Abstract:
Four new species of Draconarius Ovtchinnikov, 1999 (Araneae, Agelenidae) from the Tibetan Plateau, China are described: Draconarius baibaensis sp. n. (♀), Draconarius budanlaensis sp. n. (♀), Draconarius yigongensis sp. n. (♂♀), and Draconarius yingbinensis sp. n. (♀). The male of Draconarius linzhiensis (Hu, 2001) is described for the first time and the female re-illustrated. All species belong to the Draconarius venustus-group. The examined specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IZCAS) in Beijing.

A total of 71 species of the spider subfamily Coelotinae are recorded from Yunnan, China. The seven species that belong to the Coelotes pseudoterrestris species group were revised by Wang et al. (2009). Three species of the genus Pireneitega, one species of the genus Platocoelotes will be studied in a future revision of the genera. The rest of the 60 Draconarius species are described in this study, including 26 new species. All the new species were collected during a 10 year inventory of the Gaoligongshan Mountains in western Yunnan by the California Academy of Sciences and the Hunan Normal Un

Draconarius Ovtchinnikov, 1999 in the subfamily Coelotinae is the largest genus of the spider family Agelenidae and comprises 246 described species, mainly from East and Southeast Asia (World Spider Catalog 2018). The recently published volume on Chinese spiders in the Fauna Sinica series recorded a total 174 species of Draconarius in China, including 27 new species (Zhu, Wang & Zhang 2017).

Our study also supported the following Draconarius synonyms: D. semilunatus Zhu & Chen,2009 syn. n. is a junior synonym of D. guizhouensis (Peng, Li & Huang, 2002) and D. grossus Zhu & Chen, 2009 syn. n. is a junior synonym of D. spirallus Xu & Li, 2007.
