Метою нашої роботи був ретельний аналіз поширення ВІЛ-інфекції серед груп ризику та контингенту донорів крові за період з 1 січня 2001р, по 2006р. включно. При обстеженні 101334 донорів на антитіла до ВІЛ зафіксована тенденція до підвищення рівня інфікованості серед них з 0,37% у 2001р. до 0,89% у 2005р., 2006 рік – рівень залишився відносно високим 0,43% .
