Abstract:
Tyrimo objektas ir metodai: dobilų genties augalų lapų, stiebų, žiedų žaliavų tyrimas. Izoflavonai nustatyti ESC metodu. Darbo tikslas: Atlikti izoflavonų genisteino, formononetino ir daidzeino analizę dobilų genties augaluose, taikant ESC metodą. Darbo uždaviniai: atlikti literatūros analizę, apibendrinant dobilų (Trifolium L) genties augalų biologines savybes, izoflavonų taikymą gydymo tikslais ir nustatymo metodus. Parinkti ekstrakcijos sąlygas, įvertinant pasirinkto ekstrakcijos tirpiklio, jo poliškumo ir ekstrakcijos laiko įtaką. Optimizuoti ESC metodą dobilų žaliavos tyrimui ir pagrįsti metodo tinkamumą izoflavonų kiekio nustatymui. Atlikti įvairių dobilų rūšių lapų, žiedų, stiebų ir šaknų mėginių analizę optimizuotu ESC metodu ir nustatyti izoflavonų kiekius juose. Įvertinti izoflavonų kiekio įvairavimą skirtingose dobilų rūšyse. Nustatyti izoflavonų kiekybinės sudėties pasiskirstymą augalų dalyse. Palyginti T. pratense izoflavonų kiekių skirtumus augalo dalyse. Palyginti izoflavonų kiekybinės sudėties skirtumus T. pratense kultivuojamų ir laukinės populiacijos augalų žaliavose. Išvados: atlikus mokslinės literatūros šaltinių analizę, apibendrintos dobilų genties augalų biologinės savybės, izoflavonų taikymas gydymo tikslais ir flavonoidų bei izoflavonoidų nustatymo metodai. Object and methods: phytochemical analysis of different parts (leaves, blossoms, roots) of clover genus plants. Aim: to perform analysis of isoflavons genistein, formononetin and daidzein in clover genus plants by HPLC method. Objective: to perform analysis of scientific literature and evaluate characteristics of clover genus (Trifolium L.) plants and their usage for medical purpose, and analysis methods of active components. Select the conditions of extraction considering influence of solvent, its polarity and time of extraction. Optimize HPLC method for raw material analysis of clover genus and justify its suitability for quantitative analysis of isoflavons. Perform analysis of isoflavons in different parts of various clover genus plants by optimized HPLC method. Evaluate quantity difference between isoflavons in various genus of clover. Evaluate quantity difference between isoflavons in different parts of plants. Compare quantities of isoflavons in different parts of T. pratense pants. Compare quantity difference between isoflavons in raw materials of cultivated and naturally grown T. pretense plants. Abstract:
Darbą sudaro 107 puslapiai, 4 skyriai, 7 lentelės, 70 paveikslų, apžvelgta 101 literatūros šaltiniai. Apžvalginės dalies tikslas – išnagrinėti dirvožemio atstatymo metodus, parinkti tinkamiausią Lietuvos sąlygomis. Išnagrinėtos raudonųjų dobilų veislės, jų ligos, apžvelgtas dirvožemio atstatymo taikymas pasaulio šalyse. Išanalizuotos modeliavimo programos naudojamos sunkiųjų metalų pernašai dirvožemyje ir augaluose. Antrajame darbo skyriuje pateikta raudonųjų dobilų auginimo, paruošimo analizė bei dirvožemio mėginių analizavimo metodika. Trečiajame darbo skyriuje pateiktas sunkiųjų metalų sorbavimas iš dirvožemio naudojant raudonuosius dobilus, kurie buvo auginti švariame, vieną kartą užterštame ir periodiškai teršiamame dirvožemiuose esant skirtingoms sunkiųjų metalų koncentracijoms dirvožemyje. Užteršus dirvožemį didesnės už DLK sunkiųjų metalų koncentracijomis raudonieji dobilai po VI mėnesių dirvožemį išvalė: nuo Cu iki 28 %, nuo Mn–30 %, nuo Ni–32 %, nuo Cr–31%, nuo Zn–17 %, nuo Pb–23 %. Raudonieji dobilai sunkiuosius metalus geriausiai sorbuoja pirmaisiais augimo mėnesiais, nes augalams reikia daugiau mineralinių medžiagų,tarp jų ir sunkiųjų metalų. Ketvirtame skyriuje pateikta duomenų apdorojimo ir matematinio modeliavimo PHYTO–DSS programa. Gauti rezultatai parodė, kad naudojant fitoremediaciją po 1 metų raudonieji dobilai išvalo dirvožemį nuo Mn iki 38 %, nuo cinko iki 20 %, nuo Cr iki 45 %, nuo Ni iki 37 %, nuo Cu iki 33 %, nuo Pb iki 26 %, lyginant su po VI... Work consists of 107 pages, 4 sections, 7 tables, 70 illustrations, and 101 references. The aim of literature review part was soil regeneration techniques and to examine the most explored method – fitoremediation. It is also analysed the varieties of red clover breeds and their characteristically diseases and application for soil regeneration in the world. It is discussed about simulation programs used for heavy metals transfer in soils and plants. In the second section is presented methodology of the red clover cultivation, processing and analysis of soil samples. In the third section of the work is presented the use of red clover for heavy metals sorption from soil. The experimental research was done by growing red clover on clean, once contaminated and periodically contaminated soils. After VI months red clover cleaned soil from heavy metals in following: from Cu 28%, Mn – 30%, Ni – 32%, Cr – 31%, Zn – 17%, Pb – 23%. Red clover’s the best cleaning efficiency occurs in the first growing months, because plants need more minerals, including heavy metals. Data processing and mathematical modelling was made with Phyto-DSS program. Simulation results revealed that the use for fitoremediation red clover after 1 year Mn is cleaned up to 38%, Zn – 20%, Cr – 45%, Ni – 37%, Cu – 33%, Pb – 26%, comparing with the VI-month research results. The work summarizes the findings and recommendations.

Darbo tikslas – apžvelgti Lietuvoje augančių antilipideminėmis savybėmis pasižyminčių augalų pritaikymo galimybes mažinti cholesterolio kiekį kraujyje bei pagrįsti raudonųjų dobilų terapinį potencialą. Tyrimo metodai. Bendrasis flavonoidų kiekis raudonųjų dobilų žolėje nustatytas UV spektrofotometrijos metodu. Raudonųjų dobilų veikliųjų medžiagų ADME savybių prognozė atlikta panaudojant ACD/ADME suite 5.0 programą. Statistinė analizė atlikta naudojant „Microsoft Office Excel 2003“ programą. Apskaičiuotas aritmetinis vidurkis ir standartinis nuokrypis. Tyrimo rezultatai. Daugiausia flavonoidų raudonųjų dobilų žaliavoje yra birželio mėn. pradžioje ir viduryje (0,46 ± 0,07 proc.). Liepos mėn. pradžioje flavonoidų kiekis sumažėja 2–3 kartus, o vasaros viduryje padidėja iki 0,33 ± 0,05 proc. Rugpjūčio mėnesį flavonoidų kiekis žaliavoje vėl sumažėja iki 0,29 ± 0,03 proc. Remiantis programos prognozėmis raudonųjų dobilų žolės veikliosios medžiagos pasižymi gana palankiomis ADME savybėmis, kurios leistų šio augalo preparatus vartoti per os. Dauguma veikliųjų junginių, ypač flavonoidų aglikonai ir kumarinai turėtų labai gerai absorbuotis pasyviosios absorbcijos būdu, o didžiausias bioprieinamumas per os (> 70 proc.) prognozuojamas biochaninui A, daidzeinui, formononetinui ir kumestroliui. Beveik visoms veikliosioms medžiagoms, kaip ir statinams, prognozuojamas nedidelis pasiskirstymo tūris: nuo 0,7 l/kg iki 1,6 kg/l. Visiems junginiams prognozuojamos labai mažos tikimybės, kad jie... Objectives – to overview the possibility to use plants with antilipidemic properties growing in Lithuania to reduce cholesterol in blood and to substantiate therapeutic potential of the red clover. Methods. Total flavonoid amount in red clover was determined by using UV spectroscopy. ADME properties of red clover active substances were predicted by using ACD/ADME suite 5.0 software. Statistical analysis was carried out using “Microsoft Office Excel 2003” software. Arithmetical average and standard deviation were calculated. Results. The biggest amount of flavonoids in red clover raw material is detected in the beginning and middle of June (0.46 ± 0.07 %). The content of flavonoids decreases two-three times in the beginning of July, and increases to 0.33 ± 0.05 % in the middle of the summer. The flavonoid content of raw material decreases to 0.29 ± 0.03 % again in August. Based on program predictions the active substances present in the herb of red clover have beneficial ADME properties affording the preparations of this herb to use per os. Majority of active substances, especially flavonoid aglycones and coumarins should have very good absorption by passive route of absorption, and the highes oral bioavailability (>70 %) is predicted for biochanin A, daidzein, formononetin and coumestrol. Abstract:
Cilj: Utvrditi funkcionalni i mentalni status pacijenata pre i posle medicinske rehabilitacije, a nakon operacije kuka kod osoba starije životne dobi primenom standardizovanih upitnika (SF36, Harris hip score, MMS, TUG, FES-I) . Materijal i metod:Istraživanje je bilo prospektivno i uzorak je činilo 96 pacijenata sa prethodnom operacijom kuka koji su u toku 18 meseci, od januara 2014., bili u rehabilitacionom programu na Klinici za medicinsku rehabilitaciju KCV. Kod svih pacijenata je registrovan: pol i starosna dob, kao i uzrok odnosno vrsta operativnog zahvata. Pacijenti su pregledani i anketirani sa svih 5 upitnika u tri vremenska trenutka: pre samog početka rehabilitacionog tretmana i na 3 i 6 meseci posle. SF-36 je generički merni obrazac koji se koristi za procenu kvaliteta života. Harris Hip Score (HHS) predstavlja merni instrument za procenu funkcionalnih parametara. Mini Mental State (MMS) se koristi kod procene mentalnog statusa. Timed Up and Go Test (TUG) je efikasan metod procene pokretljivosti i funkcije lokomotornog sistema kod starijih pacijenata. Falls Efficacy Scale- International (FES-I) je test kojim se meri stepen zabrinutosti od pada. Metodom ponovljenih merenja analizirana su stanja pacijenata pre i posle medicinske rehabilitacije. Izvršena je i korelaciona analiza korišćenih upitnika, kao i univarijantna analiza u odnosu na vrstu operacije. Rezultati:Nakon medicinske rehabilitacije posle operacije kuka kod osoba starije životne dobi je značajno bolji ukupni fizički skor SF36: 29,0 / 38,7 / 46,3; kao i vrednost HHS skora 50,2 / 63,4 / 76,3; i TUG testa 31,3s / 19,6s / 13,6s; (pre rehabilitacije, 3m i 6m respektivno). Postoje statistički značajne korelacije ukupnog fizičkog domena SF36 i vrednosti Harris Hip, TUG i FES-I, kao i ukupnog mentalnog domena SF36 i MMS skora. Zadovoljstvo pacijenata rehablitacionim tretmanom je u korelaciji sa vrednostima funkcionalnih testova (Harris Hip Score), testom ustani kreni (TUG) i ukupnim fizičkim domenom upitnika SF36, kao i sa skorom FES-I. Zaključci: Kvalitet života i funkcionalna sposobnost operisanih pacijenata nakon medicinske rehabilitacije je značajno bolja kako u komparaciji stanja na tri meseca i na početku rehabilitacije tako i u komparaciji stanja na 6 meseci u odnosu na stanje na 3 meseca.
Objective: To determine the functional and mental status of patients before and after medical rehabilitation after hip surgery in elderly by using standardized questionnaires (SF36, Harris hip score, MMS, TUG, FES-I). Materials and methods:The study was prospective and the sample consisted of 96 patients with previous hip surgery that during the 18 months from January 2014, was in a rehabilitation program at the Department of medical rehabilitation KCV. For all patients registered sex and age, as well as the cause and type of surgery.Patients are screened and interviewed with all 5 of the questionnaire in three time points: before the start of the rehabilitation treatment and at 3 and 6 months after. SF-36 is a generic form that measurement is used to assess the quality of life. Harris Hip Score (HHS) is a measuring instrument for the assessment of functional parameters. Mini Mental State (MMS) used in the assessment of mental status. Timed Up and Go Test (TUG) is an effective method of evaluating the mobility and function of the musculoskeletal system in older patients.Falls Efficacy Scale- International (FES-I) is a test that measures the level of concern of falling. Method of repeated measurements were used to analyse condition of patients before and after medical rehabilitation. There was also a correlation analysis of used questionnaires, as well as the univariate analysis in relation to the type of surgery. Results: After medical rehabilitation after surgery of the hip in the elderly is significantly better overall physical SF36 score: 29.0 / 38.7 / 46.3; as well as the value of the HHS score of 50.2 / 63.4 / 76.3; and the TUG test 31,3s / 19,6s / 13,6s; (before rehabilitation, 3m and 6m respectively). There are statistically significant correlations of total physical domain SF36 and values Harris Hip, TUG and the FES-I, and the overall mental domain of SF36 and MMS score. Patient satisfaction with rehabilitation treatment is correlated with the values of functional tests (Harris Hip Score) test Up and go (TUG) and total physical domain SF36 questionnaires, as well as the FES-I. Conclusion: Quality of life and functional capacity of treated patients after medical rehabilitation significantly improved both in comparison to the situation in three months and at the beginning of rehabilitation as well as in comparison at 6 months compared to 3 months.

Abstract:
Objetivo: Determinar la prevalencia de doblez del bisel de agujas usadas en pacientes bajo anestesia troncular atendidos en la Clínica Docente UPC durante el periodo 2016-I. Métodos: Se realizó un estudio transversal siendo la unidad de análisis una aguja dental larga de 27 G utilizada en pacientes bajo anestesia troncular. Previamente recolectadas y desinfectadas, las agujas fueron llevadas a un laboratorio para ser observadas mediante un Estereomicroscopio. Una vez observadas, se midió la angulación del doblez con el software Meazure® 2.0. Los datos se analizaron calculando porcentajes y para las asociaciones se utilizó la prueba de chi cuadrado. El tamaño muestral incluido fue de 239 agujas, las cuales fueron ordenadas en 5 grupos según el semestre de Clínica cursado por el operador. Las variables utilizadas fueron categóricas, estas fueron: Semestre de Clínica cursado por el operador, prevalencia, grado y orientación del doblez del bisel. Resultados: Se encontró una prevalencia de 80.42% de doblez del total de agujas, así como un mayor porcentaje de doblez leve (36.57%) en el análisis de la variable grado de doblez. Por otro lado, la orientación de doblez que más se presentó fue el doblez interno (51.67%). Conclusión: Se encontró que un 80.42% de las agujas analizadas presentan doblez, siendo el doblez leve y doblez interno los porcentajes de deformación del doblez de bisel más presentes.
Objective: To determine the prevalence of bevel deformation of needles used in patients under inferior alveolar nerve block treated at the UPC Teaching Clinic during the 2016-I period. Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out, with the analytical unit being a 27 G long dental needle used in patients under Inferior Alveolar Nerve Block. Previously harvested and disinfected, the needles were taken to a laboratory to be observed by means of a stereomicroscope. Once observed, the angulation of the bevel was measured with the Meazure® 2.0 software. The data were analyzed by calculating percentages and for the associations, the chi square test was used. The sample size included was 239 needles, which were ordered in 5 groups according to the semester of Clinic taken by the operator. The variables used were categorical: Clinical Semester taken by the operator, prevalence, degree and orientation of the bevel. Results: A prevalence of 80.42% of bevel of the total needles was found, as well as a higher percentage of slight fold (36.57%) in the analysis of the varying degree of bending. On the other hand, the fold orientation that was mostly presented was the internal fold (51.67%). Conclusions: It was found that 80.42% of the needles analyzed showed fold, with the slight fold and internal fold being the bending fold deformation percentages more present.

Abstract:
This paper examines the 1848 Manchu translation of Pu Songling’s Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio (Liaozhai zhiyi聊齋志異) by the Manchu translator Buljigen Jakdan. Though, like most depictions of Manchu translations of Chinese fiction, this text has typically been approached as a literal translation of little use to scholars, this paper draws from translation studies and views it instead as a commentary. Focusing on dream tales, in particular the story “A Fox Dream,” this paper examines Jakdan’s translation of the story within the context of assessments made by contemporaneous commentators. While late imperial commentators sought to police the boundaries between dream and reality that are continually crossed throughout this story – as per the anti-supernatural rhetoric prevalent at the time – Jakdan’s translation instead deliberately blurs the boundary between the two. By closely comparing Jakdan’s translation to the Chinese original, this paper throws Jakdan’s alterations into sharp relief. These include ambiguous word choices, vague phrasing, and several crucial omissions. By continually blurring the boundaries between what is a dream and what is not, the story is complicated even further, thus creating a version of the tale that is uniquely Jakdan’s.

Controlling is one of the modern business functions and professional support to management, it coordinates and integrates and makes business more transparent. In this dissertation author investigates reality of controlling in organizations, and presents some of the most important results. Model of corporate controlling of industrial system developed and set out in this dissertation should enable the business system management to evaluate future business activities, in addition to monitoring the past and present business activities.

Abstract:
The presented thesis deals with the topic of Czechoslovak cultural politics in music during the Socialist Realist era. The author based the study on the personal history of Václav Dobiáš, a prominent composer, cultural organiser and a pedago- gue, who serves as a typical representation of an artist, who bestowed all his artistic talents to the cause of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia. The first chapter briefly describes Socialist Realism as a movement in music in the Soviet Union, the place of its origin. The main emphasis is put on the introduction to Zhdanov's po- litical speech, which consequently became the mandatory norm in the countries of the Eastern bloc. The next chapter is focused on Czechoslovak reflexion of Socialist Realism and its reception. This chronological development aims to expose the spe- cifics of each periods' reception of this artistic movement. Following chapters are dedicated to Václav Dobiáš. The first chapter of this part of the thesis deals with the beginning of the artist's journey which was strongly influenced by the avantgarde movement of 1930's. Next chapters depict his adoption of communist ideology in 1945, explore the motives behind this ideological conversion and characterize his po- litically-engaged work. Abstract:
During the 1740’s, Hudson Bay went from an obscure backwater of the British Empire to a locus of colonial ambition. Arthur Dobbs revitalized Northwest Passage exploration, generating new information about the region’s environment and indigenous peoples. This study explores evolving English and British representations of Hudson Bay’s climate and landscape in travel and natural history writing, and probes British anxieties about foreign environments. I demonstrate how Dobbs’ ideology of improvement optimistically re-imagined the North, opening a new discursive space wherein the Subarctic could be favourably described and colonized. I examine how Hudson Bay explorers’ responses to difficulties in the Arctic and Subarctic were seen to embody, even amplify, central principles and features of eighteenth-century British culture and identity. Finally, I investigate how latitude served as a benchmark for civilization and savagery, subjugating the Lowland Cree and Inuit to British visions of settlement and improvement in their home territories.
