Abstract Objectives : To introduce a new interconnection network, Glued hypertree, and to discuss and analyze its physicochemical properties using distance-based topological descriptors. A comparative analysis between the Glued tree and Glued hypertree is carried away in this paper. Methods: We compare glued hypertree with glued tree using some topological parameters. The approach to finding the topological indices is to partition the edge set using Djokovic Wrinkler relation and thus reduce it to quotient graphs. Findings:

The main focus of the master thesis lies on developing a methodology to analyse the accuracy of toll declarations within a satellite based toll system. This methodology employs two different approaches to determine reasons why Toll Service Providers (TSP) deliver toll declarations that show charge inaccuracies. Both approaches are carried out to analyse the results of the ARENA project’s field test which was held in April 2010 to test On Board Unit (OBU) solutions for toll collection. In particular, the charge reports of companies that participated in the field test are analysed. An overview o

This thesis addresses the kinematic analysis of mechanisms, in particular, the position analysis of kinematic chains, or linkages, that is, mechanisms with rigid bodies (links) interconnected by kinematic pairs (joints). This problem, of completely geometrical nature, consists in finding the feasible assembly modes that a kinematic chain can adopt. An assembly mode is a possible relative transformation between the links of a kinematic chain. When an assignment of positions and orientations is made for all links with respect to a given reference frame, an assembly mode is called a configu

However, the applications in GPGPU computing exhibit distinct memory access patterns. Normally, the cache, in GPU cores, suffers from threads contention and resources over-utilization, whereas few detailed works excavate the root of this phenomenon. In this work, we adequately analyze the memory accesses from twenty benchmarks based on reuse distance theory and quantify their patterns. Abstract Reflectorless EDM technology uses phase measuring or pulsed lasers to measure targets of a reflective and non-reflective nature. Reflectorless distance measurement provides rapid measurement by saving time and labour for surveyors. However, the accuracy of these types of measurements is under question because of the variety of constraints that affect the measurement. This paper attempts to show the techniques of total station calibration and to investigate the possible sources of error in reflectorless distance measurement. Person re-identification (Re-ID) has become an intense research area in recent years. The main goal of this topic is to recognize and match individuals over time at the same or different locations. This task is challenging due to the variation of illumination, viewpoints, pedestrians’ appearance and partial occlusion. Previous works mainly focus on finding robust features and metric learning. Many metric learning methods convert the Re-ID problem to a matrix decomposition problem by Fisher discriminant analysis (FDA). The standard definition of a neighbourhood is an area confined by geometrical length and direction with respect to its focus. Standard GIS software includes tools for computations with uniform neighbourhoods, usually equal sized circles. These tools can be used for distribution analysis. Abstract:
Quadratic discriminant analysis is a well-established supervised classification method, which extends the linear the linear discriminant analysis by relaxing the assumption of equal variances across classes. In this study, quadratic discriminant analysis is used to develop a quadratic classification rule based on repeated measurements. We employ a bilinear regression model to assign new observations to predefined populations and approximate the misclassification probability. Through weighted estimators, we estimate unknown mean parameters and derive moments of the quadratic classifier. We then

Abstract:
We estimated both abundance and distribution of white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) on the Brandywine Valley unit of First State National Historical Park (FRST) and the Brandywine Creek State Park (BCSP) during 2020 and 2021 with two widely used field methods ? a road-based count and a network of camera traps. We conducted 24 road-based counts, covering 260 km of roadway, and deployed up to 16 camera traps, processing over 82,000 images representing over 5,000 independent observations. In both years, we identified bucks based on their body and antler characteristics, tracking their move
