Abstract:

Proteins function as worker molecules in the cell and their natural environment is crowded. How they fold in a cell-like environment and how they recognize their interacting partners in such conditions, are questions that underlie the work of this thesis. Two distinct subjects were investigated using a combination of biochemical- and biophysical methods. First, the unfolding/dissociation of a heptameric protein (cpn10) in the presence of the crowding agent Ficoll 70. A cultura da soja está exposta a várias condições ambientais adversas, e dentre estas a seca é responsável por grandes perdas na produtividade. Na safra 2011/2012 a redução de produção brasileira foi de 8,94 milhões de toneladas. Abstract:

Der Aufsatz gibt im ersten Teil einen Überblick zur Sammlungsgeschichte der italienisch-sprachigen Handschriften in der SLUB und ihren Vorgängerinstitutionen. Dabei wird gezeigt, dass zum einen die sächsischen Kurfürsten und Könige mit ihrer Sammelleidenschaft, zum anderen aber auch Bibliothekare oder Gelehrte dafür sorgten, dass italienischsprachige Manuskripte an den Dresdner Hof kamen. Zudem wird dargestellt, dass auch der Ankauf großer Bibliotheken für ein Anwachsen des Bestandes der Codices italici sorgte. The shift from woody (shrubby, arborescent) to herbaceous habit was the dominant trend in angiosperm evolution. Its reversal, i.e., evolution of woody forms from herbaceous ancestors, is described as secondary or derived woodiness. Such cases are most abundant on oceanic islands and on tropical mountains experiencing mild climate, but are also found in Mediterranean-type vegetation affected by seasonal drought.
