The diagnosis of abnormal transformer oil temperature is of great significance to guarantee the normal operation of the transformer. Due to concept drift, the oil temperature abnormal diagnosis of the oil-immersed main power transformer is usually unstable via the classic data mining method. Thus, this paper proposes an adaptive abnormal oil temperature diagnosis method (AAOTD) of the transformer based on concept drift. First, the bagging ensemble learning method was used to predict the oil temperature. Then, abnormal diagnosis was performed based on the difference between the predicted oil te

Analysis of the Electrocardiogram (ECG) signals is the pre-requisite for the clinical diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases. The effect of impulse and Gaussian noises is randomly distributed whereas baseline drift generally affects the baseline of the ECG signal; these artifacts induce interference in the diagnosis of cardio diseases. The influence of these artifacts on the ECG signals needs to be removed by suitable ECG signal processing scheme. This paper proposes combination of no

Full text
Abstract:
After five years of national programmatic use of Norplant® contraceptive implants, in 1992 the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) plans to implement a follow-up Use-Dynamics Study of implant users in West Java and West Sumatra Provinces, Indonesia. A Diagnostic Study was implemented in 1991 to prepare for that study prior to final approval, and to get some early insights into implant program operations in advance of final results from the main study. This report is a summary of findings from the Diagnostic Study. The Diagnostic Study had two broad objectives: to obtain infor

Full text
Abstract:
Clamp-on ultrasonic meters remain of interest to the natural gas measurement community because of their potential to provide reasonable measurement accuracy without the need for piping modifications or service interruptions. The applications where clamp-on meters have been successfully applied include temporary measurement while a primary device is unavailable and diagnosing abnormal flow behaviors. The objective of this project was to examine existing public literature concerning the operation and application of clamp-on ultrasonic meters and to use this information to create a guideline docu

Abstract:
Trade and regional integration in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) have been constant goals of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB, or Bank) since its inception. While the Bank has historically had a very active role in policy discussions with and technical assistance to countries on these issues, it has not had a substantial regional lending program in this area. Indeed, the trade and integration portfolio is divided between the nonlending part, mostly led by the Trade and Integration Sector, and the infrastructure integration part (where the bulk of the lending is concentrated), le
