In this way, short-term contacts of particles of zirconium hydroxide with the inner surface of the heating element made in the form of the winding helical are created. The corresponding equilibrium equations are derived for all nine regions of existence of described system. Abstract:
Abstract The integrity of carbon dioxide injection wells can be significantly compromised by exposure of borehole cement to CO2, leading to an increased risk of leakage over time. This study aims to review the optimal cement formulation to minimize reactivity with CO2, both in the presence and absence of brine. We focused on API Class G types of cement, modeled wells undergoing CO2 injection for permanent subsurface storage, and examined the chemical interaction of CO2 with cement components. We looked at the reaction of CO2, particularly with the calcium hydroxide in the cement, and examined

Abstract:
Traditional CO2 absorption methods for underwater life support equipment use alkali metal hydroxide chemical beds — mostly calcium hydroxide — that have been shown to have poor absorption efficiencies at cold temperatures, and must be replaced at considerable trouble and expense on a frequent basis. With chemical utilizations as low as 20% in water temperatures of 2°C, these hydroxides do not lend themselves to applications requiring extended durations in cold water due to the inability to carry sufficient quantities of expendables.
