Abstract:

AbstractStock liquidity has improved over the recent 4 decades. This improvement was accompanied by a dramatic increase in trading activity. The net effect on the liquidity premium is ambiguous. We show that the characteristic liquidity premium of U.S. stocks has significantly declined over the past 4 decades. In recent years, characteristic liquidity is significantly priced only for the smallest common stocks. This decline stems from an improvement in liquidity and from a lower sensitivity of expected returns to liquidity. By contrast, systematic liquidity has not been trending down and is st

Understanding qital verses in language and context is crucial in correcting radical views. In understanding a verse about war or killing, it is essential always to consider the historical context and use an adequate linguistical analysis to avoid mistakes in concluding the meaning of said passages. If these two aspects are applied during the interpretation of qital verses, radicalized views will be able to be reduced. One of the interpretation books qualified as such is Syaikh Nawawi al-Bantani's Marah Labid. There is a uniqueness within this interpretation that is interesting to study. This r

Abstract:
Wild chimpanzees routinely share high-value resources such as meat obtained through hunting and fruit procured from raiding crops. Although it is predicted that the proximate mechanisms for sharing behaviour are the result of reciprocity, interchange and mutualism, examinations of these factors in captivity have not mirrored the degree to which they are found in the wild. The goal of the current study was to investigate how a group of seven captive chimpanzees responded when a highly desirable and monopolizable resource diminished over the course of eight months. To do this we measured the amo

The second database consisted of 11,448 male and female subjects aged 15–24 from the 1979 cohort ( NLSY 1979 ). These subjects were tested with the older 10-subtest version of the ASVAB. T
