Full textThis work is based on hydrological and hydraulic modeling of the Diablo creek located in the Alto de la Alianza district of the city of Tacna. The purpose of this is to create a hazard map to reduce the impact of hyper-concentrated flows and improve the urban planning of said district. For the hydrological modeling, we proceeded with the characterization of the study area through reports and satellite images, also, an analysis of the rainfall in the area of the head of the stream was carried out. Thus, generating an input database for the HEC-HMS to obtain the maximum flows for return periods of 50, 100, 200, 250, and 500 years. The hydraulic modeling of the flows was carried out with the FLO-2D software, taking into account the various existing methodologies in the articles to define the rheological parameters such as the yield stress and the viscosity of the study area. Subsequently, the maximum tie rods and speeds were obtained from the various simulations for the different periods previously installed. Finally, an analysis of the level of threat in the urban area was carried out through maps generated by the FLO-2D Mapper software for the different scenarios proposed. In addition, the effect of placing mitigation structures along the creek of the devil was evaluated and contrasting the values of depths, speeds, and levels of threat in the urban area.

The Brazilian State, in order to start a new political relationship with indigenous communities, implemented, in 1999, the National Policy of Attention to Indigenous Health (PNASPI), through the National Health Foundation (FUNASA) and 34 Special Indigenous Sanitary Districts (DSEIs) located in the national territory. The new health policy for the indigenous areas, structured within the differentiated attention Subsystem and integrated into the Unified Health System (SUS), proposed a participatory model of Civil Society-State comanagement, via council or public policy managers, cooperation agreements with NGOs and other participatory experiences. Just likeit probably occurred in other indigenous territories, the implementation of a new State Agency in the Xingu brought a creative process of political and cultural adaptationto local leaders, generating the possibility of an inter-ethnic negotiation field. It was therefore from this political scenario that the research proposed to understand the indigenous leaders' forms of practice and their representations. Thus, it sought to observe the strategies of the region s representatives who "make pacts" and "negotiate" with the various organizations responsible for the implementation of health public policies (FUNASA, City Halls and NGOs), oriented by constitutional principles that ensure (universal) rights and (differentiated) specificities regarding preventive health care to these and all other indigenous groups within the national territory. The analysis of these forms of organization and political activity also sought to observe how the implementation of the health policy and its institutional arrangements generated a redesigning of the policy practices established between indigenous peoples and the State. Thus, even though indigenous leaders have not articulated a homogeneous position regarding the State's "offer" of partnership through NGOs and management councils, many of which with goals to ensure recognition and political spaces both in the national scene and in their traditional systems of organization, they started a project that pursues the enlargement of the memberships and a change in the organizational structure of the State. The movement, conducted by the leaders of the Alto Xingu, involves a participatory model of comanagement, whose practice does not dispense a few moments of consummation of the identity among the actors who make up this participatory experience.

Full textCEARD means, Specialized High Performance Sport Center in Spanish, in this case it focus on martial arts in Lurin. This is a project which starts from my passion towards practicing martial disciplines and in search for better conditions for the development of professional sportsman. It’s function is to cover all the sportsmen’s basic needs, like: training, rest, medical attention and educational support. So the project must have adequate spaces according to the different activities, generating complexity between the different typologies and zones. In summary, CEARD is like hotel resort specifically for athletes, so they can achieve their highest performance by taking covered their other needs. Besides covering the standard typology of a CEARD, some concepts have been included, which will respond to the social context and sport culture of Peru. In sport culture the decision was to emphasize a psychology of tranquility through architecture and external spaces. By the social side, the project border is broken, besides being a hard typology, in order to promote and massif the practice of martial arts. The land of CEARD project responds mainly to criteria like: healthy environment and good accessibility. The project develops in a piece of land of 4.5 hectare, the initial core concept starts by a main linear axe which ends in a view to Cavillalca Islands. Then in the main axe intersects a radial axe which distribute sport spaces as a structure to contain external spaces, and make a perception of tranquility that goes from within spreading outwards.

Full textNowadays, education is considered the most valuable capital of societies; due to this, the most developed countries spend millions of dollars annually in this sector. In the case of basic education in Peru, it does not supply the entire school age population; only 73% of it can gain access to and the most important reason why is the lack of infrastructure. Thats the reason why this thesis project is about a college for academic excellence students, named “Colegio de Alto Rendimiento”. This is focused on providing services to 300 students, who attend the 3rd, 4th and 5th year of secondary school, where they will not only study, but also live and be provided with all the necessary at no cost. This thesis project tries to propose and realize a new architectural design from th one that is already established today. This will be achieved by proposing a new form of design so the spaces are not only limited on just being teaching spaces, they will rather be proposed to be flexible among themselves and that they can also be multifunctional by the requirements that the Ministry of Education demands. In addition, the chosen place for the project was Cieneguilla since the arquitecture program requires a 60% of free area, the one that will emphasized a link between the project and nature as the result of the teaching methodology requirement.

This study discusses the model of health care for indigenous people in Brazil from the perspective of the nursing work in health teams Special Indigenous Health District of the Upper Rio Negro - AM. This is an exploratory research with the aim of making explicit the problem of the process of nursing in health teams of the Special Indigenous Health District of the Upper Rio Negro - AM. (DSEI) included in the model of the Brazilian indigenous health care implemented at the end of the 1990s. Therefore this paper intends to review and discuss the practice of indigenous health care in the light of the theoretical framework of indigenous public health and the social sciences with the framework of cathegories like health labour and intersubjectivity that can provide subsidies for the improvement of the model of attention to indigenous health in Brazil with particular regards to health practices and actions taken with such specific populations. This study pointed out some critical nodes of the model of indigenous health practiced in Brazil, despite the advances in design, and organization in the form of Indigenous Health Districts, there is still much to do in terms of organization of the work process, composition teams, professional training, retention and involvement of the staff in these DSEIs and management. One of the keys to solving these problems could be the territorialization of attention, with the construction of a local health planning with the participation of communities, in order to guide interventions according to each community health status, problems and needs but also their potential and social responses
