We have found that the existing world trend related to the growth of service exports is also present in Europe. However, the trend of the service exports’ share growth in the general volume of export is not common for all European countries. We found that higher growth rates are observed in European countries with lower levels of GDP per capita. We also discovered the presence of a strong positive correlation between growth in service exports and GDP growth

Abstract:
We exploit the use of a controller area network (CAN-bus) to monitor sensors on the buses of local public transportation in a big European city. The aim is to advise fleet managers and policymakers on how to reduce fuel consumption so that air pollution is controlled and public services are improved. We deploy heuristic algorithms and exhaustive ones to generate Bayesian networks among the monitored variables. The aim is to describe the relevant relationships between the variables, to discover and confirm the possible cause–effect relationships, to predict the fuel consumption dependent on the

The hospitality sector is one of the most competitive industries and it is one of the leading engines of the world economy. The current crisis in the sector due to the COVID-19 makes organizations to consider more than ever the unique and the alignment of their services for becoming different from their competitors. In this sense, the hospitality skills have been identified as one of the crucial elements in the strategy by the companies because of the wide and diverse offer of tourism services and, at the same time, the new customer expectations which are pushing the organizations to create cu

Background: Due to the household registration system, Chinese elderly migrants have insufficient access to health services and social support. Thus, this study examined the use of health services, the access to social support, and the interaction among the elderly migrating within China. Methods: Data were obtained from the China Migrant Dynamic Monitoring Survey in 2015, adopting probability proportionate to size as the sampling strategy. Structural equation modeling and mediating effect tests were employed to explore the associations. Results: Approximately 45.9% of elderly migrants did not

Environmental Monitoring system has become more and more critical for biological protection recently. To get timely information from monitored environment, a timely wireless senor network routing scheme (TNRS) is proposed, which is made up of three phrases: initial setup, route discovery and establishment, data communication and route maintenance. In the first phrase, every sensor node will get the initial route table. In the second phrase, source node will find its own path with high fitness value. In the third phrase, data transmission and route maintenance are done under ACK confirmation me
