The combination of Theophylline and Ephedrine isoften used to induce an additive effect in alleviating thesymptoms of respiratory disorders. <p align="center"><strong>Abstrak</strong><strong></strong></p><p align="center"><strong> </strong></p><p>Metode kromatografi cair kinerja tinggi (KCKT) dengan detektor ultra lembayung telah dikembangkan dan divalidasi untuk estimasi kadar secara simultan campuran piridoksin hidroklorida (PH) dan piratiazin teoklat (PT)dalam sediaan tablet antiemetik. Proses pemisahan terjadi dalam kolom Inertsil® ODS-3 pada panjang gelombang 280 nm dengan laju alir 1,0 mL/menit. Fase gerak yang optimal untuk pemisahan adalah campuran methanol-asam asetat 1% (20:80) dengan waktu retensi PH dan PT berturut-turut adalah 1,2 dan 9,8 menit. Perolehan kembali PH dan PT berturut-turut adalah 100,13 dan 99,78 %. Batas deteksi untuk PH dan PT berturut-turut adalah 0,21 dan 0,22 µg/mL, sedangkan batas kuantisasinya berturut-turut adalah 0,70 dan 0,72 µg/mL. The separation process occurs in the Inertsil® ODS-3 column at a wavelength of 280 nm with a flow rate of 1.0 mL /min. The optimal mobile phase for separation is a mixture of methanol-acetic acid 1% (20:80) with the retention times of PH and PT 1.2 and 9.8 minutes respectively. The recoveries of PH and PT were 100.13 and 99.78%, respectively. The detection limits for PH and PT were 0.21 and 0.22 µg / mL respectively, while the quantisation limits were 0.70 and 0.72 µg / mL, respectively. Abstract:
OBJETIVO: Observar o comportamento do fator de necrose tumoral-a (TNFalfa) e da proteína C reativa (PCR) em cirurgias simultâneas de fígado e intestino. MÉTODO: Para este objetivo foi desenvolvido um modelo experimental, no qual foram operados quarenta ratos da raça Wistar, divididos em quatros grupos: grupo controle, grupo 1 com ratos submetidos à hepatectomia a 70%, grupo 2 com ratos submetidos à colectomia e grupo 3 com cirurgia simultânea de hepactetomia e colectomia. Em todos os grupos foram dosados TNFalfa e PCR uma hora após o procedimento. Os animais foram mortos em seguida. RESULTADOS: Os valores encontrados mostraram alteração nas dosagens desses elementos nos diversos grupos, sendo que no grupo 3 houve aumento significativo do TNFalfa e queda de PCR. CONCLUSÃO: Quanto mais complexo se tornou o ato cirúrgico os níveis sangüíneos de TFNalfa aumentaram e os níveis sangüíneos da PCR diminuíram significativamente.

Di pasaran, terdapat berbagai sediaan obat yang mengkombinasikan dua atau lebih zat aktif dalam satu sediaan, salah satunya adalah obat flu yang mengandung parasetamol, klorfeniramin maleat, gliseril guaiakolat dan fenilefrin hidroklorida. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menetapkan kadar keempat campuran zat aktif tersebut secara simultan karena analisis keempat campuran zat aktif tersebut belum ditemukan baik di Farmakope Indonesia maupun di United States Pharmacopoeia. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengoptimasi berbagai jenis campuran fase gerak yaitu metanol dengan buffer fosfat pH 4,1; metanol dengan buffer fosfat pH 4,3 dan metanol dengan buffer fosfat pH 4,6. Selain itu juga dilakukan optimasi berbagai perbandingan fase gerak yaitu 30:70; 40:60; 50:50; 60:40 dan 70:30. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi fase gerak metanol:buffer fosfat pH 4,3 dengan perbandingan fase gerak 60:40; laju alir 1 ml/menit dan dideteksi pada panjang gelombang 263 nm dapat digunakan untuk menetapkan kadar parasetamol, klorfeniramin maleat, gliseril guaiakolat dan fenilefrin hidroklorida secara KCKT. Hasil kadar pada sediaan tablet Supraflu® memenuhi persyaratan yaitu diperoleh kadar fenilefrin HCl, parasetamol, gliseril guaiakolat dan klorfeniramin maleat berturutturut adalah 99,2362% ± 0,4493%; 96,0242% ± 0,2180%; 97,9870% ± 0,7435% dan 101.4191% ± 0,7106%. There are numerous drug preparations that consist two or more active substances in a fixed combination dosage form . One of them is flu remedies containing paracetamol, chlorpheniramine maleate, glycerylguaiacolate, and phenylephrine hydrochloride. This study aimed to determine the levels of the four mixtures of active substances simultaneously because the analysis of the four mixtures of active substances had not been found either in Indonesian Pharmacopoeia or in the United States Pharmacopoeia. The study was conducted by optimizing various types of mobile phase mixtures, i.e. methanol-phosphate buffer at pH 4.1, methanol- phosphate buffer at pH 4.3, and methanol-phosphate buffer at pH 4.6. Besides that, optimization of various mobilephase ratios were also conducted, i.e. 30:70; 40:60; 50:50; 60:40 and 70:30. The results showed that the mobilephase combination of methanol-phosphate buffer at pH 4.3 with a mobilephase ratio of 60:40; flow rate of 1 ml/minute and detection wavelength at 263 nm could be used to determine the levels of paracetamol, chlorpheniramine maleate, glycerylguaiacolate, and phenylephrine hydrochloride using HPLC. The results of the levels in Supraflu® tablet preparations met the requirements, where levels of phenylephrine HCl, paracetamol, glycerylguaiacolate and chlorpheniraminemaleate were 99.2362% ± 0.4493%; 96,0242% ± 0,2180%; 97.9870% ± 0.7435% and 101.4191% ± 0.7106%, respectively.

Abstract:
Effort repair of land quality better be done by simultan namely with application of organic matters and inorganic fertilization. The objective of this research is to study the effect of varied organic matters source and phosphate fertilizers on the chemicals soil characteristic and cocoa nutrient uptake. The experiment was laid experimentally in split-plot design and environmentally in randomized complete block design. The main plot was source of P consisted of, control, SP 36 and rock phosphate in dosage of 200 mg P2O5 per kg of air dry soil. Source of organic matter as sub-plot consisted of control (no organic matter), cow dung, cocoa pod husk compost and sugar cane filter cake, each in dosage of 2.5 and 5.0%. Result of this experiment showed application of cow dung, cocoa pod husk compost and sugar cane filter cake increased content of C, N, Ca exchangeable, Fe available, and pH in soil, and SP 36 increased availability of P in soil. Application of sugar cane filter cake increased N, K, Ca, Mg, and SO4 uptake but did not increase Cl uptake, application of cow dung in dosage 5% increased N, K, and Cl uptake and cocoa pod husk compost dosage 5% increased N and K uptake of cocoa. SP 36 increased Mg uptake of cocoa but rock phosphate did not increase it. They were not interaction between organic matters and phosphate fertilizers to nutrient uptake of cocoa. Nutrient soil content as affected by organic matters correlated with nutrient uptake of cocoa.Key words : soil chemical properties, nutrient uptake, cocoa, organic matter, phosphate fertlizers.
