of their own. To achieve this goal there is an adequate theoretical basis for the document imaging and an overview of hardware and software support for digitization in the first part of the thesis. TEI method by Forrester Research is used for comparison of the economic impact of the different approaches. The contribution of this thesis is primarily in the description of the state of document imaging in the Czech Republic and also examination of different solutions and approaches to the document imaging. There is also a completion of the theoretical part by a data from current surveys.

Die multimedialen Informationsdienste im Internet werden immer umfangreicher und umfassender, wobei auch die nur in gedruckter Form vorliegenden Dokumente von den Bibliotheken digitalisiert und ins Netz gestellt werden. Über Online-Dokumentenverwaltungen oder Suchmaschinen können diese Dokumente gefunden und dann in gängigen Formaten wie z.B. PDF bereitgestellt werden. Dieser Artikel beleuchtet die Funktionsweise der Humboldt Digital Library, die seit mehr als zehn Jahren Dokumente von Alexander von Humboldt in englischer Übersetzung im Web als HDL (Humboldt Digital Library) kostenfrei zur Verfügung stellt. Anders als eine digitale Bibliothek werden dabei allerdings nicht nur digitalisierte Dokumente als Scan oder PDF bereitgestellt, sondern der Text als solcher und in vernetzter Form verfügbar gemacht. Das System gleicht damit eher einem Informationssystem als einer digitalen Bibliothek, was sich auch in den verfügbaren Funktionen zur Auffindung von Texten in unterschiedlichen Versionen und Übersetzungen, Vergleichen von Absätzen verschiedener Dokumente oder der Darstellung von Bilden in ihrem Kontext widerspiegelt. Die Entwicklung von dynamischen Hyperlinks auf der Basis der einzelnen Textabsätze der Humboldt‘schen Werke in Form von Media Assets ermöglicht eine Nutzung der Programmierschnittstelle von Google Maps zur geographischen wie auch textinhaltlichen Navigation. Über den Service einer digitalen Bibliothek hinausgehend, bietet die HDL den Prototypen eines mehrdimensionalen Informationssystems, das mit dynamischen Strukturen arbeitet und umfangreiche thematische Auswertungen und Vergleiche ermöglicht.
The multimedia information services on Internet are becoming more and more comprehensive, even the printed documents are digitized and republished as digital Web documents by the libraries. Those digital files can be found by search engines or management tools and provided as files in usual formats as PDF. This article focuses on the functionality of the Humboldt Digital Library (HDL), which is available for more than a decade and which provides digitized documents of Alexander von Humboldt in the English translations. Unlike a digital library, the HDL doesn’t provide only digitized documents as PDF or image formats with book scans, but the text itself is made ​​available as such and embedded into an information network. Therefore the system is representing an information system rather than a digital library, which is also reflected by the implemented functions for the search of texts in different versions and translations, comparisons of paragraphs of different documents or presentation of images in their contexts. The development of dynamic hyperlinks, based on the individual paragraphs in the Humboldt works in the form of media assets, enables the use of the Application Programming Interface (API) of Google Maps for geographical as well as text content navigation. Beyond the services of a digital library the HDL provides a prototype of a multi-dimensional information system that works with dynamic structures and enables extensive thematic research and comparisons.

Dette gjøres gjennom et dybdestudie av Kunnskapsløypa, en gründerbedrift som forsøker å få fotfeste som leverandør av digitale innholdsprodukter.Tidlig i oppgaven utvikles et verktøy for analyse av ressursutvikling i oppstartsbedrifter. Et ressursbasert syn kombineres med konsepter fra Lean Startup og forretningsmodellinovasjon, og analyseverktøyet viser hvordan ressurser har blitt anvendt, anskaffet og utviklet i bedriften. Videre rangerer verktøyet bedriftens ressurser etter hvor strategisk viktige det er og gir retningslinjer for hvordan muligheter kan identifiseres og evalueres i lys av den resulterende ressursbasen.Verktøyet anvendes på Kunnskapsløypas utviklings- og kommersialiseringsprosess for produktet Kunnskapsløypas Eksperimenter og selskapets første driftsår. Det fremkommer at produktet ikke har truffet markedet, og at forretningsmodellen som er valgt ikke fungerer. Selv om Kunnskapsløypa ikke lyktes med planen om å etablere seg som digital innholdsprodusent med en forretningsmodell bygget på brukerbetalt innholdstilgang har de gjennom prosessen opparbeidet seg ressurser som skaper andre muligheter. Selskapet har aktivt oppsøkt mulige oppdrag for andre selskaper når kompetanse og kapasitet har muliggjort det, og har levert både mobilapplikasjoner og videoinnhold på bestilling parallelt med egen produktutvikling. På denne måten har Kunnskapsløypa utført oppdrag av ulik karakter for flere ulike markedssegment og gjennom dette utviklet en variert ressursbase og testet ulike forretningsmodeller. Basert på erfaringene har Kunnskapsløypa identifisert lønnsomme posisjoner i markedet for digitale innholdsprodukter, og selskapet opplever nå vekst med en endret forretningsmodell i et nytt markedssegment. Kunnskapsløypa fremstår som et selskap som har lykkes med en fremvoksende strategi og en åpen holdning til nye muligheter. Oppgaven viser at et utviklingsløp med mislykkede produkter og endringer i strategi kan lede til en vellykket selskapsetablering. Den viser også styrken i en strategiutvikling styrt av oppdukkende muligheter og tilgjengelige ressurser. På den måten underbygges Lean Startup-metodologiens raske iterasjoner og tilbøyelighet til omstilling basert på endringer i markedskunnskap og ressurstilgang.

Der Bericht dokumentiert die Ergebnisse des Vorhabens »Innovative digitale Geomodelle 2020«, Teil 1. Damit liegen für wichtige regionalgeologische Einheiten Sachsens dreidimensionale Daten vor. Mittels vieler heterogener Eingangsdaten wurden 3D-Modelle von 13 stratigrafischen Einheiten erstellt. Zur Modellierung diente die Software GOCAD. Die gewonnenen Daten konnten mithilfe der Datenbanksoftware GST erstmals in einer ORACLE-Datenbank gespeichert werden, um einen projektunabhängigen Zugriff zu gewährleisten. Die 3D-Modellierung der Geologie hat das Ziel, den geologischen Untergrund in seiner Gesamtheit darzustellen und komplexe Zusammenhänge sichtbar zu machen.

Questa ricerca interdisciplinare prende atto delle visioni contrastanti all’interno della Media Literacy: da un lato quella utopica che individua nel progresso tecnologico l’alba di una nuova era per l’umanità, dall’altro l’approccio distopico preoccupato dalle potenziali derive conseguenti all’uso acritico e compulsivo dei dispositivi. Tale contrapposizione, sebbene con diverse sfumature, si riverbera nei vari ambiti educativi spesso impedendo la piena comprensione delle dinamiche della comunicazione contemporanea. La prospettiva antropocentrica che ispira l’intera trattazione valorizza i contributi non apodittici capaci di “dialogare”, passando dalla logica escludente dell’aut - aut a quella inclusiva dell’et - et. A partire da alcune significative acquisizioni delle Scienze Cognitive, delle Scienze Umane e dei Media Studies a cui sono dedicati i primi due capitoli, viene offerto un excursus nella literacy teso ad individuare piste pedagogiche praticabili nei diversi contesti, frutto della sperimentazione e della verifica sul campo riportate nella parte finale. Il lavoro intende dimostrare, non soltanto a livello empirico, che la Rete e la sua stessa orizzontalità possono e devono diventare paradigma operativo per un’azione educativa efficace in grado di superare visioni settoriali e semplificazioni, grazie ad un approccio multiprospettico incentrato sulla persona chiamata a “ri-conoscersi” per ripensare l’educazione nell’era digitale.
This interdisciplinary research notes the conflicting views within the Media Literacy: from one side the utopian one locating in technological progress the dawn of a new era for humanity and from the other the dystopian approach worried by potential drifts consequent to the uncritical and compulsive use of the devices. This conflict, although with different nuances, reverberates in the various educational environments often preventing the full understanding of the dynamics of contemporary communication. The anthropocentric perspective that inspires the whole discussion enhances non-dogmatic contributions able to "talk", passing from the exclusionary logic of the “aut – aut” to that inclusive “et – et”. Starting from some significant acquisitions of Cognitive Sciences, Human Sciences and Media Studies to which the first two chapters are dedicated, an excursus in literacy aimed at identifying educational tracks viable in different contexts, is offered as a result of experimentation and verification on field described in the final part. The work aims to demonstrate, not only empirically, that the Internet and its own horizontality can and should become operational paradigm for effective educational action able to overcome sectoral visions and simplifications, thanks to a multi-perspective approach centered on the person called to "re-cognize oneself" to rethink education in the digital age.

Nowadays, companies are focusing on reacting on market changes and on responding to a major question, which is how to serve an increasing demand for mobility with the lowest enviromental impact. There are few established companies on czech and global market trying to answer this question. The goal of the thesis is to show how these companies work. The main framework which has been used to serve the purpose is Business Model Canvas, which helps to display business models in a structured way. Based on this analysis, we can conclude that the 11 analysed companies would could not exist without the major progress in technology. Future of these companies strongly depends on a support they can get by cities and states. This thesis brings the first deep comprehensive reflection on this topic in Czech language.

Gli sviluppi tecnologici vissuti nell'ultimo quarto di secolo hanno determinato forti mutamenti non solo nella materialità dell'esistere, ma anche nella dimensione spirituale della persona. L'avvento della cittadinanza digitale ha obbligato ad un ripensamento del catalogo dei diritti e delle forme di esercizio degli stessi. La libertà religiosa, tanto nella sua dimensione individuale quanto in quella associata non solo ha subito l'influenza di tali cambiamenti, ma si è dimostrata in molti casi settore privilegiato per verificare la validità delle nuove forme di governo derivanti dallo sviluppo sempre più massiccio delle tecnologie informatiche. A partire, dunque, da un ripensamento dei rapporti tra diritto e religione sono stati individuati alcuni settori specifici di analisi al cui interno saggiare le nuove forme di governo elettronico, per comprendere le nuove declinazioni del diritto di libertà religiosa nella società digitale. Tali settori sono: la presenza delle confessioni nel sistema della stampa nazionale; il nuovo mondo di Internet e le problematiche connesse alla tutela dei marchi e del sentimento religioso; la presenza delle confessioni religiose nel sistema radio televisivo; la tutela dei dati sensibili religiosi nel nuovo Codice sulla privacy.
Last 25 years, technological developments have determined very important changes both on the material side and on the spiritual one of the people. The introduction of digital citizenship has obliged to rethink the bunch of rights and the way to apply them. The religious freedom, both individually and in association, has suffered the effects of these changes, but moreover has been a preferred sector where testing new governance rules needed to manage the innovations due to constantly increasing presence of information technologies in day by day life. Therefore, starting from a deep rethinking of the relationships between law and religion, some sectors of analysis, where testing new electronic governance rules, has been identified, in order to understand new evolutions of religious freedom rights in the digital society. These sectors are: presence of religious denominations in the national press; Internet world and issues related both to the trademark management and to religious sentiments; presence of religious denominations in radio-TV system; protection of religious sensitive personal data in agreement with the new privacy Code.

Abstract:

Denne oppgaven ser på representasjonsbehov for matematiske uttrykk når disse skal lagres for bruk i digitale bibliotek eller på web. Både matematisk mening og den symbolske visningen av uttrykkene er viktig i slike systemer. I tillegg kan det være aktuelt med visualiseringer, for eksempel i form av grafer.

I oppgaven gjøres et valg av et format for å støtte begge behovene nevnt over (semantikk og presentasjon) og en arkitektur for bruk av dette formatet til symbolsk visning og tegning av grafer blir utformet og presentert.

Det presenteres videre en prototype som bruker det valgte formatet og viser hvordan dette kan brukes både til å utnytte semantikken i det lagrede uttrykket for å tegne opp en graf og bruke presentasjonsinformasjonen til å vise uttrykket symbolsk. I tillegg vises en fullverdig implementasjon av krysspublisering fra samme lagrede matematikk-kilde til ulike sluttformater. Krysspublisering støttes også for grafer, samt at interaksjon og dynamiske muligheter med animasjon, zoom og visning av bestemte punkter er mulig.

En analyse av fordeler og ulemper med en distribuert modell for tegning av grafer blir gjort. Konklusjonen her er at det finnes gode argumenter for en distribuert modell, både med tanke på funksjonelle krav og mulighet til skalerbarhet. Skalerbarhet og ytelse blir vurdert i et separat kapittel, herunder med en praktisk simulering av mange sluttbrukere mot en tjenermaskin med prototypen kjørende. På bakgrunn av dette konkluderes det at evnen til å støtte svært mange samtidige brukere er omtrent hundre ganger større i den distribuerte modellen.

Implementasjonen i prototypen er dokumentert både i form av diagrammer, oversikt over klasser og deres struktur (i hovedsak i form av et appendiks) og ved at all kildekoden befinner seg på en CD-ROM vedlagt denne rapporten. Prototypen er fullt fungerende og alle mål som var satt til denne ved prosjektstart er nådd. Enkelte eksempler fra prototypen kan sees i praksis direkte fra vedlagte CD-ROM, uten noen serverplattform installert.

Med tanke på valg av format konkluderes det med at matematikk på web er et område hvor det ikke er definitivt etablerte såkalte ”best practices” for hva man bør støtte av standarder for å muliggjøre utveksling og sikre fremtidig nytte av dataene. Ved å velge et format som både ivaretar semantikk og presentasjon og lett kan oversettes til andre formater vil man være godt sikret mot fremtidige endringer i trender.
