The electric vehicle (EV) is increasingly emerging as an attractive solution to reduce reliance on fossil fuels in India. In commercial EVs, solar photovoltaic (PV) technology is employed both to charge the battery and power the vehicle. However, the conventional bidirectional DC-DC converter layout results in underutilization of solar PV power when the battery's state of charge (SOC) reaches maximum capacity. This work offers a unique dual input super boost (DISB) DC-DC converter designed specifically for solar-powered electric vehicles (EVs) to address the aforementioned challenge. The recen

Abstract We have performed numerical calculations of a binary interacting with a gas disk, using 11 different numerical methods and a standard binary−disk setup. The goal of this study is to determine whether all codes agree on a numerically converged solution and to determine the necessary resolution for convergence and the number of binary orbits that must be computed to reach an agreed-upon relaxed state of the binary−disk system. We find that all codes can agree on a converged solution (depending on the diagnostic being measured). The zone spacing required for most codes to reach a converg

We report on the development of a radioisotope power source based on the AlхGaAs1-х/GaAs semiconductor converter of β-radiation and tritium as a radiation source. The transducer efficiencies are compared for three types of β-radiation sources: (i) the tritiated titanium disk, (ii) the tritium lamp of green luminescent glow, and (iii) gaseous tritium. When using a converter based on the Al0.35Ga0.65As/GaAs heterostructure in a tritium capsule, the efficiency η = 5.9% is found with the maximum output specific electric power of 0.56 µW/cm2. This 1D density distribution adopts a viscosity mimicking parameter which simulates a quasi-Keplerian motion. Then, it is converted to a volumetric density considering vertical hydrostatic equilibrium using a power-law scale height, as usual in viscous decretion disk models. Abstract In this research paper, displacement, stresses and strains are presented for rotating FGM disk with variable thickness by using finite element method (FEM). Thermo-elastic material properties and thickness of FGM disk continuously vary as exponential and power law function in radial direction along radius of disk. The value of Poisson's ratio is taken as constant. The problem of thermo-elasticity is converted into second order governing differential equation in terms of radial coordinate. This conversion is based upon equilibrium equation for disk and stress-strain relationship. The i

Since pseudorandom code words used for encoding positions are not compatible with other electronics, pseudorandom encoders include a converter that translates the pseudorandom code into the natural binary code. Погрешности, вызванные одновременным действием на колесо поперечных (горизонтальных) сил от точки контакта колеса с рельсом, отрицательно влияют на точность измерения с применением магнитоупругих преобразователей. Percutaneous endoscopic discectomy (PED) for lumbar disc herniation is gaining popularity with the transforaminal (TF) approach preferred because it allows surgery under local anesthesia and preserves the spinal muscles. Although this procedure has some characteristic complications, it is rare for PED to be converted to conventional open surgery due to worsening of symptoms intraoperatively. Here, we report PED via the TF approach that required conversion to open surgery. The SMs can also provide a wide range for the output voltage and draw continuous currents with low ripples from the input source.
