Abstract:
Digitalization, as the most important trend in the modern development of the economy and society, can be accompanied by not only positive but also negative consequences. In order for it to have only a positive impact, it is necessary to fulfill the requirements that it presents to society in the form of the content of the challenges. In the case when these requirements are not met, there is a threat of negative consequences of the impact of digitalization, which are proposed to be described through risk. The article proposes to solve the problem of enhancing the positive and reducing the negative impact of digitalization on the activities of a certain subject and/or on the content of any object impacted by digitalization on the basis of the creation and implementation of a Comprehensive Digitalization Risk Management Program. It includes Program N 1 for managing risks caused by the impact of digitalization on a certain area of society; Program N 2 for managing risks caused by the use of main digitalization products; Cyber Risk Management Program N 3 or Information Risk Management Program N 4, of which Program N 3 is a part. Each of these programs contains 2 parts: part 1 contains management decisions developed independently, part 2 contains management decisions to implement the requirements of regulatory legal acts, as well as national and interstate standards that implement risk management of information security violations at the state, interstate or industry levels level.

Abstract:
The article discusses the results of the analysis covering the current state of the external business environment of metallurgical enterprises and the level of digitalization of significant metallurgical leaders in Russia. Based on them, the authors examined the possibilities and risks that are associated with the digitalization of the metallurgical industry, as well as their effects on the competitive ability of such industry in Russia in general. The general analysis of the metallurgical industry portrays the economic and political instability caused by supply chain disruption, anti-Russian sanctions, the downturn driven by the coronavirus pandemic and general geopolitical tension that has been dictating the performance of metallurgical enterprises for a long period and thus affects their sustainable development. The authors analyzed findings of the SWOT analysis of metallurgical enterprises, using Severstal PJSC as an example, and developed strategic reactions that serve as the foundation for the development of the digitalization strategy of the metallurgical industry. In addition, the evaluation of the connection between the level of digitalization of metallurgical enterprises’ performance and their profitability demonstrates that there is a direct connection. The level of digitalization of business processes of a metallurgical enterprise has a direct impact on its competitive ability, implying the necessity to establish a set of strategic reactions that make it possible to develop a strategy for digitalization of metallurgical enterprises’ business processes. This strategy helps increase their performance and minimize risks, resulting in an increase in the efficiency and competitive ability of the Russian metallurgical industry on the global market. The evaluation of the efficiency of the digitalization strategy proposed reveals that its successful implementation contributes to a significant increase in the metallurgical enterprises’ profitability.

Abstract:
As part of the process of sustainable urban planning in China, digital technologies have led to major practical and academic concerns. However, few scholars have focused on the impact of digital technologies on in situ urbanization from a policy–technology perspective. This interdisciplinary work aims to analyze how digital policies and their technologies contribute to the transformation of in situ urbanization patterns. This study follows the structure of law and policy research regarding the path of phenomenon presentation–institutional analysis–limitation interpretation. First, the legislation and policies for digitalization of the countryside has drastically changed the logic of how traditional in situ urbanization works. The concept of in situ urbanization 2.0 is used to describe this new phenomenon. Second, historical legitimacy, performance legitimacy, and socially sustainable reproduction are three reasons why rural digitalization reform has triggered in situ urbanization 2.0. Finally, the double dilemma of overreliance on technological change in the in situ urbanization 2.0 process is pointed out; these dilemmas need to be addressed through legislation and policy adjustments. Four recommendations for action are proposed to address these dilemmas. The findings of this research contribute to the literature on sustainable urban planning and rural digitalization reform.

Abstract:
The study of the transformation of retail chain stores (RCS) due to the impact of digitalization on them is a new problem. The main part of modern scientific research is devoted to separate directions of digitalization and does not consider conceptual aspects of these processes. The purpose of this article is to fill the existing research gap through the development of a new system concept of the digitalization impact on RCS transformations. The study shows the need to clarify the understanding of RCS strategic transformation caused by the drivers of different digitalization processes, which are not well understood today and are not taken into account when developing digitalization strategies. This situation has an extremely negative effect on the quality of RCS development and its competitiveness. The article consistently examines insufficiently covered problems in scientific literature and offers a new conceptual approach to the impact of digitalization on companies with regard to RCS transformation. New digitalization trends and their drivers have a deep impact on RCS transformations. A new system model is needed that integrates superdrivers and the impact of digitalization on the RCS transformation. Causal and heuristic forecasts of prospects, trends and results of digitalization, including contradictory results of AI development are included. We used materials from large retail chains “Magnit”, “Perekrestok” and “M.Video-Eldorado Group”. The research methods used were system modelling, cause and effect links building and heuristic forecasting based on logical models. The main results will be useful for researchers, managers, entrepreneurs and students in developing a clear understanding of digitalization development and its impacts, in order to better work out digitalization strategies and for the development of new directions of scientific research.

This paper explores in depth the mechanism of enterprise digital capability effects in supply chain digital development by reconstructing the supply chain cooperation capabilities (digital diffusion capability and digital collaborative capability). We use the questionnaire data covering 272 Chinese manufacturing enterprises and apply a structural equation model to test the hypothesis. The empirical result demonstrates that enterprise digital capability does not directly have a significant impact on supply chain digitalization, and the supply chain cooperation capabilities play a mediating role between an enterprise’s digital capability and supply chain digitalization. The results are robust as we thoroughly consider the direction of enterprise capabilities and verify the systematic requirements of supply chain digitalization and the high order of enterprise digital capability. These provide a theoretical basis for enterprises to promote the digital transformation of their supply chain through digital technology.

Abstract:
The digital transformation of industry is one of the priorities of the development of the economy of the Russian Federation, as the introduction of modern technologies in production has a positive impact on the development of other industries. The basis for the introduction of digital technologies in industry is the desire for a comprehensive increase in efficiency and the creation of conditions for the successful operation of industries. Increasing the effectiveness of institutional support for the digitalization of Russian industry is especially relevant in the context of increasing geopolitical tensions. In this regard, the authors conducted a study aimed at analyzing the organizational structure of tools to support digitalization of the manufacturing industry and developing recommendations for its improvement. The authors analyzed the structure of the institutions of digitalization of the Russian industry, which includes six main institutions. Priority technologies and directions for the development of digitalization of industry corresponding to global trends are highlighted. According to the authors, in order to create a single digital space, a single platform can be created on which institutions can be located and interaction between them can be organized through the allocated priority technologies. Based on the results of the analysis of the organizational structure of tools to support the digitalization of the manufacturing industry, proposals have been developed to create a system of digitalization of the Russian industry that meets the level of threats to the Russian economy from the alliance of countries led by the United States.

Abstract:
The Object of the Study. Modern theoretical and methodological approaches to the assessment of social inequality. The Subject of the Study. Internationally used indicators to assess the digital divide. The Purpose of the Study is analyzing of the theoretical and methodological approaches used in international practice to assess digital inequality in order to find ways to improve the indicators which currently are used in the Rossiyskaya Federatsiya. The Main Provisions of the Article. This author examines the following aspects of the impact of digitalization on Russian society: changes in the availability of information resources for different categories of the population caused by the use of ICT, differentiation in special skills for using ICT, and differences in the dynamics of changes in the quality and standard of living. The process of theoretical and methodological understanding of the phenomenon of digital inequality began in the second half of the XX century. It was initially understood as an economic difference between people in terms of their access to certain technologies, however it gradually gained a more comprehensive conceptualization as a systemic phenomenon: a manifestation of structural social inequality in a network society. Today researchers identify three levels of the digital divide (or steps in its evolution), highlighting the growing role of digital skills as well as social connections, intellectual, motivational and wider – human capital in social stratification. The problem of the inequality between individuals on the matter of using digital skills to improve level and quality of life is exacerbated by Industry 4.0 implementation and realization of the Russian government project of the creation of the digital economy. Analysis of the current Rosstat data from the point of view of three levels of digital inequality showed significant improvements in its first level – every year ICT becomes more accessible for Russians. The increase in the number of users leads to a drop in the average indicators of digital skills proficiency, nevertheless the number of Russians using such technologies to improve their level and quality of life is gradually growing. However, additional work is needed in this direction to make the reduction of third-level inequality a sustainable trend. The analysis of indicators which currently are used in the Rossiyskaya Federatsiya to assess the development of the information society, carried out in the framework of this study, demonstrated their compliance with international standards. The theoretical and methodological problem of the statistical methodology used by The Rosstat was revealed: the current indicators do not allow to reflect the correlation between the employment of the population and it’s level of the digital skills. Therefore the indicators currently used in Russiya for digital divide evaluation do not allow to access the readiness of the population to the transition period between industrial revolutions which are always accompanied by the primary wave of technological unemployment in the process of creative destruction of social and economic systems. The Russian state program «Digital Economy» had the strategic target «to launch a regular monitoring to identify the needs of different groups of the working population in the formation of digital economy competencies with the involvement of employers» by June 2019. However checking of the governmental sites of the authorities, who are responsible for the implementation of the mentioned monitoring showed that it is still not ready or just doesn’t accessible for general public.

The purpose of this paper is of course to determine the impact of digitalization of education on interpersonal communication of Karo State Madrasah Aliyah students in the social environment and within the school environment. This research method is qualitative. The results of this study are: The presence of digitalization which is a development of technology has changed the paradigm and pattern of community communication. The existence of this media makes communication not only done in one direction but can be done in two directions. The use of ineffective digitization will have a tremendous impact, one of which users will spend a lot of time just to access various kinds of digitization. But the effective use of digitization will make it easier for students to get information that is really needed so that they can generate creative ideas to support communication development. The most visible impact of digitization for students at MAN Karo is the decline in interpersonal communication activities. This will have an impact on services at MAN Karo. Students are more likely to use or access digitalization than to carry out interpersonal communication. This phenomenon can result in a lack of student awareness so that it will also have an impact on interpersonal relationships. Even though we know that interpersonal communication between students is very important considering that currently technological advances have changed the existence of communication. Therefore, students are expected to be professional in carrying out their duties and functions. Abstract:
The article examines one of the main directions of the implementation of a large-scale program of economic reforms in Saudi Arabia (Saudi Vision-2030), aimed at ridding the Kingdom’s economy of an alarming dependence on oil export revenues – the digital transformation of society, governing structures, and the economy as a whole. In the past few years, the information and communication technology (ICT) sector, which has become the largest in the Middle East, is increasingly visible not only in this region. Its development is particularly dynamic due to large investments in the latest technologies. The success of the ICT sector was also facilitated by the creation of new supervisory bodies and the improvement of the regulatory framework for various areas of digitalization. The country’s leadership aims to make Saudi Arabia one of the world’s leading countries in the field of ICT by building a digital economy based on the principles of the Fourth Industrial Revolutionanddigitalgovernanceofsociety. The five-year digital development strategy (2019–2023) provides for the growth of the ICT sector by 50% and an increase in the rate of “Saudization” of this sector to 50% by 2023. This strategy is expected to increase the contribution of the ICT sector to the economy by at least $13.3 billion. Assessing the prospects for the development of digitalization in Saudi Arabia, the author found four factors that make it possible to assess them as very favorable – sufficient funding, acceleration of the privatization process, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the inevitability of the diversification of the national economy, which is impossible without digitalization.

Abstract:
Digitalization has transformed various sectors, including forestry, by introducing specialized digital tools and ICTs. This study explores the impact of digitalization on the Italian forestry sector, focusing on socio-economic indicators. Data on these indicators were gathered from the “National Forest Information System” (SINFor), while the digitalization level in Italian regions came from previous studies. The methods used included correlation analysis between digitalization and socio-economic indicators, along with linear regression models. The study also presents three digital progress scenarios, predicting significant socio-economic improvements with increased digitalization. The results show a strong correlation between digitalization and forestry indicators such as employment, value creation, and certification. These findings highlight the transformative potential of digitalization for sustainable forest management, emphasizing the need for further investment in digital infrastructure to boost productivity, inclusivity, and environmental conservation. The study also discusses challenges in fully understanding the effects of digitalization and suggests future research directions to examine specific technological features and broader industry impacts.

Textual analysis and the Entropy-TOPSIS method are used in this research to create a measure of corporate environmental protection, and multiple regressions are used to find out how digitalization affects corporate environmental protection. The research sets up a theoretical framework for how corporate digitalization affects environmental protection and looks into how external financing constraints and an organization’s own financial position play a role in the middle. The research then looks at how outside factors like the business environment of the market and the level of competition in the industry affect the relationship. Using a threshold regression approach, the research also examines the change in the impact of digitalization on environmental protection after investor sentiment crosses the threshold from the distinct perspective of investor sentiment. Our research provides theoretical support for environmental protection by corporations and government policy direction.

Abstract:
Inspired by the desire to take a unique trajectory with the greater goal of new knowledge addition, this study examined the moderating effect of digitalization on the triangular relationship between digitalization, banks’ credit to private sector and economic growth in Nigeria for 2009 – 2021. The highly debatable direction of the relationship between credit to the private sector and economic growth in Nigeria has remained unresolved; by throwing digitalization in the mix, this study seeks to ascertain if there is a substantial shift in the direction of the subsisting argument with refence to Nigeria. The Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) approach was applied due to the mixed order of integration results obtained from the Unit Roots Test, which accounted for some structural breaks. For this study, the long-run results carry more prominence than the short-run since there is inherent room for adjustments. The empirical results show that private sector credit has a positive and significant impact on economic growth in Nigeria in the short run. However, in the long run, credit to private sector has a positive and insignificant impact on economic growth in Nigeria. The results also revealed that ddigitalization does not moderate the effect of banks' credit to the private sector on economic growth in Nigeria for the period reviewed. Because of the strategic role of financial intermediation played by deposit money banks, the paper supports the ongoing efforts of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in deepening the integration of digitalization into the financial services sector.

Machine-building industries in developed countries are becoming more flexible, technologically equipped and digitalized. The prospects for applying digital innovations are undeniable, but when it comes to implementing digitalization projects for industrial enterprises, a number of problems arise. Due to the fact that digital innovations are concentrated in Large companies in the United States and Europe, Russia, due to its backwardness in this direction, is experiencing serious difficulties in developing and implementing innovations. These problems are part of a failed innovation policy that has led to a decline in innovation activity and lagging behind some of the world's leading countries. One of the complex criteria for evaluating innovation policy and the results obtained is the Bloomberg Innovation Index, whose growth rates are unsatisfactory for solving national digitalization programs. The article shows the reasons for Russia's lag, and suggests measures to resolve the accumulated problems.

Abstract:
In the era of the digital economy, digital technology brings new opportunities for enterprises’ development. The degree of enterprises’ digital transformation determines their development level and potential. At present, China’s “double carbon” policy is having a profound impact on the industry. The relationship between digital transformation strategy and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance is analyzed based on the digitalization and sustainable development goals of enterprises, and on the basis of positioning enterprise digital transformation level through the strategic alignment model (SAM). Data are collected by questionnaire survey from 224 large manufacturing enterprises in China as a sample for empirical testing by the hierarchical regression method. The empirical results show the following. (1) Digital transformation strategy has a direct positive and significant impact on enterprise ESG performance. Specifically, it is reflected in the two dimensions of digital transformation strategy, namely business digitalization and platform digitalization, which have a significant direct positive impact on enterprise ESG performance. (2) Enterprise green innovation plays a significant intermediate role in promoting the relationship between digital transformation strategy and enterprise ESG performance. (3) The two dimensions of green innovation, namely green process innovation and green product innovation, both play a partial mediating role in promoting business digitalization and platform digitalization development level to enterprise ESG performance, respectively. It can be concluded that business digitalization and platform digitalization can improve enterprise ESG performance by promoting green process innovation and green product innovation. Therefore, enterprises should clarify the direction of development of their digital transformation strategy, emphasize green innovation, and continuously improve their ESG performance to create favorable conditions for achieving sustainable development.

Abstract:
Since the start of the Industrial Revolution, the global climate has changed dramatically. Concentrations of greenhouse gases (GHGs) in the atmosphere have increased sharply, followed by an increase in global average temperatures. However, business activities related to environmental protection are mostly focused on the implementation of legal rules instead of voluntary initiatives such as green innovation due to doubts about costs and profit. The goal of this research is to identify the impact of green innovation on economic growth in an innovative environment and digitalization conditions by using sophisticated indexes and regression analysis. The results show that green innovations have a positive impact on economic growth in the European Union (EU). However, the impact of digitalization on economic growth is still under discussion and depends on qualitative aspects of coverage and how they are reflected in digitalization indicators. It is important to emphasize that the data of this empirical study only cover EU countries that are subject to EU regulation and have similar trends in the development and diffusion of green innovations. Non-EU countries may have different approaches and policies influencing the maturity and diffusion of green innovations. The results of this research provide a scientific basis for strategic planning at the national and business levels, encouraging a focus on the development of green innovation not only as a means of reducing the impact of climate change but also as a strategic direction for increasing competitiveness and economic growth.
