Otolaryngologists are at high risk of acquiring coronavirus because most of the procedures are aerosol generating and we have to deal with upper airways which contain high viral load. The objective of this study is to elaborate the draping technique which diminishes aerosol in the operating room. Use of a framework and a drape with customized hand insertion ports help to contain the aerosol generated during the operative procedure. The draping technique acts as an additional form of protection from aerosol along with an increase in self-confidence to the healthcare workers during this pandemic

Thereby, scrap in the production of lightweight high-performance components out of CFRP is reduced. Furthermore, components can be designed in an anisotropic way, thus lighter and adapted to the fiber properties. Moreover, production speed will be by far higher than that of conventional variable-axial textiles, like tailored fiber placement and fiber patch p

Abstract:
Background. Awake craniotomy is a useful surgical approach to identify and preserve eloquent areas during tumour resection, during surgery for arteriovenous malformation resections and for resective epilepsy surgery. With decreasing age, a child’s ability to cooperate and mange an awake craniotomy becomes increasingly relevant. Preoperative screening is essential to identify the child who can undergo the procedure safely. Case Description. A 11-year-old female patient presented with a tumour in her right motor cortex, presumed to be a dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumour (DNET). We had conc

Abstract:
Introduction / Innovation Concept: Insertion of an internal jugular (IJ) central venous catheter (CVC) under ultrasound guidance (USG) is a complex skill that requires considerable practice in order to achieve technical proficiency. Simulation allows novices to engage in structured and high volume repetitive practice of USG IJ CVC insertion and to work through a predictable pattern of errors prior to real patient encounters. Based on earlier work on learning curves for CVC insertion, this curriculum uses a model of simulation-based high volume deliberate practice of the fundamental skills of U

Abstract:
This paper gives the definition and forms of expression of “the spiral” and expounds the methods of application and variation of the spiral in fashion design. Different expressive forms of different spirals are analyzed and sorted out, and experimental creation is carried out. Finally, combing knowledge of fabrics, of draping and of design techniques, an analysis is made of the effect of the use of different fabrics and draping on spiral forms to achieve the best three-dimensional effects. Comparative research and literature referencing are used for this paper. Case study is also made of parti

Abstract:
Use draping techniques, the better fitted raglan sleeves are obtained directly on two piece sleeve samples. Through flatten the raglan sleeves, get the plane structure template. Subjective and objective analysis has been taken on fit effect of raglan sleeves. By comparing the group A of normal raglan sleeve and group B of optimized raglan sleeve, it is found that 2-piece raglan sleeve has better fit and dynamic properties.
