I have been dealing with the themes of prefabricated houses and housing estates until recently. I was especially interested in their aesthetics. Order, grid and certain regularity and repeatability. At the same time, I was always interested in his social connotations, mainly because I live in these places. Gradually I became more interested in topics related to my own home. So I moved from the general themes to my own experience. But what is my home? Home is a place of utmost importance in our society. Home is made up of people, family. People have it associated with many rituals that accompany their lives often without actually being considered for them. Thanks to these rituals, we manage, among other things, the everyday influx of positive and negative influences of the surroundings and deal with them in various ways. Morning coffee, brushing your teeth, lighting a candle, wiping dust, filling a bath, scattering water on flowers, etc. Balance is the key to everything we do. And I would like to analyze, document and process these home and personal rituals in this work. The final thesis will consist of a free series of paintings with possible interventions and overlaps into video or installation, etc.

The subject of my diploma thesis is the design of a new building "retirement home", a home with a special regime, in the form of project documentation for the construction. The building is partly basement with four above-ground floors and covered by a single-layer flat roof. On the first floor there are common, operational spaces and spaces for commercial use. The other above-ground floors are identical and serve as an accommodation. There is mostly technical background in the basement. The construction system is a wall bi-directional of brick masonry elements, with the exception of basement masonry, which is made of reinforced concrete. The object is based on foundation pads and strips. Ceiling structures are monolithic reinforced concrete. The whole building is insulated by contact insulation and has a ventilated facade.

The subject of my diploma thesis is the design of a home for the elderly, a home with a special regime in the form of project documentation for the construction. The house is designed as stand-alone and wheelchair accessible. The building is partly basement, with four above-ground floors. On the first floor there are social and operational spaces of the home for seniors and there is also commercial use. The other above-ground floors include individual client rooms and operational background. The construction system of the whole building is a transverse wall. The building is based on concrete foundation. The external wall is made of clay block and the floor structure is made of cast-in-place reinforced slab. Basement loadbearing masonry is monolithic reinforced concrete. The staircase is a monolithic reinforced concrete and a lift is in the mirror of the staircase. The object is roofed with warm flat roof. Other part of this thesis is an assessment of building physics and fire safety requirements.

The topic of this thesis is a project documentation of a Retirement home located in Prague in Novodvorská street. The building is designed as a stand-alone building with five floors of a rectangular ground plan with a receding fifth storey. The retirement home is divided into a public section - a pharmacy and a part for clients - accommodation, leisure time including facilities - a restaurant with a kitchen, a laundry room. The construction system is designed as a reinforced concrete monolitic skeleton with rectanguplar columns and the filling structures are made of ceramic blocks. The building is based on reinforced concrete footings. A waterproof concrete is proposed for the lift shaft, and the foundation sills are designed for the perimeter masonry. Roofing of the 4th and 5th floor is a warm flat roof. In the 4th floor roofing section, the roof is made as a concrete tiles paving. The main entrance to the building is from southwest and the access to the building is from the northwest side where there is a parking lot for employees and clients.

Home should be a place where I live, where I feel safe, where I have privacy, where I can always return and like to return. It is my refuge from which I go out into the world every day. At home, I will find comfort, warmth, love, respect, understanding ... Having a home has been one of the basic needs of every human being since the beginning of humanity. It is possible to lead a full life only if it is fulfilled not only but also of this need. The analytical part of the work deals with the possibilities, needs and requirements of people for housing from the age of 60 and their application in architecture. The design of a residential building not only for seniors in the facility is part of the practical part. Combining several generations and functions in one place supports the creation of interpersonal relationships and the integration of seniors into society. In the building, there is a facility for the elderly connected with daycare for seniors, a dining room and a pensioners' club in connection with general rental flats for young families. The project is proposed for the municipality of Važec, located in the district of Liptovský Mikuláš in Slovakia.

The aim of this thesis is to show theatre as a space of personal and professional growth, a place where one can respond to pressing issues that emerge from the world and its events. The name of this thesis is Theatre as Home with subtitle Identity, Memory, and Space. The first chapter, Theatre and Alchemy, describes an internship with Min Tanaka, and deals with theatre?s transforming potential, with movement and its development from traditional cultivation of land all the way to the stylised dance movements of butó, where body and landscape reflect each other. This dance technique stems from a specific cultural memory and particular historical situation. It is a concrete demonstration of the idea that a connection between life and dance is not just a dream: it can be an instrument of discovering identity.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to elaborate the project documentation of a new-built home for the elderly, in the cadastre unit of small town Blížkovice. It is a three-storey building with a basement. On the basement there are cellar berths, garage and technical facilities. On the first floor there is facilities, dining rom, a doctor´s surgery, massage, hairdresser´s and pedicure. On the second and third floor there are common areas and a total of twenty-two residentail units (1+kk – eighteen flats, 2+kk – two flats). The vertical loadbearing structures are made of clay blocks and lost formations. The object is insulated by a contact thermal insulation systém. The horizontal loadbearing structures and staircase are made of reinforced monolithic concrete slab. The roof consists of a flat roof with extensive green and terrace. There are ten parking spaces on the ground.

The thesis dealt with newly built detached house for seniors. The building is designed in the village Drnovice, Blansko district. House for seniors has one basement and three floors. In the basement are designed therapeutic ingredients such as physiotherapy, massage, gym and the appropriate sanitary facilities. Further there are technical facilities, sanitary facilities and lockers for employees. The first floor is designed to entry, reception, library, lounge, dining room and other spaces. Second and third floor is designed for living. Dimensions of the maximum contour of the house are 55,14 x30,34 m. Foundations are of strip footings of plain concrete C16/20. This thesis addresses building of a new home for seniors with a special care on the street Zahradni in Pilsen. The relevant estate lies on the compound of a former paper mill on the right bank of the Radbuza river near the Papirensky bridge. When the proposition for the building was being drafted, an extra focus was placed on the special care regime. This means continuous home and nursing care with medical oversight including a guaranteed care for patients with special needs, such as those suffering from dementia, Alzheimer's disease or those with psychiatric issues in a stabilized stage. The proposed capacity of the home for the Aged consists of 142 beds in three above-ground floors, which also contain lounges that double as canteens. The underground floor houses the kitchen whit catering equipments, which will only be used for this object, the main lounge, exercise and creative areas, as well as staff rooms including those of the management. This type of a facility is currently in great demand in the Czech Republic due to the insufficient capacity of similar social and health facilities.

The aim of diploma thesis is elaborate the project documentation to execution of a new building home for the elderly. The building is detached and situated in a sloping terrain on the selected piece of land in the cadastral area of Smíchov in Prague 5. This new building is designated for permanent housing for persons of retirement age with a good level of their ability to perform routine daily tasks and take care of themselves, but also for people without this ability. Home for the Elderly offers a 40 beds in single and double rooms. The building has three above grounds and one underground floor. The entire building is expected movement of persons with reduced mobility. Entry to the first functional part is located on the north side of the home. It consists of a reception room and each floors with rooms. In the home for the elderly is 30 rooms with private bathroom. The second function of the operation home is located in the basement floor, entrance is possible from the south or staircase or elevator from the first floor. All floors are connected by two staircases, and three elevators. The object is designed in a technology of Porotherm system. Roof structure consists of single-layer flat roof with a classic sequence of layers, combined DUO and extensive green. The project documentation which is needed for a realization of a new home for the elderly is worked up with eight structural details including in a computer program AutoCAD.

The aim of my diploma thesis is to elaborate project documentation for the execution of a new building home for elderly people. The intention is to construct a new apartment building for pensioners who are able to do activities of daily living. There can be found 24 lease flats for a maximum of 30 accommodated people. The home offers 12 hours care service and has rooms for carers, dining rooms, places for rehabilitation, outpatient care and stores for keeping accommodated people’s things. The whole area has wheelchair access and counts with the movement of people with reduced mobility. The building is designed as brick, using clay blocks which are put on concrete foundation strips. Thermal insulation is a combination of contact thermal insulation system and ventilated facade with hanging plates. The roofing is designed partly as a float double-shell roof with timber truss girder, and partly as a single-shell roof with concrete load-bearing structure. The drawing documentation has been created using computer programs AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and the programs by doc. Dr. Ing. Zbyněk Svoboda (Teplo, Area, Stabilita, Simulace) and another simple computer programs like Excel were used for the thermal assessment.

The diploma thesis deals with the design of the project documentation of the home for the elderly in the village of Šoporňa, in the territory of the Slovak Republic. The building is designed as a detached building with three above-ground floors, partly underground. The building consists of a public section on the ground floor, where are situated services for residents and the general public such as hairdressing and cosmetics, doctors and dentists, cafes, massages and shop. There are also offices for administation, the dining room for the employees and the guests. First floor and second floor is designed for seniors, there is also a common room on each floor. The cellar part is designed for the interest of the guests, partly serves as a technical room. The third part of cellar serves as space for the maintenance of the building, the general storage areas and storage areas for business activity. Building is covered with warn flat roof with emergency breakwaters. The structure is based on the foundation pads and the structural system of the building is RC frame. The ceramic cavity blocks with contact insulation and ventilated facade are used on the infill walls. In the southern part of the building there will be a relaxing park and a relaxing garden.

The second chapter deals with the aging and its aspects, social services and legislation connected with this area of undertaking. The topic of this thesis is a project documentation of a Retirement home located in Trencin part Staré zlatovce. The object had been designed as a stand-alone four storey building. The floor plan is in the shape of an "F". The Retirement home has a public part, designed for people from nearby area: There is a chapel, a Physician and flats for rent, restaurants and free-time activities. The food prepared in the objects is fairly simple. The main lunch courses are being delivered from a different provider and are only re-heated in the kitchen. A reinforced concrete monolitic skeleton has been used as a contrtuction system for the bulding with square-pillars and infill material is designed from massive wooden construction Novatop solid. The object itself is standing on reinforced concrete footings. The elevator shaft bottom will be made of water ressistant concrete. The building envelope threshold will consist of reinforced concrete as well. One part of the object, above the 3rd floor, is green-roofed, and the roofing above the 4th floor is warm flat roof. The same is designed above the 1st floor chapel - a warm flat roof with rectification pedestals and concrete paving so that the roof can be used as a terrace. Photovoltaic and phototermic collectors are placed on the roofing above the 4th floor. The driveway of the whole object is placed on the western side, just as a parkplace for employees. The parkplace for tennants and visitors is placed on the eastern side.

The area of the former barracks lies near Sokolnice falling into the periphery of Brno. It is a picturesque village that has a rich history. The barracks are located on a hill called Stará hora, there are several cadastral areas. Near the building, we can find a radar that manages the nearby Brno airport, or the Peace Mound built on the Prateck Hill, soldiers fall to remembrance. The design principle was based on the given operation and its related functions. Dining room, rehabilitation, barber, pedicure, buffet and, last but not least, a multifunctional hall with a small library. The destruction of the unnecessary transformer station and the replenishment of the mass was a logical solution to the situation. It is an assembled reinforced concrete frame 8x8m. Inside the half-block we find a terrace with a pool, which is trying to create a specific microclimate and humidify the surroundings. The pool also serves as a retention tank and the house effectively manages rainwater. Within the lifetime, because of the corrosion of reinforced concrete and the unclear condition of the structure, I designed the exterior cladding to demolish and build a new cladding, a brick made of ceramic blocks. The house is designed in a minimalist spirit and cooperates with the greenery in its surroundings. Especially in long-distance views of integration into the landscape, this greenery is valued. The spirit of place in heavy air bears a strange whiff of dragging death that, when thinking about the history of a place, froze and freezes ... so perhaps while resting before the last journey ... that house discourages and breathes a little life into dying ...

The objective of this diploma project is to propose a new self-sufficient city for 9000 inhabitants. The city as a phenomenon accompanying mankind for centuries has become an integral part of a physical and cultural heritage of our civilization. Accumulation of its population, ideas and material possessions always led to the remarkable act of creativity and efforts, that was always pushing mankind further. Nowadays cities are faced with a myriad of crises, both economic and social. However we shouldn't forget, with a view to the future, the impending ecological crisis. The rapid growth of the past is followed by a gradual decay in the current age. Moreover, in today's globalized society, the town becomes materially totally dependent on its surroundings. It drains resources from less developed land to feed its inhabitants. We can hardly predict consequences that would arise if these resources were cut off. With the precipitous pace of urban growth and migration of the world's population into densely urbanized areas* arise to us a question, if in these non-urban (agricultural) areas will be still somebody, who will nourish these future metropolis? * (since 2010, more than a half of the world population lives in cities) The aim to create a new self-sufficient city isn't a kind of compensation for contemporary cities, but an attempt to create a working model that would be generally applicable on a present towns. It should hint the way, which they could take to achieve self-sufficiency, less dependence on imports, functional community life reinforcing a higher unity and sophisticated environmental legacy for future generations. The goal of these efforts is not a "moving the population into this model city", but the movement of ideas from model town into existing cities.

The remaining two above-ground floors are designed as 1 + KK or 1 + 1 flats. Each balcony is designed for each apartment. Further, there are nurses on these floors. The building is designed as brickwork made of brick blocks with additional mineral insulation thermal insulation, the roof structure being solved using pre-prestressed concrete reinforced concrete panels Spiroll. The roof is designed from flat sloping wedges.

The thesis is dedicated to solving the problem of homelessness, from the vantage point of synergy of social policy tools, mainly the housing policy. The author s aim has been to find out what methods are adopted to prevent and solve homelessness in Prague, whether the steps taken by the state or other subjects active in the capital provide help to the group of the socially excluded individuals in the process of their reintegration into the society of people with homes.
The theoretical part deals with the crisis of the welfare state concept, based on solidarity of the wealthier classes with the socially deprived groups. After examining expert sources, the accent is put on definition of social policy participants on the part of the state and other subjects that are instrumental in integration of persons temporarily or permanently excluded from the consumption of the fundamental social value,housing. Last but not least, this work defines the phenomenon of homelessness in its key aspects: in the history of its emergence and causes, its perception by the public, typology of homeless persons, and in the problem with a qualified estimate of the number of the affected.
The practical part is dedicated to a closer examination of the social exclusion of inhabitants in the interaction with the responsible persons from the ranks of social workers, curators, housing authority clerks, providing expert help to the socially deprived groups among Prague inhabitants. This research, done in the form of interviews, is completed by a questionnaire survey carried out directly with the people concerned the homeless. The contribution of this work consists in this combination of both perspectives, the basis of which is knowledge of the homeless environment, acquired via the author s voluntary work for a lowthreshold treatment program center Naděje in Prague.

The thesis is based on monitoring how one represents, creating an environment, how one completes it, or how the human environment is created. When we ask ourselves what our home means for us, we knew we could give it the shape of space. We could describe it as a place where we like to be. Some questions arise. If there is any idea of living at home, if it is as personal, how does each of us perceive home in his intimacy as well? How did it become the architecture itself? The goal of the work is to translate the understanding of the home through a specific situation. I choose a village in Slovakia, Čechynce, which has more than 1000 inhabitants. The architectural design itself does not adapt to the creation of a home as a house. He wants to point out that the home is not in an isolated system of walls, but in an ability of distence and in a chance to return again.

The aim of the thesis is to select a suitable heat source for a residential building using simulation modeling and multiple-criteria decision analysis. The market is offering plenty of possibilities, thus the part of this thesis is dedicated to description of main characteristics and pros and cons of most common heat sources (e.g. coal, biomass, natural gas, electricity, heat pumps). There are many ways to decide which source is an optimal solution for a house. In this thesis, there are presented four possible approaches: decision based on the analysis of the total costs of the source and the methods WSA, TOPSIS and ELECTRE III. In the end, the results of these methods are summarized together with the qualitative factors which are also considered in the decision making process.

The analysis is divided into parts including social life development in retirement age, the current social life of elder people and also the factors affecting social life. The aim of this thesis is to discover the changes of social life and also to compare the social life options of elder people living in retirement home and elder people living in their own home.

This thesis Socio-economic context of the care subsidy is engaged in mapping the evidence of contributions to the care subsidy of social services users in Domov Rožďalovice and comparing them, particularly in the two offered social services - Homes for the elderly and Homes with a special regime.
The theoretical part is drawn from available literature and the internet sources relating to the chosen topic. The first chapter explains the functions and principles of social policy, welfare state is characterized and described pillars of the social system in the Czech Republic. The next chapter follows the characteristics of social services, their types, forms, financing and legislative regulation. The third chapter is the core of the theoretical part, there is a description of the care allowance, their aims, above, the financial cost and to whom the care allowance intended. It is also discussed about the process for gain the care subsidy, and its effectiveness.
The practical part describes the selected organization Domov Rožďalovice and then described the procedure how to calculate the monthly cost of social services users in Domov Rožďalovice. In the second chapter of the practical part are evaluated results of the survey, which was conducted with clients of the Home of the elderly and. Home with a special regime. Consequently, this part continues with semi-structured interviews guided relating to social and economic characteristics of the chosen topic.
At the conclusion of the evaluation is processed and the results are set out proposals for corrective action.

A property - former soap faktory called "Pilnáčkova faktory" -- which is suitable for the realization of the investment is located in Hradec Králové. A demand for retirement care beds is significantly higher than available beds in Hradec Králové region. This was the main driver blind this idea of building the senior home. The thesis is divided into theoretical and also practical section. The theoretical section explains and describes the essentials parts of every business plan. The practical part deals with the actual implementation of the construction and operation of a home for seniors. The key part of the thesis is financial analysis, financial statements. Subsequently, the entire investment is evaluated by using NPV, IRR and ROI indicators. Finally, SWOT analysis allows to assess the benefits of investment from various angles.
